THE MONSTER OF EALING
Last night, several people reported the sighting of a "screaming red monster" in a quiet neighbourhood of Ealing. After a power shortage in the area, a building caught fire. It was then when, what was described as a "man shaped, footless creature" emerged from the flames, leaping, running, and screaming. One woman has told our reporters that the man had "teeth like a wolf, and the face of the devil". Police officers are still trying to get to the bottom of this; neither the power shortage nor the fire have still been explained. A spokesperson from Scotland Yard has stated that the "so called monster" might be a wounded person, escaping the fire.

TRAGEDY IN TOOLEY STREET
The police has found the bodies of three TFL workers in the construction site at Tooley Street. One of their colleagues raised the alarms last week, when the three workers didn't attend their shifts. The bodies of the men have been found in a deep hole, uncovered by the refurbishment works that are taking place in the area. According to the Police, the bodies were horribly mutilated, which has led to the wildest speculations. The names of the three workers are being kept anonymous, following the wishes of their families.

Echoes from the past ring back into London. Their intensity increases until they are deafening. What once was a faded memory of a glorious time, now becomes a shocking reality. The consequences of actions taken decades ago ripple into the present, altering the lives of everybody in the City. Unguided and blind, Kindred wander around, trying to make profit out of the reigning chaos.


The appearance of four mysterious figures turned the city upside down. Mistrust and jealousy became the official currency of London. Serpents and fiends rise to power, misdirecting the blaming eyes of the Camarilla towards imaginary enemies. Only those with clear vision and the ability to trust each other strive, while the rest run towards a shallow grave.

I was just wondering if anyone has some exceptional reasons not to be on the same team with a Tremere (because "RawrAntiTremereFrenzyOfDoom!!!") or surprising desires to *be* on the same team - because it might affect the way that George puts the teams together ;-)

Max doesn´t mind having a Tremere in his team on such a mission. He would show a neutral face to this, so no aversion, but he also wouldn´t say he absolutely desires to be in the same team.

Knowledge the briefing yields

- The main purpose of the endeavour was to take out Sabbat havens, until new orders changed that and forced the plan to change, leaving only one haven on the priority list.

- According to the photos, the target building is a run-down abandoned asylum. located at the end of a row of abandoned warehouses, surrounded by a six feet high metal fence with metal spikes on top and the gate shut with chains and a padlock. A menagerie of fleshformed things is not proven, but expected.

- The target inside the building are: a Tzimisce who considers the building her domain, her mate, a Malkavian, both relatively recent embraces. Furthermore two ghouls, a former street gang member and a woman who has been turned into a man with alot of mindfuck thrown in... (Photos included)

- The primary target rarely leaves her home, the ghouls do all the tasks. Known weaponry of the ghouls are pistols and they have been seen with an M1 rifle, though they could have heavier weapons.

- The new orders require reconnaissaince in Redbridge and Havering for Sabbat activity, with focus on important landmarks. Also if there should be resistance, it has to be found out, if it's organized or 'just' splintered cells. Prisoners would be welcome.

(Then there would be the partition of the attendants into groups, preferrably three, two normal ones and the emergency reserve...)

and getting to know each other, is there any other thing we have most likely discussed before going to Redbridge? This includes both plans and, say, objects we haven't mentioned but we'd have realized to need if we had actually talked about it. If there are doubts or things to say I think we can do it here.

Okay, a few things that most likely got mentioned during the briefing:

- we have both to 'explore' Redbridge and to destroy the haven in the asylum. Now since there aren't many of us and we can't run all around Redbridge, this basically means we walk to the target while keeping our eyes open and explore if we notice something strange; if nothing happens we just go to the asylum;

- the fact we know little about the situation in Redbridge also means more enemies might appear to help those in the asylum... not that we can do much preemptively but we keep that in mind;

- we have communication devices; it would be good to attack the asylum together since it's no small target;

About the main target itself:

- around the asylum (possibly in the 'stables' out of the main building) there may be the aforementioned fleshcrafted menagery. Inside the asylum, ghouls and the two vamps. It would be good to get rid of the menagery to start with, since the Tzim would call them anyway when we attack him. Not sure if Leslie can use Animalism on them. IF she could take control of them, it would be awesome (but again I am not sure how it works);

- related to this, if someone of us has Dominate or Entrancement (Lessa, I am looking at you), it would be helpful to "influence" the ghouls so at best they help us, and at very least they don't fight us;

- possible plan A: we attack the stables and either kill or control the fleshcrafts; when the ghouls are sent out to see what happens (they are the ones who go out of the haven, aren't they?) Lessa does her part; then we enter the asylum, ideally having to fight only the Malk and the Tzim themselves (plan B: if something goes wrong we make up stuff on the spot).

These are a few things that must have been mentioned during our meeting. Of course I am waiting for George to give the "official" version.

Also, even though we aren't technically RPing the meeting, I think we can all write down some points we would have brought up at it.

Feral speech needs eyecontact, so difficult to control the inner beast of a fleshcrafted monstrosity, because due the pain they went through the inner beast might be pretty nuts.

Anyway, we have to take care, none of these beasts get out of the fence.

Tzimisce need to touch you to do their stuff, so could be good idea, to destroy his arms, if not killed immediately and Tzimisce can have something similar like Gangrel claws out of bones, not sure about the damage they can inflict, but be aware of it.

Since we are at it, Tzimisce can also have poisonous blood. Now if this one is actually young it's not likely she had developed that level of Vicissitude, at any rate given the choice I would rather not snack on a Tzim.

More importantly, it was already in the original notes but it's the kind of things one tends to forget when in the midst of the whole mess... Getting rid of two odd Sabbat guys is fine, but we especially need to understand what is going on among the enemy lines. So, we all have some stakes, let's try and make some prisoner if we have the chance.
