History: Blanche and her Brother where raised in a orphan out the country side of France. As they grew they watched their home and friends slowly drift apart. They made several attempts to raise money and charity for the orphanage. Experimenting through several mediums, they found their calling through instruments, fueled by passion and determination in their cause they slowly grew to be recognized in their home. Unfortunately, as the years yet by, this did nothing to save their home or the others they lived with. But Now they had a chance at life on their own. One night During a charity event, the two put on a performance in a museum Unaware there a Toreador was in the build with plans to steal a piece of history he coveted. The Toreador was distracted however by the plays the two made, after the event he approached them both with, stating how he would love to help them escape the cheating hand fate had dealt them. They agreed to consider the offer from the stranger but agreed to nothing at the time. As the two got older, their fame grew in the city of new Orleans, but it came with a price. Blanche wanted to retain a degree of humility, and remember her roots. Her hedonistic brother however slowly fell into the darkness that was being a star. Sleeping around, gambling and giving into drugs. Slowly the prestigious life they build together was crumbling apart before there very eyes, causing a rift between the two, Blanche went her own way. Almost a year had past, the young musician had slowly stabilized her renown once more, Until a fateful call came in, it was the Stranger they have met at the museum. He informed Blanche that her brother lay on his death bed, due to several STDs and over dosing on drugs. Blanche raced to see him, after frantically drill the Dr's with questions, she learned it would take quite literally everything she had on the slim chance to save his life, and Blanche gave in without second thought. For 2 weeks she worried, unable to play unable to think of anything but her brother. But he didn't make it. Blanche practically fell apart, she had lost her home, everything she worked for and now her own brother. She didn't even have enough to bury him. She composed a special piece dedicated to him, and chose to do a final performance to raise money for his burial. The Toreador attended the concert. As Blanche played several modern and classical pieces, he could see in her aura the true intent. As her grand finale. She unleashed a incredible musical piece, putting all of her anger, fear and sadness into it. The Toreador knew that once the performance was over, she intended to kill herself in private. The funeral for her brother was the next day. As she watch his casket e lowered into the ground, She thanked everyone for their contributions and went to her home. She tied a rope to the cross beam and attempted to hang herself, only to be save by the toreador, who offered her something else. Blanche, with her new existence, remains as far away from the politics of kindred society as possible. Preferring to move around, learning and practicing varies forms of music. In the solus of playing she finds comfort and joy, peaceful memories of the past and what she felt growing up. She travels are often but also sparingly, enough to become known but moves if and when too many questions arise about herself, having no desire to break the masquerade. Personally, her views of the kindred is meaningless unless they make some impact on the life they leave behind. A legacy is important after all. Petty endeavors and elongated games of chess for petty benefit is worthless if it can't be enjoyed within the moment. Edited by Julio, Monday, 30. January 2017, 21:51.
