Various NPCs Kings Hotel 60-62 Queensborough Terrace Kensington, London W2, 3SH 10:50 PM Top Floor -- Walter's "Red Room" ![]() At first it started with a notice in Concord House for all to see. A simple inquiry notice presented by Mr. Walter Slythe of Nosferatu asking if his fellow Kindred should happen to have found an antique silver pocket watch in their travels. A photograph was provided captioned with very specific and exacting details. In that inquiry, the promise of "generous" reward was offered for the time piece's safe return to the hands of Mr. Walter Slythe of Nosferatu. An additional promise of "generous" reward was also offered should the thief be identified and apprehended. That was some time ago. Now Walter seems to be on something of a warpath... desperation on his face. It becomes clear to those that come across him that he is upset, distraught, and quick to anger. It also seems quite obvious that he has become single-mindedly focused on the recovery of this silver pocket watch. Which leads many to suspect there is more to this pocket watch than will probably meet the eye-- more than Walter is perhaps willing to explain or go into any detail about. After Walter has made considerable personal pleas in Concord House, each of you, in your own way has come forward to volunteer your services to aid Walter Slythe in his search for his missing silver pocket watch. Whether you wish to collaborate and act as a group or not, remains for each of you to decide. If you wish to work individually, for your own personal goals and intentions and motivations... nothing will stop you except perhaps your fellow Kindred who may also wish to compete for Walter Slythe's "generous" rewards. Just know that whatever your individual or collaborative strategies may be... Mr. Walter Slythe has extended to each of you an invitation to "The Red Room" one of his private suites at the top floor of King's Hotel in Westminster, where he will provide as much information and details as he possibly can and answer most questions you may have. Walter Slythe has given instructions to the hotel manager to have someone direct each of your to the elevator and the top floor. Once at the top floor, the elevator doors open to reveal a corridor of doors-- all but one door is closed and locked. Walter is pacing impatiently outside in the corridor before the "Red Room". He is dressed smartly in a fine suit. Well groomed to meet esteemed guests. He greets each of you warmly but briefly and ushers you into the room to have a seat. He waits impatiently until all who answered his pleas have gathered. He does not wish to repeat a speech twice. Edited by Becca, Monday, 11. July 2016, 18:06.

She Walks In Beauty
"The Red Room" - how very interesting. It seemed as though Wyvern was not the only resident Nosferatu, who had an understanding for the tasteful and exquisite. Then again, she had met the Prince. Having seen the poster in Elysium and knowing that it was one of her own in need of assistance, Wyvern simply could not stay away from this task, even if she was no super sleuth. Why? Because Clan was family and when family was in need, she answered the call. She bowed her head respectfully to Walter before taking a spot in one of the corners of the room, where she could avoid being the centre of attention. The porcelain face and gold and cream dress made her almost appear like a statue. Much like her clansman, she awaited the arrival of the other involved parties with interest and not a small amount of anxiety. Of course, some would want the reward and would be keen to return Mr Slythe's watch to him, but the others? Kindred always had various intentions behind their actions. She needed to be certain that one way or another, the piece returned to its owner. Whether she retrieved it single handedly or merely assisted was irrelevant. The reward he offered would simply be a welcome addition, in no way a purpose. |

The Monster of Ealing
Constantine had received notification to the Lodgia which was setup here in London, the feelers which he had sent out did indeed pay off. He had heard about a Nosferatu who has wanted a pocket watch, however he does not believe it would be merely a pocket watch. His feeler informed him about the watch and where to discuss, contacting Walter had yielded the same results it appeared it was just a pocket watch. Constantine had looked through his list of suits; as his fingers began to rifle through the list of impressive suits. He stopped at the green one, why was this even here? he cannot remember even picking this out for himself. He eventually stopped at another suit he began to slowly put it on, tied the tie and then moved over to the only mirrors which were present in his room. His armoire was dimly light with a candle. Upon him inspecting how he looked in the suit then he blew out the few candles which were lit around Constantine's room. The smoke from the candles slowly snaked it's way to the ceiling. The question which of course came next was going to be when and where he could meet the person named Walter. Shortly there after Constantine had received word that Walter had invited him to discuss this further at his haven. That was an odd request, there was indeed something special about this pocket watch. He would slowly text Vittoria and Duncan to ensure they are aware where he will be tonight. He is not certain if either of them would be there tonight. He would like to keep this 'secret' to himself, perhaps leveraging a boon from the Nosferatu who would need to have this pocket watch back. This was something Walter needed, not requested but needed; he could keep the pocket watch himself if it suited him, perhaps there was nothing more than sentimental value to this item. The first thing which he was certain of was that he needed to find this pocket watch and had the under world at his disposal to help him go through the process. He had arrived and was greeted by a man who hadn't said a thing but continued to walk him to the elevator. His intentions were clear, he wanted Constantine to follow up. Constantine had learned over the years not to say anything unless he was spoken to in these types of situations. The man had come out into a place that he wasn't sure he was supposed to be at. He walked down the hall and continued to the red room. He immediately didn't like the name. His concern was put at ease to see another Patron here. He thought this might have been a trap based upon the decor, but Constantine would remain on high alert, just to be certain. He moved over to the couch and didn't speak a word. Constantine knew that formalities were off the table, not because of the setting, but due to the fact that Walter was obviously so upset. He didn't wish to interrupt his train of thought and would by no accord of his own wish to skip the formalities. Edited by Constantine Rosselini, Wednesday, 13. July 2016, 17:57.

3rd Stage Guild Navigator -- House Nosferatu
Obfuscate 3: Mask of a Thousand Faces -- Leland Gaunt Walter continued to pace around the Red Room, giving only brief greetings to Mr. Rosselini and slightly less brief greetings to his fellow clan associate Madame Wyvern. He had hoped others would arrive soon-- and they may. As he paces, he mutters mostly to himself how reckless and stupid he is for misplacing his watch. Somewhere in his mutterings he says things like, "My father would never forgive me," and "The watch is the most precious thing I have of him." Out of desperation and perhaps out of faint hope he digs into his pockets, hoping perhaps he has overlooked the obvious once more. Still his pockets are empty. They have been empty for some time. He goes to his cabinets and end tables and to the bookcases... searches once more with his keen eyes and trembling fingers... still nothing. "Where are they? Where are the others? They should be others coming. I must have the watch back. You don't understand-- it is very precious to me." Edited by Mr. Walter Slythe, Monday, 25. July 2016, 02:34.
