| Welcome To The Night You find yourself in London on a dreary, foggy night like any other. But what lurks in the shadows is the stuff of fantasies and nightmares, far from mortal reality. This game uses the cursed and immortal vampiric condition as a backdrop to explore themes of morality, depravity, the human condition, salvation, and personal horror. We are a writing and roleplaying community dedicated to telling complex and engaging stories. Your fate is your own. Mingle among the ivory-tower elite in the Camarilla, join the fight of the discontented and chaotic Anarch rabble, or set out independently and attempt to survive in London's nighttime underworld. Email for Primogen Russo from Archon von Wenckheim. Dear Primogen Russo, After a long wait, I've finally been sent Miss Carter. I am trying to understand why did this take so long but, so far, I have not received any satisfactory explanation. The Prince is not replying to my emails; not the last one I sent him, and not the one I sent him two months ago. The Sheriff is pointing at you as the source of the apparent misunderstanding that put Miss Carter on hold for a long time. At the same time, Sheriff Harris generously assumes the blame in your stead. It is all very confusing. Find a copy of his allegations at the end of this email. I need to find out why did this take so long. I need to know whether her mind was tampered with. I need to know if anybody gave an order to keep Miss Carter in storage for so long. I fear this whole experience might have been too traumatic for her mind. I know I would not resist two months of forced paralysis and starvation lightly. If this was a plot destined to tamper with her testimony... That will be just unacceptable. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, but tread carefully, Primogen. You did good coming to me in the first place. Now I want to see if you are willing to stay in that path. Tell me: What happened to Miss Carter, and why did it take two months for her to be sent to me? Nice Shoes, Archon von Wenckheim. Attached to this email, there is a copy of this email from Sheriff Harris to Archon von Wenckheim. |

A small package arrived to Duseldorff with attention made to Archon Von Wenckheim. Dearest Archon, I'm happy to know that Mrs Carter is finally in your care. I admit to being a bit flustered myself when I found out that Mrs Carter had been sitting dormant in some undisclosed location for weeks on end. Even in her torpid state, I am still responsible for my Clanswoman. And over the course of time, I failed to keep tabs on her location. An error made on my part that I apologize for. One of the many great features of modern technology is it's ability to keep track of times and dates automatically. I'll be relying on those automatic times and dates, to provide you with what knowledge I have on the chronology of events relating to Mrs Carter. -[date & time]- Mrs Carter was put into her current state of torpor on the same night that I sent electronic notifications to yourself and also to my cherished Prince, making you both informed of the incident. -[date & time]- According to the call logs on the cellular phone used, Mr Harris was notified of the event at [time]. Mr Harris responded promptly and gave his assistance where it was needed. The body of my Clanswoman was removed from my care that very same evening. I never received any information on the whereabouts of Mrs Carter after she was taken from where the staking took place. I also failed to make any requests to know of her status. -[date]- I received a brief message from Prince Henderson on parchment. His orders were to have the body of Mrs Carter sent to your location. This is where I became confused. I was under the impression that my beloved Prince was left out of certain communications alerting him to the fact that Mrs Carter was, at the time, under the care of Mr Harris. -[date & time]- I made a phone call to Mr Harris to inquire about my Clanswoman's location. During that call I was assured by Mr Harris that Mrs Carter was still under his care and that she would be delivered to Dusseldorf within a reasonable amount of time. -[current date]- I receive notifications from Archon Von Wenckheim that Mrs Carter has been safely delivered. Matters were handled unprofessionally, I will admit to that. There was a lapse in communication somewhere and I apologize for the inconvenience. The information listed above is the only knowledge that I'm privy to regarding this topic. I hope I was able to clear up some of the confusion. I wish you the best of evenings. Respectfully, --M. A. Russo On the same night that Marcus recieved the letter from the Archon, he took the same pair of shoes that he was wearing off of his feet and sent them in a package with his reply letter. The smell of the shoes would indicate that they weren't brand new shoes. |

Email from Archon Von Wenckheim's offices to Primogen Russo. Dear Primogen Russo, Thank you very much for your prompt reply, and for the shoes; I was in dire need of these. I am sorry it has taken a while to reply to you, but I was incredibly busy staring at the moving pictures in the screen of my personal computer, awaiting for a reply from either your Prince or your Sheriff. I fear both have lost the ability to use their fingers, as they are not answering my inquires. But this doesn't concern you. Suffice to know that Miss Carter is under my protection now, being interrogated in relation to some serious breaches in our traditions, and that I'm pondering whether keeping her alive is the fair course of action or not. If I could lift from her the curse of our people, and allow her to be free as one of the Kine, I would gladly do it, but I fear such feats are not at my reach. I hope you are well. We will keep in touch. Some Best, Sincerely, Archon Von Wenckheim. |
