The first group had reached the roof from where they should start the advance into Redbridge according to the plan. At that point the two guards accompanying them withdrew and got on their way to their position. So there they were... Alone on a rooftop two blocks away from the hostile territory... |

Happily Leslie was able to get through without getting zapped like George had been. The cat felt a little annoyed by the grass. It was so high that only the tip of her tail gave away were she was when it was up in the air. Knee high grass was not good for her. She hadn't expected a nicely cut lawn or something but this was really bad. Luckily she could see, hear and smell enough. The others didn't need to see her really. This way she was more an element of surprise and she could take care of whatever small things that were hidding in the bushes. No one would expect a cat to come along with the other vampires. However she did stay close to George. He could probably feel her wrap around his legs every now and then but a purr wasn't to be heard. She was as silent as the mice she tended to hunt from time to time. Even as a cat she got bored and loved to find some prey willing to play. There was more than a mouse to be found here. She hoped she would be able to put her claws into something soon though. |

Ronnie felt how his feet contacted the tip of the fence a bit, but luckily he made it over the wall. ´Damn, that was close´ he thought. And now they were in an overgrown garden. They could use a flashlight to have a look, but maybe that wasn´t such a good idea, Max decided. But if someone was lurking here, they would have seen and heard them already anyway. But still...no need to show anybody where exactly they were now. "I suppose we simply approach the building?" Ronnie suggested in a low voice. No use standing around here. And if George didn´t stop him Ronnie would start approaching the building. |

The trees and bushes moved in the light breeze and betrayed no signs of anything out of the ordinary. But then, if the intel was right, this was a Tzimsices haven. Now that he thought about it, he knew that the Tzimisce could do very nasty things to living creatures... But no one had ever elaborated whether big trees or other plants were enough of a living creature to safely in- or exclude them from the little shop of fiendish horrors. As they were, they looked innocent. Too innocent ? Leslie indeed soon found somethng to play with when she started to move ahead of the group. She recognized something that caught her attention. A small reflection that she'd only been able to see due to her improved sight. It reminded her a bit of a small piece of metal, but it was too far away to make out details in the high grass about 30 feet in front of the small group. Max and Ronnie shared George's perception of the situation and couldn't see many details. But then... hadn't there been a quick movement at one of the windows ? What now ? |

George sighed as group two wasn't in his field of vision, not good but things were that way it seemed... If nothing came out of the house now, it'd be good... Quickly he typed a message to group two. 'Group one to group two: what are you doing at the moment ? Please report your status and proceed to the building if finished with that task for breaking in' Drawing the flare gun, he prepared himself to storm the building and take care of the inhabitants as soon as group two was finished with what they were doing. A lot of time where a lot of things could go wrong. He typed a message for his own group to make sure they knew the plan. 'Leader one to group one: Stand by and watch the building and surroundings for possible surprises. Wait for group two before getting into the building.' |

As the ginger cat proceeded through the grass she found her curiosity taking over. Whatever George was messaging to everyone was something she couldn't see. Had you ever seen a cat with a phone? The shiny object got stalked by the small form of the animal. The cat created unconsciously more and more distance between her and the men of her group. What was that thing? Most importantly what would she be able to do with it? It could be something important or not. Only one way to find out. And so she proceeded further towards the mysterious object. Her form low to the ground ready to attack anything that would surprise her. Her tail went down as well which now didn't give away where she exactly was as the tall grass was hiding her now completely. |

Ronnie heard a faint beep, obviously he had received a message. It was from George. After he had read the message he slowed down a bit and approached the house more carefully. He chose a spot where he could hide well and watch the house. He decided to stay there for now. Ronnie hoped that this bush wasn’t a carnivorous plant. You never knew. Tzimis might have such crazy things? Some Tzimis might even be specialised in growing big carnivorous plants that looked seemingly harmless. To be on the safe side he better didn’t get too close. And he got his dagger out, in case he might need it for defending himself against shoots that grew longer and wanted to get hold of him. Or maybe he had just read too many comics where such things happened. But he also kept looking behind him, he didn't want to get attacked from behind. Max approached the house slower than Ronnie. He kept an eye on the house, but also watched the surroundings. He thought he saw a movement at the window, but wasn’t quite sure. He also noticed that he had received a message and read it. The Brujah ducked behind a bush and stayed there, still watching the house, but he also kept an eye on the surroundings. |

Leslie indeed managed to find the weird thing that was hidden in the high grass. It was an oversized bear trap, chained to the ground and ready for being triggered. The construction was poor and decidedly improvised, but the steel teeth on the trap were without a doubt sharp as razors, perhaps a bit dulled by the rust on it, and there were several thick coils installed. They looked strong. Leslie didn't doubt that they could sever a leg easily. A bit in the distance, there was another feint metallic shimmer... And another one to the other side, barely visible through the grass. However, she was sure that they could be avoided if people were slow and advanced with exceptional care. The main building was still about 60 feet away as group 1 sought cover to wait for the others. Time they were more or less on a silver platter if the defenders knew what they were doing. Ronnie also realized he was very close to one of the beartraps as he looked around in his cover. A few more inches to the right and that would have been it... They advanced slowly as soon as group 2 moved into position and managed to get past the traps. leslie was able to warn them of a few wires that had been spanned a bit below ankle height. In the end, they found themselves at the front of the building. Several windows had been covered with wooden sheets and the door was closed too. Most of the indow covers looked weathered and wouldn't pose much of an obstacle, but then, it was not the covers that were dangerous... What now ? |

Once group two got out of the warehouse George used the opportunity when they were coming closer to the house to have a short, whispered talk with Franca about the things they found in the warehouse and how to proceed further. In the end they came to the conclusion it might be better to avoid breaking in the door and that they'd enter the building through a window, clearing out the ground floor before proceeding further. After separating again, he typed another message. 'We're getting in through the window on the right side, prepare for contact with our enemy...' He then went to that window carefully and would try to break it in order to enter the building... |

The cat watched the shiny object and hissed at it once it got into view. She looked at her own paws and then at the ferocious trap. That would snap her in half and seriously mangle the others but how to warn them? The small creature leaped over and around the objects and bumped her head against the other members of the quest. She could only try to lead them away from those things. Now it was obvious why the grass had been so tall. Nearly did she lose her tail when a trap snapped shut when someone had kicked against a branch and triggered the mechanism. It was like being a guiding cat for the blind. She focused on the shiny metal jaws and nudged the vampires into another direction. When she noticed George at the window she went to sit by his side and waited. |

Whas was that thing over there? Looked like some sort of beartrap. It would surely be painful to get his leg into one of those. They had approached closer to the house and managed to avoid the beartraps and wires luckily, mostly thanks to the cat. Another message...George wanted them to get into the house through a window. George was already at the window, breaking it. Ronnie still had his dagger his hand and approached the window, ready to get inside. Shortly afterwards Max turned up near the window, he also took a dagger out, prepared to fight against enemies who might be waiting for them inside the house. |

Well, now it gets serious and who knows what exactly awaits us inside... Time to find out ! Carefully George looked into the room, checking it for movements, signs of opposition or other... unpleasant surprises. Then he vaulted on the window sill and slid carefully into the room, carefully watching where he landed. Drawing his knife he waited what'd happen and for the others to arrive so that they could proceed... |

The Gangrel watched how George jumped in and waited for the others. She wasn't too fond of just jumping into the dark like that. Luckily her eyes gave her a good vision and so she jumped onto the windowsill and sat there staring into the darkness trying to see what was going on and whether something was sneaking around. She pushed her nose up in the air to see if she could detect something out of the ordinary in the air. At first all she noticed was a foul stench but maybe there was something hidden deeper behind the first layers of the scent. |

Leslie was almost overwhelmed by the foul odour of decomposition and dried blood that washed over her as soon as she attempted to sniff out the room. George, Ronnie and Max stood inside the big room and had a look around. In the dim and scarce light, they could make up a long table with chairs around it. Some of the chairs were strewn all over the room and dark figures and heaps were distributed all over the room. All in all, it would be about two dozen. The floor was slick and they needed to walk the tiles carefully if they didn't plan to slip and fall. Geerations of mummified insects littered the walls and floor and cobwebs were layered thickly in corners and under the ceiling. A broken double door marked a dark gaping maw in the wall opposite the window, but to get there, they'd have to cross the room and get past everything that was or wasn't lying in wait for them on the way. What now ? |

George looked at the mess this room was and he didn't like the chaos prevailing as the dark heaps, the chairs standing and lying around and the figures weren't really helpful in seeing if there were traps or dangers in there... With a displeased look he focused on the broken double door. With an internal sigh he made his way to the door slowly and carefully while signalling to Ronnie and Max to cover his rear. On the way he'd try to examine the heaps and figures if they were a threat or not. Leslie would warn them if she saw a threat and might be quite capable of being left to her own plan for now... |

The cat was still sitting on the window sill. Her nose up in the air but the smell made her shudder and the noise she made as if she was trying to hurl up a hairball could be hurt. Her sensitive nose was sending bad vibes through her small form. For a few moments she turned her ginger head and took a few sniffs of the air outside before jumping off the window sill and starting to look around the room. She kept close to the walls and kept her body low to the ground. Her paws were feeling the weird slippery tiles beneath her. This was so gross. She would have to shower and scrub so long after this. Her eyes were glowing and were fixed upon the heaps of... whatever it was. She walked slow and if any movement would come from the deadly silent looking heap of darkness she would mewl and shriek as loud as a cat could. |

What a filthy hole! That room was almost as bad as that muck trap in the cemetery. But at least here he didn´t have to be in stinky muck up to his ears. Even so Max was disgusted and avoided breathing. What were those dark figures and heaps? Decaying mortals that the Sabbatmembers had fed on? Max followed George, but walked very slowly. He really didn´t want to slip and fall here. Ronnie followed George, too, on the lookout if any of those figures might be Sabbaties ready to attack the intruders. He still had his dagger in his hand. |

The heaps turned out to be dead bodies, ling in small clusters, but some also completely on their own. Some of them had modification that looked like fleshcraft to georges eyes, some done proficiently, others much more crudely and without much regard for the material. Taking the time to examine more of them and also taking a closer look, he was able to piece together a picture that was disturbing indeed... Leslie also walked around between the bodies that litterd the floor. Various stages of decomposition, even mummification. None of those figures would ever move again from their own accord. From her lower position she also spotted the other things that were lying in many possible and impossible places. Cutlery, pieces of furniture, pieces of the most mundane things... But the dark stains indicated how there items had been made into weapons. The group reached the door, Max having fallen a bit behind as he had made a point to cross the room carefully. The double door received them without further ado. There was a long empty corridor waiting for them there with several wooden doors, two right, four left. The the corridor took a turn, right in front of another open door that revealed a staircase, leading up as well as down. Max was almost caught up to the group when he saw a feint metallic shimmer in frint of him, like a small object embedded in the floor. The others had another thing on their mind as they continued. What could make an entire room of people and/or ghouls slaughter themselves to the last living being ? And was that thing still in here ? |

George scratched his head looking at the bodies. It seemed like the poor souls had been either failed experiments or just forced to kill each other for amusement, though he couldn't say which possibility was more disturbing... Shaking his head to get the thought out of his head he moved on as there was a job to do... Thinking on what to do next he left the room and drawing his pistol went to the staircase to secure it and make sure there was no danger waiting for them, signalling the rest to stick together and not taking any unnecessary risks. At the staircase he took a careful look up and one down and in case he didn't see anything he'd close the door to focus on the other doors if not notified of anything not seeming right to the others. The small cat had huge problems in her mind. Such places reminded her of the first few months in the Sabbat. When you weren't yet accepted you were worse than the dirt on the ground. The things she had seen and had to do. Places like this had been cleaned by her more than once. The ginger hairs on her back stood up and her tail swayed down in sadness. She kept herself low to the ground and tried to keep all the memories at bay. They were too distracting at the moment. If she wasn't able to concentrate she would get herself in trouble and that was not good. If she failed this night she was in for a long talk with that Nosferatu Henderson. As far as Leslie knew he was the lapdog of the Prince and that made him equally as powerful and terrifying to her. The entire time she remained close to George so she could warn him when something didn't feel right. |
