To: His highness Prince James Henderson, the Lord of London Domain. From: Thomas Krusen of Clan Brujah Greetings! It is with the deepest of respect and reverence for rule and the community you have built and maintained in the domain of London that I approach you with the request to be allowed to stay within your borders. As is the traditions I have already discussed the matter with the current Brujah Primogen of the time, George Henry Harris and gotten both his approval and advice how to make myself useful for the clan and kindred community in London. I have previously spent my nights as a traveler with my highly esteemed Sire, Pieter Cornelis Ruyter, perhaps you have heard of him? Regardless, thanks to his influence and tutelage I have traveled the world to explore the different kindred communities and ways of life, knowledge I would be honored to bring back to the greatness of this domain that my sire once called his home, something I will hopefully do as well with nothing but fondness in my mind in the future. I hope that we at your earliest convenience may have a meeting between four eyes to further discuss my potential stay in your domain and what I can offer. I have attached the contact information for myself and my sire alike if there´s anything you would like to ask about further. Carpe Noctum Yours sincerely, Thomas Krusen [Phone number] [Email address ] |

A reply finds its way to Thomas after a few hours. Esteemed Mr Krusen ! I am of course happy to hear that you are willing to entertain choosing London as your domicile for the nights to come. While I have assumed the liberty of reserving an appointment at Millbank Tower in three days at 11 pm, I also have established a more informal and open routine that allows Kindred who would want to see me for various reasons to do so in the rooms of the London Elysium tomorrow from 10 pm to 12 pm. Should you find yourself unable to attend the latter, I will expect you in Millbank Tower. Should you be unable to attend at both of the specified times, I expect you to notify my staff as soon as possible. Documents or persons who are able to testify for your character are of course looked upon favourably. Yours faithfully, Sir James E.G. Henderson Prince of the Domain of Greater London With a sigh, the Prince authorized the reply so it got sent on its way. Then he looked back at the original letter and sent a copy to another of his domain functionaries. |

Benjamin sat as glued looking at the computer screen. He had waited for hours and now finally he had received a reply from the Prince. The young Afrikaner was currently sitting alone in his campervan, bare chested, only wearing his black pants, an obsessed look and a friendly Boomslang neonate as company. While reading through the reply he could not help but utter a chuckle at the whole “Esteemed Mr. Krusen” part seeing how he had indirectly been told by his Primogen to not use such words…the irony was very much present and alive in the moment. With a wicked smile on his lips and a good luck kiss on the Boomslang's head, the Afrikaner quickly typed his response. His Royal Highness, Prince Henderson of greater London Domain I greatly appreciate and feel honored by your swift reply as well as the kind options of meeting you have offered to me. If it would please your highness I would humbly accept a meeting tomorrow at London Elysium. If it works well with your schedule, I would like to book my estimated time of arrival for the meeting at 10:30 pm. It is my great hope and ambition that our meeting will prove fruitful and rewarding to the both of us and our shared desire to protect and uphold the traditions for all the kindred within the domain. Your most humble and obedient subject Thomas Krusen Benjamin leaned back to observe his linguistic creation briefly before he with a pleased smirk and nod he sent the letter away before he changed focus towards the pictures currently sprawled out over the desk. Numerous pictures, all of them of the very same young woman who currently held the proud position as a member of London police force. The young Afrikaner stroked the fingertips of his right hand alongside the delicate facial features of the woman on the pictures all while he felt the serpent slither itself around his left biceps. All while he reminded himself for the umpteenth of the importance of patience during a successful hunt. Edited by Benjamin van der Stoep, Friday, 8. April 2016, 01:56.
