In her bag, she carried all the trappings for the most elaborate bomb she'd ever created. The planning had been monumental, the designs edited, reworked, and double checked for accuracy. A months worth of construction, painstakingly remastered time and time again when an error in construction was discovered. The timing of the bomb had been carefully planned, a weeks worth of evening stake outs done in order to ensure accuracy and map the patterned movements of her target. Every measurement and bit of math was crucial, as the smallest deviance could end in disaster. She didn't look like the type to cause a ruckus, a girl of medium height and pixie like qualities. She wasn't skinny, as she had a roundedness to hips, arms and thighs, but was the sort that was just built like a fairy, thin with narrow hips and shoulders. Bright red hair splayed about in a mass of dreads that fell past her shoulder, the coppery reflective was of her hair making freckles against pale skin stand out that much stronger across her nose. Her bright blue eyes had a sort of excited quality to them, always smiling for her, even when her face was marred by concentration. She wore a pair of dark green bamboo pants, a long thigh length green bamboo top, and s bright mustard undershirt that came down to her wrists. Beaten up deep green doc martins shuffled around at her feet, and her usual sounds of Bells and chains was silenced by their absence. Tonight, she needed to be sneaky. She's even tied a dark green Bandana over her hair, to try and tame the flaming give away. Her backpack had been emptied of all but the essential items needed to plant her construction, tool belt around we hips having been similarily packed with only the most needed items. She waited at the corner, watching the front of the coffee shop for her mark. She'd gotten there early of course, to stand in the dim shadows and wait. Eventually, the police car pulled up and out came the officer she was targeting. He'd roughed up one of the neighborhood kids, having thought Raf had stolen something from a nearby pawn shop. A ring or something? Details didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was sending a message. Once he entered the coffee shop, she knew she had only ten minutes to do what she needed to do. |

"OMG! Look! Look! It's like, made of sparkles and fairy dust and adorable! CAN I KEEP IT?" "What do you mean it's disgusting? Its a cockroach. It's adorable." | |

As soon as the door closed behind the officer, she was sprinting from her shadowy hide away and covering the distance to the car. Her backpack slid over her shoulders as she went, pulling it around side, and grinding to a not so graceful stop right in front of the car, which nearly made her topple over from the miscalculated momentum. "oops!" A quiet squeak offered to the situation before she was crouching down to place the backpack before her, and hurrying to undo the zipper and pull out the magnificent bomb she'd been so careful about creating. It was the most eye watering rainbow of colors she could knit. All done in little four by four inch squares, those squares all placed directly beside other colors that clashed so rudely it hurt to look upon the poor reject rainbow project. The rainbow patches however, made the large lettering in black stand out vividly. It read "All you need is Love." And had been knitted into a perfect car cover, ready to be bound around the car on the underside preventing access to the entire doors. Even the side view mirrors had covers, but to fit over the shape of them tightly she needed to stitch the bottoms closed. She had ten minutes to get it on the car from front to rear, and close the lacing holes and knot everything up. She wasn't fast as lightening, nor did the red head have any grace, but she did seem to dance and wiggle somewhat as she pulled the gigantic, perfectly folded knitted project from her back pack and took to the front of the car while she shook it out. The front was easy, once on, she just needed to make sure the under side was secure before trying to pull the back end all over the cars length, lest it just come flying off the front like a poorly placed fitted bedsheet. Once the front was on, she was rolling it over the car and pulling the slinky, soft mass towards the back to get the rear tied down. Yarn Bombing was the best new prank craze to ever hit the streets. She might have cackled a little as she worked. |
