The anarch-sympathizing Ventrue proved to have been reliable. The payphone booth at 777 High Street began to ring at exactly the right time, eleven o'clock at night. Juliet would be asked indirectly if she was an anarch; but the question would be easy for her to understand. Once that was done, she was told to travel South toward Tottenham Hale, where one of their own would meet with her. The phone then disconnected. Before Juliet could reach the residential blocks near Hale, a woman who pretended to be speaking on her mobile phone interrupted the Nosferatu. This place seemed to be filled with night life, and this interloping woman was standing in front of a night bar that seemed modestly popular. The girl had long hair and a slightly pudgy nose, and when she spoke it was in a strange accent that didn't seem quite French—and Juliet was quite well-versed in French accents from her time in Marseilles. "You are done with your call? So am I. Follow me, the others are already waiting." They took toward East, but then went North instead of toward Hale, which was further South. The woman, who on the way introduced herself as simply 'Tricia', seemed to be leading the Nosferatu toward the Hot Spurs stadium. This anarch who met with Juliet didn't speak often, but something regarding their meeting was noteworthy. Tricia knew exactly whom she should approach, meaning that the anarchs had some way of monitoring new arrivals. This was a great reminder why Nosferatu had to pay careful attention to properly cover their face, hands, and body in London, the CCTV capital of Europe, before applying the mask. The two of them progressed through the stadium's expansive corridors before finally reaching the field. On the field were some folding chairs which surrounded a metal table. Instead of going there, Tricia simply pointed toward the nearest seats on the empty stadium isles. Once Juliet was seated, Tricia took her own place on the row right behind Juliet. This made it difficult to look at Tricia, who was sitting slightly elevated behind Juliet. The anarch held out an iPad, and after powering it on she began to speak. "This will be recorded, and listened in on. Imagine that you're speaking with the anarch collective. We have a few questions for you, which we hope you won't mind. Take all the time you need with them. Once we know you better, we'll go from there." At this point, the anarch extended her remaining hand forward which carried with it a simple PDA with a notefile open. Upon it were the following questions, to which Juliet was expected to vocally answer.

"Good." The anarch affirmed, with no particular intonation in her voice. She wasn't even looking directly at the applicant, but rather downward at her slate coloured sweatpants. Khoza's orders to her had been clear the first time, so she instinctively avoided eye-contact with the applicant without having to be told again. Then there were the answers. When Tricia had first been questioned, she had thought them to be an exercise in ego for the applicant, done more so for the applicant's amusement than any ulterior goal. After all, the leeway for dishonesty was high. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it than she was giving it credit for. Some hidden mechanism that she could crack, and in so doing understand precisely what Khoza was thinking. In fact, this was one of her favourite pastimes when not trying to hunt: imagining what exactly their leader desired out of the anarchs of London. That, in turn, would help her understand them a little better. The elusive nature of their kinship was intriguing, and she had the eternity to figure it out. "We need a token of proof to know that we can trust you. In this case, it's about securing some land, and making sure that it's safe. We'd like you to get Camden's Primrose Hill for us, but we'd be willing to listen if you believe that there's something else more suited for your tastes. We think that Sabbat presence may still linger in Camden, so it's not exactly a walk in the park. Write down your contact information on the iPad's word processor, and your full name as well. "Here's how to contact us, and everything you need to know for now. Go on 'anal1cers' dot com. There's gonna be an option to report spam. Click on it, and you'll be led to a form. The important entry is the captcha field. The correct code right now is 241543903. You should write it down until you have it memorized, but it might be subject to change, in which case I'll give you a call. Oh, there is one more thing. You can think of your benefactor during your stay as someone named Khoza. If he ever contacts you, it's probably important." Tricia often wondered if the kine filth website was controlled entirely by them. Anarch Annals? Whatever the truth, it had been majorly useful for her. It bothered her that there were so many offices in the Camarilla that were still unknown, but that only served to prove how attentive they had to be when moving forward. The Sabbat may have once inadvertently shielded them from Camarilla encroachment, but now that they themselves were skirting around its borders, she wondered just how dangerous it could get. Without looking directly at the applicant's face, the anarch tilted her head in an inquisitive expression, waiting for any further questions, comments, or the confirmation that her task was understood. |

The anarch mulled over the limited knowledge she had over Primrose Hill. She had never ventured there, since it hadn't been confirmed as a safe location. Her gaze seemed to drift to the side in contemplation, but she was still avoiding the applicant's gaze. "Nothing specific. Make sure it's safe." She replied, curtly as ever. Then she looked toward the tablet in Juliet's hand, repeating what the applicant was writing over and over in her head, making sure that the contact information was firmly etched in her mind. "Go there now. Yes." She waited for Juliet to do so, impassively looking over the applicant wading through the pornography before accessing the hidden entryfield. "241-543-903" She repeated. "There you go. If something comes up, send us an update. If you need any help with the assignment, I would be willing to offer it. My intentions would be to keep an eye out on you more so than help you. I am not sure if you would appreciate that, but I extend the offer nonetheless." Tricia stretched the tension from her arms, then stood up behind Juliet and looked aimlessly at the field in front of them. "You and this ghoul have a place to stay? Also... I want that iPad back." |
