The young Gangrel was skipping around the second floor of the club. She was a regular customer there and perhaps even more than that. It was her safe haven. Sort of the headquarters of the Anarchs and showed they weren't all the unsophisticated bunch of brawlers most thought Anarchs were and should be. The Hospitality club had a certain degree of cosy business and an old loungy men's club. Leslie loved the vibe that rolled through the entire place. She had been cleaning up some books while pondering. She was losing all hope she would ever see her lover again. Maybe she was dust already. The past weeks had been crazy but the past nights had been slower. She decided to go downstairs and see what sort of crowd had found their way to the club this night. From the bar one could have a view upon the stairs. A slow clicking sound came from the wooden stairs. Crimson red high heels suddenly came in sight of the people downstairs or at least for those who were watching the stairs. After those shoes bare shiny legs became visible. They ended under a pair of shorts. She had cut out a small part at the back so her bunny tail on her perky ass could pop out of her shorts. Here in the club she was safe. It was a Masquerade free zone. Just to be sure she was wearing a T-shirt with two bunnies on it and the words "I like it bunny style!" written under it. Her T-shirt was wrapped tightly around her upper body and was tucked away in her shorts so all the other frenzy marks were hidden. Around her hips was a pink belt to decorate her shorts and to draw attention to the swaying motion when she walked around. The last few steps down she took in a quicker and more bouncing way of steps. Her loose dark hair hopped up and down on her cheerful skipping steps. She let her chocolate brown gaze wander around the bar and the room. Her gaze fell upon a tall man. Clearly a new guy but to be sure she had to get closer to take in his scent. So the pretty girl simply strode around the room greeting some people and slowly getting closer to the new guy. She even pased him a few times while giving him a few smiling stares. |

"You'll never make that shot!" she giggled at the guy who was trying to shoot a ball in a corner pocket. And indeed he missed. He gave Leslie a low chuckle and continued his game while she walked away. However the moment she turned around she nearly bumped against the tall man from the bar. A hat was in his hand. It was the first thing she noticed before she froze on the spot when she looked up and got stuck in his eyes. A delightful pair of blue eyes twinkling at her while he recited a poem or a part of a poem. It was unknown to her but she liked what it implied. Her lips curled up in a smile and she nodded at him as a greeting. The sound of freedom and nature made her feel warm. It sounded like the perfect setting for a Gangrel like her. "Lovely. Sounds like a little piece if heaven those words described" The Flemish girl walked by him and looked over her shoulder wondering whether he would follow her to the bar where they could sit further away from the people loudly playing pool. Every now and then it happened there were some louder people around. A ghoul letting off steam. A blood doll searching to become snack of the evening. Anyone in this place was either Kindred or connected to one and that made Leslie feel at ease. |

While she hopped on her bar stool she kept her gaze upon the newcomer. Only for a brief moment she closed her eyes to wriggle her nose while she took in his scent. Her sensitive nose told her enough about him. Not a Gangrel. Very recent to London. Why was he here? For a moment she seemed in trance until she looked up at him again. "Now what gave away I'm a Gangrel?" she said with a laughter that could warm a heart perhaps even an undead one. Of course she knew how he had picked up on it. For the trained eye it was obvious her bunny tail was not a costume piece."The city has its charms but it is hard to deny the call of nature. I wouldn't mind a few nights in such a place like your poem. In solitude or..." she raised her foot to cross her right leg over her left and briefly the tip of her foot brushed against his leg by accident (?). "... Or with some lovely company to enjoy nature with." Rabble? Brujah. Typical. She thought with a smile but she liked tha Brujah. The were pretty straight forward. They either like you or hit you. "I'm Leslie. The local kitty cat. I sneak around. Love to listen to the birds and other animals with information that could be interesting. I'm just an innocent little stray that wandered in here a while ago." His list of skills was remarkable. A bomber might sound interesting but with all the attacks on London lately it might not be a good thing that certain people heard about this. Especially not the Prince. Leslie shivered shortly when a reminder of her meeting with the Ventrue came to mind. She had foolishly thought the Anarch concession would have been a good thing but all the Prince wanted was an official record of his hidden enemies. But she could use it in her advantage as she could wander Camland as much as she wanted without fear. "I would be careful with who you share all that information. London has been cracking under pressure of attacks. You could walk into the sigh of people you rather don't want to meet. Though you.. well, I mean it all sounds interesting." |

Blue eyes got fixated upon her while he spoke. She felt the pressure of his leg pushing back against her teasing foot and she couldn't help but to smile a bit more. "I'm good at listening. Amongst other things." she giggled and let her eyes wander the room before finding those blue pearls of Sam again. "You have no idea how wild the life can be here." For a few minutes she thought about the attacks. She couldn't believe there were Kindred who wanted to be around this place right now. But apparently Sam had found a way to perhaps get some money out of it. "Good luck with the Prince." was all she said with a small cold tone hiding in her words. The Camarilla liked no one outside of the Cam. They pushed more knives in each other's back than anyone else. It quickly melted and she became sweeter again. "I'm just a girl looking for some fun. Nothing much. What you see is what you might get." |

"Interesting indeed." she said with an impish smile. The Gangrel shifted in her seat and turned her body towards him while leaning one arm on the bar. Her fingertips in close distance of his hand but instant of touching him she was tapping them on the surface of the bar. The way she was sitting now he could only see her front and his eyes wouldn't get distracted by her bunny mark anymore. Even though it might seem interesting it was also a reminder of her losing control and so much more that night. "I know quite some places. Epping Forest in Enfield is very nice. You can find me there. Or in Sutton, Beddington Park but that's Camland. Luckily even them Capes are scared enough not to venture too deep in those woods. Rumour has it that there are Lupines there." She grinned mysteriously. She knew their scent and that they were there but she wasn't foolish and she wouldn't go actively look for them. If she left them alone, they would leave her to her business. "So even rabble like you might need someone to have your back and to guide you around the wild parts of town." It was obvious she was having fun and that she choose the way of pronouncing her words carefully. "That's a nice salary. Hope you get lucky here in London as well." |

With a small flutter of her eyelashes she shook her head. "I don't need a drink but have what you like. They have lovely drinks here." Leslie was odd when it came to drinks. Even though they had drinks adapted to vampire tastes she wasn't fond on taking something. Maybe it was paranoia but she liked knowing what she was drinking and from the source. Also it always tasted better warm and while holding that human. To feel the heart beat from the one she was feeding off replaced her own absent beating in her chest. Now he started to ask questions she didn't like. She frowned and watched how a shadow haunted his face before lighting up again. Of course... no one in this dark world was ever completely free from painful reveries ad ghosts of christmas past. "Yes. The Night Tripper. The old Baron resided there. She was a great woman but left London a while ago. I have many fond memories and not so fond ones from the place." The Sabbat was an old wound he was poking in. Her smile lessened but she remained sweet in her speech. "They must be hiding somewhere but I don't know where. And I don't mind them being gone. Maybe they have sunken in the ground." she shrugged and he had managed to make her feel a little sad. |

Her eyes narrowed at the cigarette but she nodded nonetheless. It would be odd if a bunch of vampires had to stand aside to smoke. And it was a gentleman's club so to say so it was allowed to smoke in there. "You can have your smoke in here." Her nose wriggled though. It was pretty sensitive and so the smell was always more annoying to her then to others. But some good tobacco could really smell good if one used the right herbs such as sage and a bit of mint. "Happy endings aren't always assured but sure tell me something more about yourself and I'll see what I can share with you about me. Give me a secret and you can ask me anything." Her eyes twinkled in delight and her somber mood began to cheer up again. The playful vibe she was known for, maybe even famous for, was growing with each passing moment. |

The scent wasn't too strong. It was actually quite soft and quite enjoyable for her nose. She watched how the smoke dwindled up in the air and created patterns that reflected the lights in an almost hypnotic way. A bit like small clouds but then inside a room. She listened to his short story and tilted her head to the side in a curious matter. "I thought there was a happy ending?" she asked with a small smile. What haunted her? So many things but she could keep them at bay by smiling and trying to find happiness. "My past, my present and my future. I hate not being able to have certain things in control and the moment something seems genuine it slips through my fingers like I'm trying to hold onto water." The cheerful and impish bubble she had going on suddenly seemed to extinguish but she kept her smile on her pouted lips. |

"True, you saved her in some way but being a ghoul takes its toll as well." There was no mistake Leslie was comfortable in being a vampire but she missed so much. Solid food, the warmth of the sun, the beating of her heart and how that beating changed with every sensation. "Thank you. I'll be fine. I always am. A cat has nine lives and always lands on its feet. So do I so no worries there kind stranger." she said with a wink while her tongue traced her lips. With a nod she had to admit that those were wise words. "Your father sounded like a wise man. If only more saw the world like that." Again she let her foot playfully slide against his leg while she pretended to straighten herself in her seat. |

What he said seemed always to be the exact amount of words. Short and sweet. There was something casual swirling around him. Perhaps she was trying to hard to see something in him. The Anarchs were slowly getting dormant now with the threat of Sabbat gone. Sadly the Prince was somewhere trying to find a way into the Anarchs. Why else would he have the Concession thing going on? Leslie didn't complain though she had seen the advantage of it and taken it but the coin always has two sides. She hoped it wouldn't come back to bite her in the ass. Anyway what he said seemed a little too old for her to understand as well. "The new guy test? Hm, I'm still not sure about that. Depends on what you think I should examine more closely." It sounded so wrong how he spoke of the test but she did giggle and pushed a small amount of vitae to her cheeks to imply a blush on her face. It made her look so much more innocent and human just like the young lost teenager she was supposed to be. "Besides I'm sure you have better things to do with those hands seeing as they are used to fumble with ticking time bombs." She smiled sweetly maybe even too sweet. The young one loved to play and loved to flirt but that didn't mean anything would come from it. Love games with Kindred were difficult and she still felt that loyal pang in her dead heart for her lost Emily even with the blood bond now slowly disappearing; The Malkavian woman had been a huge part of her nightly life. Besides Leslie loved to be swooned like in the movies and the fairy tales. Some pretty blue eyes and a good looking face didn't do the trick to lay her down that easily. |

With little courage she looked at his hands. To be honest even though he spoke kindly and felt familiar in how his attitude was towards her she did know that those hands could hurt her... badly! Big hands fueled by the Disciplines his blood had given him were a dangerous thing to behold. With a giggle she spoke again. "Isn't there some saying about guys with big hands?" She cheekily asked him while she gave him the most innocent smile she could muster. He spoke with a smart vibe around him. He was educated. That much was sure. Leslie however had been a rebel child when she was still alive and while she did have her regular smart ass spoiled brat comments and knowledge she was mostly a girl who had learned from the night and from the people she had met instead from many schoolbooks. That didn't make her an ignorant fool though. "I wouldn't mind hearing the complete poem and many more while casually making ourselves more comfortable than here in the club." she said with a meaningful sigh while her chocolate brown gaze locked with his blue pearls. His eyes were like a calm, peaceful ocean that slowly wanted to drown her. "Unfortunately we have to do it with what we have now. So tell me Sam... what has brought you to London? What are you looking for to spend your nights with? You know... for those boring, lonely hours of the night." |

This was why she loved eyes. The intense stare that made her feel weightless as if she was flying away. That deep poke into her ver being as if the other person was trying to get to know all her secrets and deepest thoughts. That moment when time seemed to stand still just like her dead heart. Dead... but still full of life and feelings. Then he lead her hand to his chest to where she normally shouldn't be feeling anything. To her surprise she felt a heart beat. She closed her eyes and bit her lip while she purred loudly. Her fingertips got pushed into his chest. She thought she was the only one who played with her human fuctions and trained into making them vivid them. He was the first one she had ever let who had done this. Her voice changed into a crackling stumble when she spoke again before she slowly opened her eyes and pulled her hand back. "Maybe one night we can chase away the hours of the night with some poetry and anything else we can come up with." His boyish smile got answered by a sweet one of her own. She took a few calm and deep breaths to find her steady demeanour again. "There is much to like about them." she winked. |

The young one shifted on her bar stool trying to create a little distance between them. She needed it. Her mind needed it. Why did he have such an effect on her? Hadn't she learned enough from her rollercoaster ride with Emily? Jumping into her own sensations could break her again. It had been too hectic on her mind lately. What was she doing? What was she feeling? She needed to be careful that she didn't lost track of the line between flirting and whatever could be more. He was new in town and so the Brujah still needed to prove his worth. Don't - she thought - don't mention my purr. It was hard for to focus and luckily he had no fancy Aura reading shit. So her smile remained sweet even though she felt a hurricane of mysterious emotions rush through her. Her eyes removed themselves from his and found a their rest on his chest where her hand had been only seconds ago. "Perhaps one night if we found out what you are really made of. My purring is saved for special occasions." she winked again. The girl let her fingertips walk on the surface of the bar. "We are all something Sam." she seemed careful suddenly and very coyly she smiled. Her eyes went down and she forced a faint blush on her cheeks. |

With a nod she gave him her phone. She liked his plan. She could call him in a week or maybe two depending on what would happen in the coming nights and how he would settle in. Once he had typed in his number she put it away and smiled. "I like the way you think Sam. I suspect we might meet up again." Leslie didn't see herself as a dangerous thing but she knew she could be if needed. With little effort she hopped of her stool and gave a gentle kiss on Sam's cheek. "Have a good night" she whispered. Then she walked behind the bar and disappeared in the storage room. The door was unlocked and she had left it open for a bit. Instead of a girl a ginger British short-hair cat came back out. The cat jumped on the bar and nuzzled Sam's cheek. She bumped her head against him a few time to demand some scritches from his big hands before she jumped down and strode out of the club. No one in the place paid attention to the animal. Most knew her either as Leslie and others had only seen the cat wandering in and out. Sam was probably one of the very very few who could now link the cat to the girl. |
