The Irishman was dressed in his simple black button down, sleeves rolled. His stocky shouldered filled out the shirt well. His bare hands were dancing across the keys of the piano and sending beautiful music rolling into the air. Night of Bald Mountain was dancing out into the pub as the 5'7 Irish Gangrel hammered out the tunes and swayed back and forth on his bench, his green eyes half closed, a faint smile on his scarred face. The thumb thick scar traveling down the left side of his face from his temple to his jaw and given him a permanent tilt to his lips. He was in a simple pair of black slacks and a pair of black soft shoes, almost house slippers. The man was frozen forever at twenty, his features to soft to be rugged and to rough to be handsome, a simple man. His jaw was dusted with a light golden stubble and his long fingers were dancing across the keys like the classically trained concert pianist he was. Over one shoulder was the white rag he so often polished his bar with and wrapped about his waist was his folded down black apron. The golden boy was looking a bit paler than he used to, his tan faded. It brought out the intensity of his green eyes, making them seem deeper, his blond lashes darker against the pale skin. A smile danced across his lips as he played. He was having an enjoyable evening for the moment. |

Time to check some rumours he had heard at the Muse... The cab stopped in Enfield, not so far from the address he had gotten. The cabs door opened and a young man got out and payed the cabby then. The black car drove off and Tristan looked around. So this was Anarch Turf, well, looked like other places too, so far. He was wearing a darkgrey cargopant and an applegreen silkpullover with long sleeves and a v-neck, black canvas boatshoes and around his neck a tight leatherband with an oldfashioned key. His golden curls felt open down his shoulders and a smile curved his lips. His hands in his pockets, he walked along the street and then stopped by a door, watching it and finally pushing down the doorhandle and entered the house. First he heard the music and his smile grew. This kind of music was a surprise for sure, but no bad. He stepped in the room and saw the blonde guy at the piano playing Mussorgsky with closed eyes and passionate. The young Brujah sat down at the right side of the bar, closer to the piano, turning his seat a little to see the pianist, enjoying the the virtuosity of his play, Feeling the music do it's effect on him, moving his inner strings, touching his soul, like all music did to him. Especially when played with passion. And even more, when the player was quite attractiv. When the last delicat sound ended, Tristan clapped his hands for an applause. Bravo! Wonderful play! His smile lighted his face and his goldenbrown eyes sparkled in pure joy. |

He'd heard the beep of the door buzzer going off but he hadn't wanted to finish his song early, so he'd continued to play. The man let his long nimble fingers drift to a close and grinned when he heard the compliment. He turned and put a hand on his stomach, giving a mock bow as he rose from the bench. His green eyes sparkled as he rose and walked over to Tristan, offering a hand, his voice a soft tenor Irish brogue. "Well, thank ye kindly good Sir. The name is Lynx. I'm the tapster around this fair establishment when young Miss Reggie isn't working the bar in me stead. I appreciate the praise. Iffen yer here te see Ms Sherwood she's upstairs in room 2B, iffen yer here fer a drink then Miss Reggie can help ye out. She's working the bar tenight so I can test her steps." Lynx nodded politely to the young woman behind the bar but kept his focus on Tristan, he looked him over with a rover's eye. Lynx hadn't been dead long and while he found that blood had an intoxicating quality to it, he also couldn't bring himself to hunt. He'd never actually bitten anyone yet. Jason hadn't forced the issue, being more focused on making sure Lynx understood the rules of their dark world before he shipped for Norway. So as yet Lynx had fed solely from the stock he kept behind the bar and the stock he kept hidden away in his cellar at home. He supposed that made him something of a failure, as vampires went. It wasn't that he didn't WANT to bite, he just hadn't gotten around to it. Running the club came first after all. |

Veronicka was rather busy this evening. She had spent the most of the past couple of nights advertising for her big gala charity event she was holding. It was the first thing she had really been excited about in days with Jason's recent departure from her reach once again. It was how she kept her mind off of it really. Charity was one of her favorite things, and the cause was something she did care for even if she wasn't one to practice it. Veronicka made her way into the club with a small smile on her lips. Tonight, like most nights, she was wearing a rich white dress. The kind most girls dreamed of affording sometime in their meager lives. The kind of dress that movie stars couldn't even afford. Such was Veronicka's wealth. She had decided to go dress shopping. She had to look her best for the Masquerade she was holding and this was one of the little dresses she picked up. It hadn't quite made the cut to be the dress for that evening, but it was rich and lavish in its own right. With a handful of flyers she made her walked in the door. She spared a quick glance around and was pleased to see Lynx over by the piano. She had missed him playing, but he would likely play again this evening. He had a way with the piano. The real reason behind her visit was actually to see Lynx. Veronicka took requests from Jason seriously and so here she was, once again checking up on Lynx. There was a stranger at the bar as well. A fella she wasn't familiar with herself. Maybe he would like a flyer? She would not intrude upon a conversation though. |

Tristan returned the bow with a wide grin, showing his dimples and making his brandy eyes glitter. He took the hand of the pianoplayer for a firm handshake. When the Irish introduced the Barkeeper, he politely nodded to her and then answered with his mellow bariton voice and his decent german accent. Nice to meet you Lynx and a great pleasure to hear your play. I'm Tristan and I came here for a drink indeed. Hello Miss Reggie then too. These green eyes had some magic and Tristan felt his conqueror instinct , when looking in the blonde mans eyes. Your play sounded wonderful, I assume, you didn't learn it round the corner. Did you attend some conservatory? I'm a musician myself, that's why I'm asking. For a second his gaze went over to the whitedressed girl, that just came in, then he was back with the Irish, offering him to sit right next to him. The guy was quite a bit smaller than himself, and he had some bad scars, but it didn't change anything, to be attractiv. Tristan reflected about the mans possible Clan. Anyway, what Clan, he was an Anarch most likely, maybe better not to discuss any Camarilla stuff, like Prince and such ilk.. as if he had the intent to do so. For sure he had some far better ideas to spend his time with this golden boy. |

"Thank ye. In fact I was offered a spot at Julliard in New York City. I turned them down though. I didn't want me playing te become a robotic thing. All form and no heart. So I set meself te learning on me own. I started playing when I was a lad o'five. I was playing concert level by the time I was a lad o'ten." He flashed a smile and ran his thumb across the back of Tristan's knuckles. Some habits he hadn't broken himself of. He hadn't had sex since he became a vampire. He knew, in theory, that he still could. But it wasn't something he'd explored yet. Just as he hadn't actually hunted and fed from a mortal yet. Contenting himself with the bagged blood of his bar. Perhaps he was to meek and squeamish to live this life. "This is Miss Veronicka Veselovsky. She's a friend o'the establishment. Veronicka, it's a pleasure te see ye again. Welcome te the club. This is Tristan, he's a newcomer te the place." Lynx grinned with a bit of his old charisma, a flash of Irish charm. He was happy to see Veronicka. She understood him on a level a lot did not. While her bonds to Jason hadn't been forged by blood, they were perhaps far more honest in that they'd been forged with old fashioned love and high regard. So his green eyes sparkled as he introduced the two. He slipped into the stool next to Tristan at the man's urging and looked back and forth between the two. |

Veronicka was happy to see Lynx in higher spirits than she had expected. The new faces around the bar did little to alarm Veronicka. She was a social creature by trade. Maybe not as social as a Toreador, but her businesses demanded a certain level of sociability. She viewed the exchange between the two gentlemen with more than a small smile. Perhaps she was going to be advertising in the perfect place for her Masquerade. It wouldn't hurt to have a few Kindred among the many who would be attending the event. By their very nature Kindred tended to have deeper pockets than Kine. Maybe it was age alone that made that distinction. Regardless, deeper pockets meant her fundraiser would be more successful. She hadn't publicized the fact that she was matching each donation made to the charity pound for pound, but she was considering it. She smiled to Lynx appreciating the introduction. He hadn't murdered her unusual name either, which was quite delightful and surprising coming from the Irishman. "You are too kind Mr. O'Rourke," Veronicka greeted before turning to Tristan and offering him a small curtsy, "It is a pleasure to meet you Tristan. You may call me V if it rolls of the tongue easier. I am afraid Mr. O'Rourke is the first one in a long time to speak my name without making a mockery of it." Her English was good, but very heavy with a Russian accent. If her name didn't given away her heritage, her speech surely had. Veronicka held out her hand in a more traditional modern day gesture of greeting towards Tristan. |

The young Brujah got off his seat, when the white Lady introduced herself. He returned a polite bow to her curtsy and smiled, taking her hand. Tristan Gersdorff, pleasure to meet you too Veronicka. I will try my best, not to harm your name. His honeybrown eyes had an impish glitter, when he sat back on his chair, then his gaze went back to Lynx and he whistled through his teeth. Julliard... damn... I'm afraid I can't match up to this, I attended only the academy of Music at Cologne. He sent a high-spirited wink to Lynx and the tip of his tongue slid along his pearly whites. His speech gave away, he was German, the accent wasn't too hard and for sure also mixed with another, but the English was rather fluent. He threw some of his unruly ,curly strands back over his shoulder and smiled to Lynx again. This is really a splendid place Lynx, I sure will return many times as long as I'm in London. His eyes were gleaming and for sure he planned to come back, not only for a drink... Then he turned back to Veronicka with a smile and he got up from his seat again. Maybe you like to take my seat, Veronicka, then I sit on the other side of dear Lynx, so we can talk all together more comfortable. With this he stepped around Lynx's seat and sat down there, touching his shoulder slightly, like by accident and with a beaming smirk. |

"Ah well yer name isn't that hard Veronicka. Jest takes a bit o'practice is all. Me own Irish brogue doesn't make anything easier I'm afraid." He grins in amusement and shrugs. His eyes looking from Veronicka to Tristan. His green eyes sparkling with good cheer, though there was a pain lurking there in the depths for those who knew him. He was doing his best to live through the agony of being separated from his blood bound master, and it did cost him a bit. "Ah Tristan I'm sure yer every bit as good as I am. I hope ye feel like bringing yer instruments back if ye return. I'm always willing te listen te a musician who feels strongly about what they're doing. And Cologne is not a place te sneeze at, from what I've heard." The Irishman grinned and turned his gaze to watch Veronicka and Tristan as they shifted positions. He was pretty sure the long haired vampire was hitting on him, and he wasn't entirely opposed to the idea. He was curious to see how Veronicka would react to it. He wanted to do his best to maintain a neutral place for his guests and he didn't want to alienate anyone by showing a sign of favoritism. He merely chuckled in warm amusement and kept his gaze friendly. |

"You are too kind," Veronicka replied with a smile as Tristan shifted positions. She didn't pretend to know very much about the music they spoke of, but she wasn't entirely ignorant. She was also not the expert at reading body language, but being a business woman she picked up on the subtle nuances being exchanged between the two gentlemen. Indeed, this was the perfect place to advertise her function it would seem. Veronicka situated herself quietly in the seat and placed the flyers she was holding onto the bar. It wasn't the most subtle gesture, but hopefully it would ease the minds of the two gentlemen present. She was not the jealous sort in the least and same sex relationships, if that was indeed what she was seeing, were among the many things she supported. She slid the two pamphlets across the bar. The first to Tristan and the second to Lynx. "I am hosting a Masquerade charity gala advocating gender and sexual equality this coming Wednesday," Veronicka stated, "You are both more than welcome to attend and bring any guests you would like. All money which is exchanged at the event goes straight to charity." pamphlet

When Lynx mentioned to bring his Instrument next time, Tristan laughed and with a swift move he pulled his drumsticks out of a pocket of his cargos. He let them twirl around his fingers with a wide grin. See, my instruments tend to be a little unwieldy. I'm a drummer and the second choice is just slightly better, it's a cello. The drumsticks disappeared as fast in his pocket as they were out. And by the way, the cello isn't more than a hobby, so it better stays at home. The Brujah chuckled and looked at the flyer, Veronicka provided to them. He thanked the young woman and read it. Tiësto... wow! Wednesday is pretty short for to find a nice costume, any suggestions, where to find the best ones? Tristan leaned back and looked from Veronicka to Lynx and back. His eyes glittered along with his bright smile. The outlook for a good party was always intriguing. Fun, food and maybe some new contacts, wouldn't hurt to go there and see what's good. Also the theme of the party promised good prey, not only food-like. Usually he would love to aask Peter to accompany him, but at the moment, this seemed no option. That's really a lovely idea, Veronicka! Is it needed to place any reservation? |

Lynx chuckled at Tristan's display of the drum sticks and nodded. That would be a bit hard to carry around. Though there had been some good progress made in electronic drum pads for travel. They were still pretty bulky. Then again the keyboard he carried around when he played on street corners weighed a hundred pounds. So a piano wasn't that much easier to carry about. "Heh, I hear ye. Me keyboard weighs a hundred pounds, so I know what it's like te have a heft instrument." The Irishman winked a green eye and considered the fact that the man also played the cello. Well, he was learning the violin, gradually. So he could understand being a bit hesitant to want to play a musical instrument he hadn't mastered in front of an audience. He turned to regard the pamphlet that Veronicka handed over and considered it. He had a couple of interesting costumes thanks to Yuki. Going out to a party, well, that could be a lot of fun. He didn't think he'd been to a party since that 4th of July bash the Americans had thrown at the Darkly Decadent a long while ago. So he tapped the pamphlet on his palm and grinned. "Well this looks interesting Veronicka! I'll be sure te bring me check book te provide a decent donation. Is this a full costume party er just the masks then?" He hadn't actually been to a full blown costume ball before. He'd seen them in the movies of course. In some they were just people in business suits with domino masks. In others they had long elaborate costumes. So he was quite curious to see which this would be. Goodness knows he had some very nice suits. |

Veronicka smiled at the further exchanges between the two. She hoped her lessons guided the Irishman to many more fun tumbles in the bedroom. She might even stop by once or twice herself down the line. The Torchwood wasn't lying, he did have quite an 'instrument.' "Tiësto, indeed. I spared no expense. I am sorry Tristan, but I am new to London," Veronicka said offering an embarrassed smile. The gala had been a sudden idea. Just something else to take her mind off of Jason leaving again. She needed something more to bring her mood up. "I would consult with our resident Irishman for costume shops." Veronicka offered a smile at Lynx, "Of course it is a full costume party. Don't you know October is coming?" Veronicka offered a cheery smile. "Besides, costume parties tend to bring in more regulars and the more who donate the better." She had of course paid for the entire event out of pocket. Every pound passed around at the gala was indeed going straight to charity. |

Of course, I could bring the electronic drums, maybe if you ever do some jam session, I'm your man! Just the pads never sound as good as real drums, that's a pity. His bright gaze went back ti Veronicka and he laughed cheery. No need for sorry, dear! I'm rather new too, only here for less than two weeks and still exploring and it seems today I found something really nice! Tristans brandy eyes gleamed quite lewd, when his look went over Lynx. His hand though made a gesture, including the whole place. Obviously, he wasn't too shy about his preferences and usually he didn't spend much thoughts of, what other people might think of it. Worse than his parents it couldn't be. If you know a nice costume shop, I'd appreciate your help, Lynx. Or maybe I just run to find a fig tree and get some leafs. Another impish wink to the Irish and a merry smile towards Veronicka. Guess, that's a hell of work to pull up a ball in short time. How did you manage that? And maybe you got some tips for me, to find serious working organizations to donate money too? Could be a nice idea, if jamming somewhere, to collect money for charity needs. The Brujah was totally serious about this idea, no doubt about that. Maybe this was one more point to look after, when building up connections in the city. Doing good and also building a good reputation. |

"Full costume, well. I've got a few at home that should work out well. Advantage of having dated a cosplayer." He chuckled as he considered the odd costumes Yuki had made for him. There was the entire purple suit that she'd made when she wanted him to be a sort of Joker. There was the plague doctor tuxedo, a few others. He had some odds and ends, there was definitely potential there. "I think there's a good costume shop in Soho. They tend te have the artsy areas around there. I'm not an expert but I think that's where ye'd find them. Or perhaps the Camden Market area. And if ye want te bring yer drums around te play some time, don't be shy about it. I won't turn ye away." He grinned with pleasure at the thought that someone was enjoying his club. He'd based it off the descriptions of the gentleman's club from Around the World in 80 Days. A recreation area, a reading library, private offices. He didn't think anyone had actually gone up to the library upstairs, aside from him. Him and the asshole who had started that fire. Still that's why he'd had the halon system installed. Now fires would be smothered by gas and he wouldn't have to replace his entire library. Again. Lynx grinned at Tristan and reached a hand to stroke the man's thigh in response to his flirtatious grin. It had been a long while since he had been with a man. He was still more than human enough to feel passion and desires, and the long haired fellow was handsome enough. If he wanted a tryst the Irishman wouldn't say no. Then again Lynx rarely said no to anyone. Perhaps he had issues in that area. |

Veronicka pondered attending such a musical if the two ever decided to get together and play. She wasn't a true musician herself, but she could play the piano well enough to pass. Her tastes in music was very Russian though and she doubted that the two could play to that particular palette. In fact she was now playing Katjusha in her head. She would have to borrow Lynx's keyboard later to play the tune for herself. Returning her attention to the males present she returned Tristan's charming smile. It was nice to see Lynx getting along with someone so soon after the recent events which had befallen him. She certainly hoped that this Tristan was as durable as she was though, or that Lynx could play the gentle partner if he needed to. "It can be, but I felt the need to partake in some charity work," Veroncika replied with her thick Russian accent, "Throw around enough money and things start moving pretty quickly." She had actually pushed around a few million to get the event going. All the advertising, planning, caterers, and what not. It was a massive sum of money that was suddenly pumped into the London economy to get the ball rolling. She had actually dropped a million just on getting Tiësto to come play on such short notice, but she wasn't one to talk money. In the end the publicity alone would bounce her funds back to her and the amount that she expected the charity to receive was staggering as well. Already, numerous celebrities had RSVP'd pledging staggering amounts. Some of her richer admirers were even donating despite not being able to make it. Charity was one of Veronicka's greatest games, "I know of many charities who are always in need of donations. I am a bit of an expert in that area actually. I run several myself. If you have a particular charity you would enjoy donating to just let me know and I can point you in the direction of the most needy." Veronicka's wide smile was very authentic. She absolutely adored people who were charitable. Just like that she had mentally marked Tristan down as a great friend in her book, a fact that wouldn't change despite him being Camarilla should she ever learn that. |

Tristans hand softly lay on the Irish mans, when he stroked his thigh and another deep gaze in his green eyes. Okay, I will have a look at Soho, I think Camden is not quite the area, where I want to hang around... Then he nodded to Veronicka with another cheerful smile. Oh yes... money opens a lot of doors, that's true. Always good to see, if people who are more lucky than others at least spend their money to do good things with it. The Brujah pulled out his Smartphone and smiling to Veronicka again. I think, my ideas are a bit smaller than yours, but so far I go with the quote "any Cent helps". If you don't mind to pass my your number, then I can come back on your offer. Finally Tristan turned to Lynx with a slightly lecherous sound in his warm voice. Maybe you pass me your number too, handsome, then we can meet for to play some music, or whatever you like... And as if this wasn't obvious enough, the young Brujah shot him a wink and an adventurous smile with the words. Sometimes he just couldn't stand it to be temperate. These green eyes just did their magic on him, so why holding back and act like a shy virgin? Was just not his thing, even with the risk to poke his head sometimes. No risk, no fun! |

"Find me a charity that supports bringing music to poverty areas and I'm all in Veronicka. I'll do me best te help out." Because he didn't mind helping out himself. He also enjoyed spreading music. He considered that. He could easily help fund a conservatory or something here in London. Find an area nearby and help support the local music scene. Though he wasn't sure he'd want to draw attention to himself. At some point it was going to become clear that there was something wrong with the Lord Torchwood and the fact that he didn't age. Granted he was only twenty-one. So he had a while before people started making marked comments on how "well preserved" he was. From what he'd seen of his father's photos the man had looked quite young well into his forties. So at least those who knew his dad would put it down to genetics. They didn't realize his old man had been a Ventrue ghoul by then. Oh well. Lynx grinned at Tristan's bold request and he did indeed give up his number, and since the long haired man was willing to lay a hand across his where it rested he didn't hesitate to slide his hand up Tristan's thigh and make his willingness to do more than make music with the man clear. After all, he didn't mind if they had an audience and Veronicka didn't seem to give a damn. For all he knew Tristan swung both ways the way he did and they could retire to a conference room and enjoy the variety of leather couches. His green eyes sparkled in amusement at that. Maybe his life wasn't so dark as he'd been painting it to be. He could throw himself into a life of hedonism if it meant the pain lessened for a time. He chuckled warmly. "I'd gladly make music with ye Tristan." He gave the man a playful squeeze and returned the wink with an amused smile before sliding his hand back down to his knee. He didn't want to alienate Veronicka with his playfulness after all. So he looked over at the pale woman. "Do ye think ye'll get a good turn out fer yer party then?" |

Veronicka nodded towards Tristan giving him her personal number. It was always nice to have a few local friends. So far it had only been Lynx with Jason and CJ out of the country, but now she could count Tristan as her second friend in London. At least, since the mysterious Mr. Gar had seemingly vanished to wherever he had come from. "Every cent does help," Veronicka agreed cheerfully. She understood not everyone had the means to donate to charity, but it always touched her heart to see those who didn't have much donating anyways. She was a self made multi-billionaire. She had grown up a poor Cossack. She was not a naive rich girl who didn't know what things were like on the lower rungs of society. Maybe that explained her eagerness to donate to a degree. At least the public seemed to think so. If they only knew her dirty little secret. She watched with mild interest as the two males exchanged sexual advances. It didn't disturb her or alienate her in the slightest. She had never bothered to see two men get it on, but she definitely didn't know Tristan well enough to put herself in a position that could be publicly disastrous. Leave that to Kim Kardashian. "Oh indeed," Veronicka answered with a smile, "We are already expecting hundreds of attendees. Since we are friends and I believe we can trust Tristan to be discreet I will give you a hint at a few who have reserved places in the VIP lounges. Troian Bellisario, Simon Pegg, Forest Whitaker, Douglas Booth, Gregg Sulkin, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Felicia Day, James Van Der Beek, and of course Emma Watson. It was actually her recent speech which so inspired me to host the fundraiser. I am not sure how long they will be around, but just think that behind any of those masks could be quite the celebrity. My organizers also tell me that were are expecting hundreds of locals to turn out as well. It should be quite the entertaining event." |

When Lynx confirmed on making music and let his hand and eyes confirm more, Tristan bit his lower lip with a lewd grin again, trying hard to keep his lose mouth in control, regarding the Lady sitting with them. Focussing his naughty thoughts back to another level again, he answered to Lynx offer towards Veronicka, too. Yeah, let me know too, I used to give drum lessons back in Germany, when I still... errm... before I was... as a Mortal I mean. Sometimes it bothered him ridiculously to speak about his mortal days... and of course, the both could count on one hand, he still was rather young as a Kindred. He smiled to Veronicka, when she mentioned to trust him. This was really a nice compliment in a their dark world where no one seemed to trust anyone. From the names, she mentioned, he didn't know too many, just some actors. Simon Pegg must be the guy from StarTrek and Forest Whitaker... wasn't that the guy from some criminal series Peter loved to see? This would be become an interesting night, maybe drinking some... VIP blood? Would be a special fun indeed. His goldenbrown eyes glittered in this amusing thought. |
