Player Handle: sonata Name: Braedon Brone Age: 23 Place of birth: Firenze, Italia (Florence, Italy) Age of embrace: 1509 Clan: Giovanni or Venture (Although his character does not match with the either clan, you can choose which he belongs to. It's unfortunate that every Clan that would fit him is unavailabe.) Sect: Anarchs or Camarilla (Depending on the clan you choose) Species: Vampire Derangements: None Disciplines: Appearance: Attractive as is the trademark is for vampires, Braedon has dark brown hair that some would call black. His eyes are its counterpart, an electric shade of emerald. His skin in his human years was the Italian shade of olive, although now it is much more pallid. His features are more on the angular-side. He stands at six foot two, with broad shoulders and a lean, muscular build: lithe, strong, agile. Attractive. Seductive. Deadly Haven: While the city life has attractive prospects, such as easy access to food, Braedon prefers his solitude- living up to the stereotype of vampires. He has a modest manor in the countryside, not far from the heart of London. Stone walls, crawling ivy; nestled in a small clearing surrounded by a wood. In the lower east window, there is often a lit fire. History: The Florence Renaissance, an exciting time in history. Florentines were rebelling against the strict religious laws, and they were exploring their minds, bodies, and souls. Through this enlightment, the city-states waged war on each other. Italy seemed to be falling apart and being reborn at the same time. Unaffected by the politics that surrounded his existence, Braedon grew up in a house in the hills of Florence. There, his family ran a small vineyard and olive grove. It was his future to take over the place some day, but Braedon much preferred the arts and was studying painting whenever he could. His name at this time was Dante Batistini. He was high-spirited and rambunctious, constantly wooing women and living life to the fullest. To put it simply, he was foolish. It was this foolishness that turned him into what he is now. On a trip to Venice, for the Carnivale, a beautiful women lifted her mask to him. Without hesitation he chased after her, and the rest as they say, is history. Braedon never understood why she turned him. It has been a question that has plagued his mind ever since. She easily could have devoured him, and yet, she didn't. She disappeared after that night. Perhaps this is what resulted in his persona turning so cold and dark. He learned the hard way the life of a vampire. Hungry and dangerous, Braedon returned to Florence. A month had already passed and the town thought Braedon to be dead or to have gone in search of some artistic quest. With Florence being the lively city that it was, surrounded by war, it was easy for Braedon to feed without attracting attention. Fortunately for him. Months passed and eventually the search for him ceased; his father and friends accepting fate. Braedon stayed hidden in the shadows, watching. Christine was his lover. Infact, she was more than that to him. She was his friend. One dark, cloudless night he followed her and his other good friend, Raol. Christine was upset. Raol led her to a small clearing where a large, gnarled oak stood. There, he consoled her. She cried and he lifted her lips to his, softly. They embraced. Despair and rage engulfed Braedon. He attacked. He ripped the heart of Raol out and then turned to face Christine. Her countenance was twisted with shock. Then a sadness swam deep within her eyes as she gazed upon the beast her lover had become. Braedon killed her too. Killing his two best friends was a tipping point, and soon thereafter he left Florence to do what vampires do: roam. The first city he visited was Rome. Again, large cities were much less noticeable. However, being young and barely having any humanity left, Braedon was careless and attracted the attention of a hunter. He barely escaped the encounter; leaving Italy for good. It was here that his named was changed to Braedon Brone. He ventured from city to city, developing his abilities, cultivating his dark soul; indulging in art and passion. He never really involved himself in either world: kindred nor mortal. Although he may belong to a clan, typically Braedon distanced himself from such things. He turned colder with the passing of time. His wildness in youth as a young vampire developed into control. He may appear calm on the surface, but underneath, a storm wages. He lived in London briefly long ago, and now he has returned to see what the city has left to offer. Notes: Art and Parla il Italiano. {OOC: I'm new to this particular style of RPG (Masquerade/World of darkness), but I've tried to read up about it. Think I"ve got a basic grasp on how it works. If not, please let me know so I can correct it. Thanks) Edited by sonata, Thursday, 23. June 2016, 11:55.
