Piscina nodded in affirmation. "I have seen the postings, and was present for the announcement. It usefully illuminates the Prince's stance on how outsiders are to be treated here." And had inspired her childe to try and become known and accepted. A dangerous plan, particularly given the 'sending contract killers' portion of the notice. The missive was, in addition to its other qualities, an effective announcement as to the presence of a Scourge in London. "As I mentioned briefly to Victory, it reflects interestingly on his intentions towards your Sect. Why do you ask?" |

"Yeah, sure does. Nice, eh? Makes me feel right at home and shows his love and all that. Fuck that. But that's the point of it all, ain't it?" Wouldn't be any Anarch hunts in the North if she could help it. And she worked on that, that was what counted. The Brujah kept her eyes on the Ravnos. Helped to ignore what was around, even if it wasn't real. Just look straight at her and don't look around too much. She tried to keep her thoughts on the subject. Focus! Ellen leaned back and put her hands together behind her neck. "I talk to people about that shit, see who doesn't mind and who does. I do, not hard to guess. So I try to get more people together who think like I do. What do I think?" She had to suppress the urge to spit on the floor. Not indoors, especially not in someone elses house! "I think Anarchs need to organize. Work together to keep what we have and kick the Prince's goons out if they come for us." So much for the easy shit. Now for the not-so-easy part. She exhaled audibly. Would either help or fuck shit up completely. But she needed to say it, she'd come this far already. "Now, me personally, I don't trust you or your people and I won't pretend we're best buddies. But Tory sent me to you because she trusts you and that's good enough for me." Bet Tory knows shit about gypsies and all that, but it doesn't matter now. If she'd drawn the wrath of the Ravnos, fuck that sucked, but things had to move, even if she had to take one for the team. "Anyway, figured you and others who aren't with anyone have as much to lose by that shit as we do, if not more. So I came to ask if you want to help us make sure the five boroughs stay free." |

"Part of the point, yes," Pisces allowed. "And yes. If the Anarchs do not organize, you will be gradually taken over by the Camarilla, either by seduction or force. That is true." In Pisces' mind, the Prince's current tactic qualified as 'seduction.' He had yet to employ force as far as she'd seen. The Lazaruss stunt, she firmly believed, was too stupid to be intentional. She didn't seem terribly surprised or offended by Ellen's blatant declaration of mistrust. A faint smile actually flickered over her face. A shooting star fell far off in the cosmos. "Interesting," she murmured. "And what sort of 'help' do you seek? Advice from age? Martial support? My influence over mortals? Do you want me to tell your fortune?" From her tone, that last option was probably a joke. |

Didn't think she'd have to point out who'd be next once the Anarchs'd been dealt with in the prince's ideal world. Gypsies were used to be in high demand with the Scourge. Ellen scratched the back of her head audibly. The sensation helped. But the Ravnos posed a good question. What did they want? What did Ellen want from her? Yeahhh, some dumbass rushed to the adress and didn't think it through thoroughly? Fuck yeah! Looked like this was the payback for that. Couldn't do much except see if she could come up with something that made sense. Didn't know much about Sherwood as such. Fuck, should've left that to Tory. She was confident that Tory knew Piscina better and knew a way to handle her. So yeah, improvise. "Dunno, most of that stuff sounds useful to me." Except the future telling. They didn't get their act together, they'd be in a world of shit, didn't need to be a fortune teller or fucking genius to see that. "Way I'm figuring it, works like this. We're getting all people together who don't want to get a surprise visit by the Prince's goons at some point. Includes Anarchs, but also unaffiliated. We pool our strengths and assets and see what we can do with it and how we can cover each others backs." Yeah, sounded like an awful pitch. Fuck. "So yeah, we just started, but I think we got a chance. Thing is, I'm sure you got some stuffs in Enfield. Influences, goons, perhaps investments, ain't none of my business. Dunno how quick you'd walk out on those once the fun starts. Guess I ain't much precise on this. Any of what I'm saying maing sense to you?" |

"Dunno, most of that stuff sounds useful to me." Piscina pursed her lips and looked at the other vampire. For a fleeting moment Ellen might have been reminded of a schoolteacher realizing the person she's speaking to hasn't done her homework. Her expression was more forebearing amusement than disappointment though. "Yes. You do make sense." She nodded. "You are suggesting that I formally ally myself with the Anarchs and that we work in concert to keep the territory we both inhabit secure. Please tell me first: How many other people do you have, what resources do you have already, and will you be seeking security through numbers, fear, obscurity, or mortality?" |

"At the moment we're six people who agree that something needs to happen. We'll discuss what needs to happen later, first thing on the list is what kind of Baron we want. The other things like security come later. Also the reason security and ressources haven't been declared. We need to know who's on board first and decide on how the show will work and be run. That's why I'm here. Thought you might be interested in becoming the seventh person. General meeting and council is the next thing on our list, y'know?" Another look over the scenery. That shit started to creep her out. Seriously, was getting more and more intimidating as time passed. "Also, would you mind changing the scenery? That'd be great!" |

"Six," Piscina repeated pensively, tapping her chin. "Not numbers, then. You probably want to go with mortality, what with this being London and all." She thought for a moment. A star fell in the distance, then she nodded at Ellen. "Your offer intrigues me, Ellen, and I will attend your meeting. But if you wish to secure me as an ally, I will have to conditions." But before she stated those conditions came Ellen's request. She smiled. "I would be pleased to do as you ask, but to ease the effort of such as task, I must ask you to do something in return. Please close your eyes." |

"As I said. Enough who don't give a shit. Fucking fair-weather anarchs and Cammie tourists." Yeah, came close to what she saw as the truth. It was either that or some fuckers who were so self-centred that they were just in for the benefits and none of the drawbacks. Bah! Whatever Sherwood meant with the mortality stuff, she didn't have a head to think about that at this point. Looked like she was aboard for now. Was something at least, one major goal fulfilled. Kinda, girl had conditions because why fucking not, but she was generally interested, so that was good. They'd see those conditions soon enough. What now, close her eyes? Fucking great! Saw the advantage not to see what happened, but still. The knowledge that she wouldn't see Piscina for a bit didn't calm her. "OK." The Brujah closed her eyes and waited what'd happen. Had left most of her valuables at home luckily! |

There was a rushing noise, like a great wind moving around Ellen. A sensation of movement. Falling, though her feet were still on the ground, body still in a chair. Then a noise like a closing door. When she opened her eyes she was in a dark room. The walls were black and strangely angled, like an attic. It was lit by lanterns suspended from the eaves, but brighter light leaked in from the hallway. The door Ellen had entered through was open again--a distant patch of normalcy. Piscina Sherwood was standing directly in front of her. "Know that I will only ally myself with the Anarchs as long as they are at peace with the Camarilla," she said, voice quiet and pleasant. "That is one of my conditions. And know that as long as I am so allied, I claim the right of council that my age affords me. Whoever you make Baron, be it man, woman, or conclave, he, she, or they will consult me on what decisions they make that affect this domain." She stepped to the side so that Ellen had a clear path to the exit, should she desire it. "Is there anything else you wish, Ellen?" |

"What Anarchs exactly? Our group of people who pull shit together? All people who call themselves Anarchs? Think I can say that we as a group like peace with the Cam. You know what they say about Germans, right? Nobody wants to play war with them if they ain't the ones who start it." Ellen thought that made an important point in what was about to come sooner or later. "Thing is, Princey and his goons probably see the Anarchs as a unified faction. One of the assholes thats not with us does something stupid, we're all gonna hang for it." Didn't make shit easier, but that's what it was to be an Anarch. And she felt she couldn't just do the Cammie thing and publicly declare there were two groups of anarchs now. Would help not to be held accountable for all sorts of shit, but it'd still feel like selling the others out to save their own hides. Assholes or not, she wouldn't do that if she didn't have to. But then, others had a fucking say in that too. Ah, fuck, that'd make shit a lot more fun in the future. But ti was future shit, couldn't say what'd happen just yet. Sherwood perhaps would've if she wasn't a charlatan. No fucking way to know that, though. "I'll ask about the council right. That ain't a thing I can decide on my own." New surroundings didn't do wonders to make her less nervous. Ellen suspected Piscina was creepy on purpose. Kinda worked. She looked around attentively and her tongue slid along her lower lip as she did. "Nah, guess that'll be all from me. You got anything else?" She didn't get up just yet. They'd be finished soon enough. |

"All Anarchs in these boroughs, Ellen," Piscina clarified patiently. "You must know if one of you, or a council, declares leadership and claims this as domain, they will be responsible in the eyes of the other Sects for all who claim Anarchy." Piscina arched an eyebrow. "Much as the Anarchs of this domain were quick to hold the Prince accountable for the actions of the infamous Sebastian. If you have not considered the difficulty your wayward brothers might present, I suggest you consider it now. A leader will be called upon to police them, or will not be respected as a leader for very long." While Ellen discarded the option of having two kinds of Anarchs, Piscina clearly did not consider it an option at all. She put her hands into the pockets of her skirt. "I look forward to hearing from you, Ellen." Guess that meant she didn't have anything else. |

Oh yeah great, they'd just claim surpreme leadership over all the 'Anarchs' who ran around somewhere out there. Wouldn't look like that other organization out there at all and what could possibly go wrong? Good to see someone tried to be really helpful here. She'd just compared the Anarchs to the most hierarchical and 'Do as I tell you' clan there was? No difference at all, there, huh? Arrogant cunt! Something twitched in her face, perhaps it was visible in the light, perhaps not. The Brujha didn't like to be compared to Cammies. Ellen got up a bit more quickly than intended. Part of her was glad to finally get out of here. "I'll send you a message." Not much more needed to be said and so she was out of the room quickly. Walked downstairs and through the bar room and made it outside. Sigh of relief came over her lips as familiar sights and streets surrounded her. She looked up, lots of clouds up there. Good thing! She walked away and picked up speed with time. That fucking room had uncomfortably reminded her of something she didn't like to dwell on if she could help it. Deep inside, she was still fucking scared of eternity. |

Piscina let out a sigh of relief as the tense woman departed. She walked back to her chair in the middle of the room and flopped into it. "Doesn't much like the truth, that one," she murmured. She waved a hand, and the room wavered and reformed into the galaxy as it had been before. "And doesn't much like illusions. Hard sort of a person to be." Piscina spent the rest of the evening drawing constellations. |
