It was a crisp night as the mist began to settle onto the streets of London. The passenger door to the beaten old sedan opened and a pair of familiar weathered brown boots touched London pavement for the first time in a long time. "Thanks for the ride." The thick, friendly baritone voice said as he handed a small wad of pounds to the driver who was kind enough to give the young kindred a ride into town. The middle aged motorist gave a polite waive as the old sedan sped off into the night. As he straightened his black leather jacket and ran his fingers through his thick brown head of hair, he let out an audible 'Ah' as he allowed his atrophied body to inhale the London air. Rob Aiken had finally returned to London. He smiled. It was uneasy, but one none the less. Since he had been embraced, Rob had never returned to a city after he had left it behind him with his boot heels slamming pavement. His home of Washington DC and the towns since then; New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Belfast, Bucharest, Zegreb, Belgrade, Venice, and all points in between he had visited and since dismissed. He had seen much in his years after becoming embraced and done many things. But this was a first for him. The day he left London was an emotional one. He was a creature of habit and after several months in one location, his mind started to crack. LEAVE! It said to him relentlessly, almost as relentless as the beast within him. You cannot stay! Do not become attached! They are not your friends, none of them are your friends! Get out while you still can! The road is your friend, your ONLY friend, not the roots that you would lay in an urban jungle. And so he fled once again into the wilderness, into the sleazy motels and dive bars, dealing with garou and kindred alike. He always said to himself if he only found that nice quiet place to live out his unlife he would be happy. But he wasn't, every place was like the last, hollow and pointless. But London, something was special about London. Something he did not quite understand... So here he was, drawn back to the city like a moth to the flame, wandering what fate had in store for him. The Borough of Enfield he thought. He remembered it well. It was the haven of the Anarchs of London. An 'interesting' group of kindred to say the least about them. He had butted heads with them on several occasions, which included the bombing of the building next to Elysium that he had set once he had made his presence known in the town. He had always seen them as weak and pandering to the Camarilla, who was the scourge of kindred society... In his opinion. But they were still Anarchs, they were still those he could relate to, and he needed friends in this city. Even though he had not made strong friends with them, they were always a good place to start and the Night Tripper was always a personal favorite of theirs. He walked down the street, his mind lost in thought. What were they going to say? Would they even remember him? So many questions and the answers would be at the Tripper. He rounded the corner and felt a thud of despair hit his decrepit gut as he looked at the charred remains of what was once the Anarch's bar and haven. Police tape lined the scene and burnt black support beams jutted out of the scorched earth. Rob could not believe it, the Night Tripper was gone, burned to the ground, nothing left. "Well I guess that answers my questions." Rob mouthed in shock as he looked over the remains. Questions answered and yet so many questions shot through his mind. What happened? Were there even any Anarchs left? Could his instincts be wrong? Was this not the town he was looking for after all? This town always did love to throw curve balls at him. "Welcome home Rob..." He murmured, his voice heavy with sarcasm. His one lead burnt to the ground and yet no kindred or answers of what happened in the year since his absence in sight. "Welcome home indeed." He stood there, looking at the wreckage, and wondered. Where did he go from here? OOC: (So glad to be back! PM me if you want to get some RPs going) Edited by RobAiken, Monday, 14. July 2014, 06:38.

Leslie had been sitting home alone again. Lately Emily was so busy and Leslie worried for her but there was no time for that because she knew the Malkavian could take care of herself and they had other things to do when the woman got home. Demon, Leslie's ghoul, cat was being annoying. Just like the Gangrel it had been stuck inside for too long and everyone knew Gangrels and small rooms weren't friends. Her mind lately had been stuck on everything that had happened on Anarch ground. The Tripper was her main worry. She had heard about but she hadn't been able to go and see for herself. Too many memories were there and she wasn't too fond of knowing that it was gone but one had to find peace about it one way or another. So the Gangrel got up and got dressed. She put black high heels, a layered skirt that reached three inches above the knee to show more than enough skin and crimson red corset. On top of it she wore a blazer because otherwise the corset would reveal her fur on her back and luckily the corset was long enough to hide the fur on her belly. With a sharp whistle Demon followed her outside. The night air did her good and she immediately felt that push she needed to have that sleepy feeling leaving her mind and body. The girl started running and surprisingly fast on high heels. It was a habit and something she has as an advantage towards enemies. They never saw her as a threat because a teenage girl on high heels surely couldn't or wouldn't run. Leslie smirked at her thoughts until she reached the Tripper. The young one stood still and her ghoul cat nuzzled her leg while it sat next to her by her feet. A pain shot through her dead heart. Why was this place gone? And she wasn't the only there. A shadow stood closer and was investigating it. One of those Camarilla curious ones? Leslie slowly approached until she saw the face and then frowned. "Well I'll be damned! Look who finally decided to show up again. I've been through some trouble because you disappeared." The girl said while she stood there with her feet apart. Her right hip tilted to the side and her hands in her hips like a school teacher ready to lecture the naughty kid. Fuck! Last time she saw him was that wild night they had together and fed from each other. So much had changed meanwhile but she couldn't deny the pulls on the strings of her heart and mind. However her Beast growled due to the blood bond with Emily. It was her guardian of her loyalty and if it was one thing she respected it was her own loyalty towards the one she loved. |

Well, well, well. Rob thought as if the Angel of Coincidence had smiled upon him for better or for worse. He had not been back in town for longer than a few minutes when she walked up to him. Leslie, the Gangrel he had been with the night before he had left London. "Well look who is still in London." Rob smirked, laughing at the coincidence. "Out of all the kindred in this foggy town, I did not think you would be the first one I would run into when I showed up here. Staying out of trouble I hope." His faint Southern Accent began to slip into his smooth baritone voice. He leaned back on the heels of his boots, ready to hear what Leslie had been up to since his absence. |

There was a touch of anger in her eyes and her smile wasn't as sweet as she wanted it to be. "I was trying to stay out of trouble but then you disappeared and I got hunted down by the Baron. One good thing came out of it. I'm now a part of your cause. The Anarchs are my family now but things went bad... really bad" The girl walked over to him and stood close, really close. If she still had breath he might have felt it but seeing as there was none he could only see the confusion in her eyes. Confusion mixed with anger and hurt for the way he left her. Something deep down her growled at him which only she could hear and she understood the message. He had left her broken hearted and with a two step blood bond that was hard to ignore. He deserved pain but she couldn't. Somehow she just couldn't. "How come you are back? Heard about what happened and decided to take a peek to see who's still alive and who is not?" |

Rob stood his ground. His demeanor unchanged, the smile still played across his face. The emotions were still inside him, just as anyone would feel from a blood bond. "Why would the Baron hunt you down? I thought she hated me after what I did to that building." He asked confused. Rob remembered the Baron when he last stepped into London. She was an understanding sort but her and her friend had not attempted to hide their contempt for him when he made any type of attack on the Camarilla. "But I'm glad to see you have joined our side." Rob said with a grin as he brushed some of the hair out of Leslie's face. "Very glad." Rob turned to look at the remains of the Night Tripper, his mind was working faster than his expedient legs could ever hope to carry him. "I don't know." Rob said in honesty. "Something... Drew me back. I can't explain it... But here I am ready to do what has to be done." He turned back to Leslie. "Leslie, what all has happened since I've been gone? Who is the Baron? Hell is that old recluse still The Prince around here? Where do the Anarchs meet since the Tripper is gone?" Rob paused. He knew he was flooding the young Gangrel with questions. He shouldn't overload her. Edited by RobAiken, Tuesday, 15. July 2014, 18:03.

When his fingertips briefly touched the skin of her face while brushing her hair away she swallowed her emotions down. "Didn't matter what you had done. You were Anarch who went missing after some nights with a Sister of the Sword. She was pissed and I got..." The girl shivered and paused. It was clear she still had feelings for him and she was struggling with it all. His bloodbond was fading and Emily's was still present. She was getting torn between emotions and making it hard for her to stay focused. With a shaky voice she continued. "Doesn't matter. The past is the past. But why did you leave me like that? No goodbye or anything?" There was obviously hurt and anger in those questions. She quickly started answering his questions. "The Prince now is Alarik Blücher, a Ventrue and a typical one at that. We gather mostly at the Hospitality Club which is not far away from here. What happened here is unknown. There are rumours a Tremere did this and others say a rogue Ventrue went crazy. I don't know but either way it's not good. Case is being investigated by the Cam though. A lot happens when you go MIA, Rob... a lot." Then she turned away from him. She had to. If she kept staring in his eyes for much longer she would do stupid things. Or not so stupid. Depending on how one looked at it. Gosh it hurt. Too many strings were pulling on her mind and emotions. She crossed her arms under her bust and stared at the remains of the Tripper. So much had died in the flames with it. |

Rob placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry." He said honestly. "If it is any consolation. It wasn't because of you that I left... It was just..." He paused. He didn't know how to put together the words he needed to convey to her his compulsion to run even though he was not being chased. "I just had to go. I had to leave. I'm sorry. I'm sorry you were a victim of that." Rob looked at the remains of the Tripper. A LOT had happened and he felt the need to throw himself right into the thick of things. Maybe he was crazy. He didn't know. "Can you forgive me Leslie?" He asked. |

Why did he touch her? Leslie closed her eyes and in those few seconds she saw flashes of all there moments together. She wanted to hate him but it was impossible with the bond they still shared. A hunger for his taste played inside her. It lingered in her mind but she knew she had to resist her. She listened to his words and felt anger growing deep in her belly. For now she ignored it and hopefully she could keep it down for the rest of the night. "Forgive?" She paused and frowned while she pulled away from him. In the time he was gone she had mentally been broken. The forceful power of the Baron had changed her in mysterious ways. "Forgive what? The fact you did what you told me you did best. I was the stupid one to trust you and to lose myself in you." Did that mean he was forgiven? She had no idea. Maybe. This was the worst time to show up. She felt like breaking apart as she was now struggling with two blood bonds pulling at her. She needed to say something before she either hurt him or threw herself in his arms. "Nora left a while ago. So did Sullivan and a few other Anarchs. We are currently without Baron but we manage to keep going. A part of Sabbat turf collapsed but no one really knows or want to say how that happened so the Sword is pretty calm to non existent at the moment." The Flemish girl tried to hold on to the stability she tried to create in each word she spoke. She stood with her back to him staring at the burned down Tripper. Her arms still across her chest. Rob stood perhaps two maybe three steps away from her. |

Rob pulled away. She was hurt, he supposed she had every right to be hurt. "Listen, I'm not here to ruin whatever you have going on or cause you any problems. I can't do anything much past saying that I am sorry and hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me." The rest of her words did not sit well with him either. The Barony was now vacant, Nora and Sullivan gone... "I came back to help the Anarchs in any way that I could. It looks like you all need more help than I realized. We deserve better than one little Borough of North London. We deserve much more than this." Rob looked at Leslie, she still seemed defensive but he didn't care. He was glad to be home. He grabbed her and hugged her tight. "I know you are mad and you have every right to be. But I'm really glad to see you." He said. |

"London is not doing well Rob and somehow the Camarilla is working around all this. They are reaching out and I'm not sure what to think of it. They could easily take our grounds and either kill us or force us to go Cape. We are in troubled times and we are all trying to get our own place. Maybe the Tripper was just the beginning but don't ask me of what. You better keep low and don't blow buildings up for now. Search new allies and see what they can tell you. It is what I had to do when everything I cared for disappeared one by one." Yes! She was talking about him, Nora, Sullivan, Espen and some others. In surprise that he hugged her tight she growled for only a few seconds until the familiar feeling of his arms soothed her. She wrapped her own arms around him and closed her eyes while she pressed herself against him. "I do forgive you. I'm glad to see you too. I have missed you... too much." Her mind felt like melting. She said goodbye to wanting to hurt him as she didn't want to let him go. All kinds of emotions were dragging her in every direction possible. She wanted this to stop. Her senses needed to stop. One thing was for sure now that Rob was back things would go awkward. How was she supposed to explain this to Emily? Lately she hardly saw her lover and Leslie couldn't put away what was obviously still there for Rob. Damn blood bonds! |

Rob released her, his eyes locked on hers. "I can tell they are some troubled times. But now that I'm here, it is time to right some wrongs." He said. "It is a shame what happened with Nora and Sullivan. But we will push forward. The Camarilla will not be pushing us around anymore!" |

It felt good to be close to him again and Leslie knew he had to feel this too. What they had shared had been short but very powerful. In the short time they had been together her senses had been gone wild. He had been able to dig deep into Leslie's emotions, mind and heart. Now she had no idea what exactly she had to do or feel towards anyone. The girl stared in his eyes and smiled a little. "Some Camarilla aren't that bad Rob. I think politics are shifting. The tables have been turning constantly. I hear things but I don't know what to make of it all. I think for now it will be better to stay low and watch the scene unfold till answers get clearer." Her hand caressed his cheek and she bit her lower lip. My gosh she had missed him so much. Her gut feeling was normally pretty good but at that moment every common sense seemed to have disappeared. She didn'twant to hurt Emily but she didn't want to let go of Rob either. |

Some Camarilla aren't that bad. The words echoed in his mind. He wanted to believe that. He had met some on his travels that were amiable to him, some were even friendly. But almost all of them turned out the same way, with him being chased out of town. Camarilla just didn't like people like him and those that did like him liked the Camarilla structure much more. "I would like to believe that." Rob said. "Stay low and let things quietly shift. But that isn't my style, that isn't who I am. I never was the type to sit back and let things shift. If you want change to happen you need to force it in the way that you want it to go. I can't just sit back and wait." |

His words didn't come as a surprise. Rob had always been a true rebellious Anarch but what exactly did it mean being a true rebel and an Anarch? In the end all that mattered was surviving every night and find a safe place and good haven to sleep. She had achieved that with Emily, now they only had to survive every night. A small smile fell upon her face while she felt the warm glow of her loving thoughts warm her. Rob's presence shook her back to the present. "Rob... I know you and I know how London and everyone in it has changed. If you keep acting up you'll get in deep trouble." The Flemish girl sighed and kissed him long but gentle on his lips while her hand caressed his cheek. She then stood back and shrugged. "Take it easy for now, please? I'm not sure a second time losing you would do me good." she whispered. |
