Wild Hart Wild Hart Lane, Willesden, Brent, London Early Evening The idea of potentially collaborating with a Daughter of Malkav was something of a unique entertainment in his mind. What sort of artistic expression could be conjured with a union of minds like his and this neonate, Malin?Would the madness of her curse stretch the bounds of eccentric into the realms of gouache? Would her insights and expressions be considered avant garde and pioneer a whole new trend or genre of entertainments for his amusement? Would her ideas and concepts be considered a challenge or useful tool to spark some inspiration within his garden of Roses? It surely seemed as those his Guild was lying somewhat dormant as of late, listlessly waiting for some Muse to strike their undead hearts and motivate them. This had been a rather lax and dismal summer social season. Much needed to be done to spice things up and keep the Toreador in the communal consciousness. The death of any Guild was to be rendered passé and irrelevant. Perhaps an outsider was just the sort of antidote for this malaise. Wild Hart the perfect place to indulge ideas and entertainments. It was also an exquisite location to test the resolve and dedication of the "truly inspired". It was also a place where as of late, inspiration and Muses, Aphrodite, Nymphs, and other courtly pleasures were more readily available and conveniently at-hand. An opulent gentleman's establishment fashioned strikingly like the old temples to Artemis and Aphrodite. Very Roman. White marble pillars, lush red velvets, lavish tapestries.... Sure, it was a strip club in the crudest sense... but tasteful in Arsenio's opinions-- and it was his opinions that mattered here. "Strip club" was such a harsh and crude phrase. A salon of lusciousness... a gallery of appreciation for the feminine form... a temple to the carnal and pleasurable. But that was only the surface. In the basements awaited the real "heart" of the place. His own investment and expression-- at least one expression-- of his passion for entertainment and beauty and succulent living. Before he could truly indulge though, he had to meet this... Malin and sample some of the fruits of her artistic labors. If her proposal had merit, then perhaps she could join him down below and endure a test of her passion, determination, and resolve. And from that? Arsenio will see just how truly entertaining this Malin could be. Dressed in a crisp ivory white shirt and flawless Brooks Brothers suit jacket and sharply creased dress pants, Arsenio walked the lobby and awaited his guest. He would lay in the charms and charisma. He would be graceful and warm. He would not however, waste her time with the upstairs entertainments. No... for his rendezvous, something a little more private was needed before they might explore the "heart" of Arsenio's interests. |

23:00 sharp Malin entered through the door. She was not one to disobey the words of a Primogen, even though it meant she could not be fashionable late. She hadn't met this Arsenio Pozzi, but being Primogen to such an artistic clan he had to be quite nice. Her green dress was chosen carefully. With a silver rose by its waist she considered it a nice symbolic gesture just to wear it. The green colour was a beautiful contrast to her favourite red lipstick. With her pale skin and blonde hair, she felt like the Christmas spirit itself. As usual, Malin had no limitations to how well she thought about herself. She was lovely, perfect. Frankly she would be surprised if heads did not turn. Not that she would keep an eye out for turning heads, she knew they turned, why wouldn't they. The establishment she entered into gave her a mixture of feelings. The interior itself was wonderful, she remembered the tales her Sire used to speak about the days where their clan was considered among the highest. Ah, what a lovely time that must have been. The girls however, well, it was not unknown that men needed some distractions now and then, these lowlifes might as well make themselves useful. Why the Primogen would invite her here was a strange question however. Perhaps he didn't know enough about her? Or perhaps there was a reason behind this? A test perhaps? Well, she would not disappoint, her manners would not fail. Apart from her purse she was also carrying a black box with a white bow. A gift she was to present to the Primogen. First she had to meet him of course, and frankly she did not know what he looked like. "Excuse me." She said to the first person that she saw that seemed to be working at the establishment. "Do you happen to know where I can find Mister Pozzi?" |

[alias=Ms. Wong] [avatar=http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-amRM48_WrBE/VlKXdFmHInI/AAAAAAAABEk/Q6SvOTR0Jjk/s1600/Akiko.jpg] As one walks into Wild Hart, they are greeted, sort of, by a "reception desk" which was really nothing more or less than a counter decorated with a glass vase of silk flowers. Attending the counter was a young woman of some Asian decent, could be Vietnamese, could be Cantonese, could be from anywhere south of the Tropic of Cancer for all anyone would know. She was attractively dressed in a tasteful white blouse and neat business formal black skirt and black designer nylons. She looked more like a bank teller than perhaps a Madame hostess of a brothel... yet she did seem to give off that brothel vibe about her. Perhaps it was the smirk or shimmery little suggestive glint in her dark pearly eyes. Something seemed "off" about this woman, but what exactly wasn't readily apparent by mere glances alone. Behind her was the coat check and pacing some distance away, was Mr. Arsenio Pozzi, the "silent" proprietor of this establishment... of sorts. Puffing up her chest and displaying her name tag prominently upon her black vest, Ms. Wong greets Malin with a smile before curling her finger in a sort of secretive "come hither" gesture. "Mr. Pozzi is waiting for you. He is expecting you," she greets, then whispers. "Word of advice... what happens here... stays here. Mr. Pozzi enjoys his privacy as much as he enjoys his... entertainments." Her accent is definitely somewhere in the midst of Malaysian... or Vietnamese... possible Thai? Cantonese... maybe she was from Hong Kong? With a gesture she indicates the man in the Brook Brothers suit jacket. There is a moment when Mr. Pozzi's eyes catch Ms. Wong's. There is a nod between them. "Oh and one more thing," Ms. Wong whispers, leaning over the counter. "I hope you brought your swimsuit. Mr. Pozzi does not like to be disappointed." Malin blinked a little at the word of advice she got. She had heard the saying before but hardly ever used it. What happens here, stays here. What did that mean? The meaning had escaped her in that moment. "Do happenings usually walk away? That seems quite odd don't you think?" And as Ms Wong mentions the bathing suit Malin stops and looks her right into her eyes. A smile appeared, big, white, charming and little condescending, alas this could only be seen up close. "Miss..." For the first time she looked at the name tag on the girls blouse. "... Wong. I am sure you just want to help and that you are a very good employee who usually come with good advice to his guests. I can see that you seem to have the trust of Mister Pozzi, something I have not yet earned. However, do not take me for an imbecile. My memory serves me well and I did read what he wrote. It was quite clear." The words were spoken silently, it was meant for Miss Wong and no one else. Her eyes wandered further, to watch the man she was supposed to meet, the Toreador Primogen. A smile appeared on her face, he looked like a man with authority and a fashion sense, though she was a bit uncertain on the cut of the suit, she had seen that cut a lot lately though, had to be some new kind of fashion. It was at least better than the ones walking around in hooded sacks. She would have to wait and see if this Primogen was a gentleman as well. Either way, he was a pillar of the Camarilla and should be treated as such. "I can go in now then?" She asked the girl, just to be sure. "Thank you." The smile was actually kind now, Malin had n grudge for this girl, why waste such things on servants? As long as the girl did not take her for an imbecile again, she had given other appreciated advice after all. If she only could remember what it meant with happenings walking away, and what did have to do with privacy? Well if she saw a happening walking away she would stop it as best she could. She walked up to Mister Pozzi, stopping just outside his personal sphere, curtsying while letting her eyes fold down towards the floor for a short moment before meeting his again. "Primogen." The word said in a low volume, she wanted to greet him properly, still, she knew nothing of whom visited this place and did not want to risk anyone hearing the word. Still she said it as if it was sacred, a word that could open the gates to paradise, whatever paradise is to the gate opener. "Allow me to give you a small gift as appreciation for the time you are giving me." She handed out the black box with the white ribbon towards him, gently and without any rush. If and when it was opened it would reveal a black satin scarf made for men with a pattern of red roses. |

Arsenio turned at the small voice beside him and his eyes were immediately drawn to the verdant green of Malin's dress. An interesting color choice. A bit risky but yet, she pulls it off well. "Ah Ms. Malin Holmblad is it? A pleasure. Indeed an honor to make your acquaintance. Come, welcome. You look ravishing," he added. His eyes swept up and down her form and cataloged as many details as one could in a few glances. A smile stretched across his lips. Yes she was a fine specimen and while others may strive beyond their means to impress with excessive caking of make-up and the dousing of perfumes and fragrances or try and bedazzle and distract and divert the discerning eye, this one was plain and honest and seemingly quite comfortable and content with their own body and skin. Confidence, he liked. "A gift? How very thoughtful," he smiled. "Most appreciated." He tucked the box within the crook of his left arm as he offered his right arm in escort. "Welcome to the Wild Hart. As you can see, it may not be the most elegant or noble of establishments... I am sure it may even disappoint... but there is still time. Yet this facade aside, I find some times one must shed fashion for function and as I hope you'll see in good time, this place most definitely serves a function. And it is my fashion to often function; and as one who is at the center of the social scene, it is my function to host only the most fascinating and entertaining and extravagant events and... social functions... as one may ever encounter." Mr. Pozzi led Malin towards a corner table under dim light some distance away from the bar and across from the main stage where a pair of topless dancers were performing before a pair of tables occupied by a small party of men in suits. Pozzi didn't even give them a glance. His entertainment was already standing beside him. With a gesture, he invited Malin to take a seat at the table. He glared at a passing waitress before she took more than three steps to approach. She hastily spun on her toes and retreated to the safety of the bar. "We will not be disturbed. You are my guest here and tonight, you have my most undivided attentions," Pozzi smiled, leaning almost predatorily into the table, hands folded in front of him as if in prayer. "Pray tell me, what did you have in mind? What is it that has inspired you to seek my assistance? As I understand it, you wish to organize a special affair for the 6th of January next year and you require the advisement of the Guild? I am honored you would seek my assistance and advisement. Please... what did you have in mind exactly?" Edited by Arsenio Pozzi, Monday, 18. September 2017, 17:57.

Malin chuckled as his praise to her looks humbled her, well, not really, it was to be expected but still, she played the part of a humble lady as he led her to their table. "I must say, the facade is lovely. Though I believe you understand me correctly when I say what lies beneath it is not in my personal taste." She referred to the girls as a smile grew on her face. "Alas I understand your intent, the function is quite clear to me, or perhaps I should say the functions of this place as there seems to be more than one." Though she was prude she was not unfamiliar with the concept of using female beauty and sexual appeal to get people to do what you wanted, in fact she used it as a tool herself as she courted men she wanted something from, or rather, got them to court her. However it was all very tasteful. Instead of the promise of sex there was the possibility, never spoken, only hinted. Instead of bare skin it was the draped silhouette. Sally used a more brute approach to get blood, that much Malin had learned. However Malin herself would never prostitute herself in that way for some red fluid, no matter how good it tasted. As she sat down she did so by gently sinking down towards it without loosening her back from it's straight, yet soft, pose. Her purse was placed on her lap and her hands gently folded above it. A quick glance towards the dancers, a slight disgust could be noticed for one short second before the smile was back and her attention was once again fully provided to Primogen Pozzi. At least the girls seemed well trained. "Yes, the gathering." Malin was silent for a while, thinking about where to start. "I would like a gathering that inspires both class, manners and fun. One idea I had was to have it themed to the early 1900, however that can be discussed of course. I also had a few things that I thought could help with inspiring the fun but I do not know if that can be arranged." She straightened up a bit, the smile got a little less charming and showed more enthusiasm instead. "The first thing is a wheelbarrow. I was thinking, if we could arrange a a way to sit on it, gracefully of course, then some people could push me around in it. Just for a little while of course. Then, we bring in a horse, but the saddle is made so you sit in the wrong direction, then a get put up on that, sitting back and forth, forth and back." She grew silent, was that the right expression? Well, perhaps not but he probably understood even if it wasn't. "Oh, and one more thing. Do you believe we can arrange for me to drown in a bottle of champagne? Do they make bottles that big? I would love to dive into it if possible. Well and besides all that I haven't thought too much about it. The core purpose is to celebrate in a fashionable way." Should she tell him the reason for the gathering? That it was in fact her birthday? Usually kindred did not speak to much about their age and she even deemed it improper to speak of. Still, it might help him visualise the art around it as Toreadors did. She'd better wait and see. "Now, I have never actually arranged a party like this myself. I have dictated some in the past but had others do the formalities for me such as find a locale and such. So I was hoping to get help in how you arrange those things. I thought your clan would have many experts on the subject and must admit that as you yourself was willing to give me some advice and perhaps some help I couldn't help but to exult there and then, by my self, on the other end of the internet." She turned her head and lowered her eyes in an apologetic, and almost embarrassed, manner but made sure that it was an angle where she looked most beautiful. "That said, I expect that when I ask you for help in the trivial matters, your opinion will influence even the non-trivial ones, I could not ask you to help me without letting you give it a personal signature of sorts, since it is an expertise of yours I am sure. And therefore I will not ask that of you. Instead I ask, are you interested in arranging this gathering with me? And if not, how can I change your mind?" |

It was hard to contain the surprised expression on his face; but surprise quickly gave way to confusion. Was this woman serious? Announcing her arrival in a common wheelbarrow? Circulating amongst her guests on a horse? What was she thinking? Was she making a mockery of the institution of social gatherings and balls or laying out some attempt at satire against her prospective guests? What was she trying to convey here? Not ten minutes into this meeting and already Arsenio felt he was stepping at the threshold of Malkavian insanity. Maybe indulging the whimsical and enigmatic for entertainment value wasn't such a good idea after all? Could he afford to attach his own good name and the reputation of his Guild on something that involved such unusual visuals? If it was a statement of mockery against the decadence and over-indulgences of some Caligula-like figure or figures... if this was some kind of visual insult directed at someone, he would certainly want to know who this was for. If this was Malin Holmblad simply being Malin Holmblad, indulging her own fantasy... what a bizarre fantasy, he thought. "I'm afraid I am not quite seeing what it is you are seeing. Perhaps you might tell me who your intended audience is. Whom might you invite to this unique engagement? Perhaps if I knew that, it might indicate the motivations of this creative endeavor," he suggested. "One must know the audience if ever you hope to engage them and draw their attention and keep it." Could she even hold his interest? Well... possibly. Down in the basements, she might. 1900's... pre-industrial revolution? Champagne glass submersion? Marilynn Monroe meets horses and wheelbarrows? Sort of a pastiche to Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend? Possibly... could go in that direction... a 1900's theme going back to Gatsby and Cole Porter... hmmm... maybe. |

The confused expression did not escape Malin and she felt a bit pressed for answers. How would she explain this without giving away the circumstances? "I thought the guest list could consist of the prominent members of our society. Should it be someone who has proven their worth for he Camarilla, the Primogen for example, or simply just those with a certain status to their behaviour. People who are pleasant to be around. I have a few names i think should be on the list of invitations, however I am not entirely sure how many of them are still in London." She grows silent. Thinking about all the people that couldn't be contacted nowadays. It was worrying and sad, but she wouldn't loose hope. Times were changing, it had happened before and it was never pleasant. "I understand if you believe it a little odd. My requests that is. Would it comfort you if I told you that it is a song? A Swedish one. It plays with the notion of killing someone but instead it turns the words into celebrating that same someone. A ritual of sorts, meant to happen at a certain time, a time many do not meet and those who do are usually too weak to complete it. This song is sung many times, a promise of what is to come, though considering the circumstances, it is almost a mockery now I think of it, promising something they'll never reach. Not for me however. The time is coming, and it is due on January 6th. The most important thing is the celebration. The ritual, if you can call it that, is only a little spicing." Perhaps she said too much, however she was not afraid of anyone knowing her age. If he understood it she had said enough without going over the boundaries of what was proper. "Should you be uncomfortable with this in any way we can always call it a Swedish tradition, what might seem strange will be greeted with laughter as cultural differences often seem to be a topic of humour." With those words Malin smiles and takes some time to look around the room, something she soon regrets as she sees the dancers again. The eyes quickly turned back towards the Primogen while the word 'Improper' went through her thoughts. Her smile was still there though "I hope I haven't scared you away. Personally I believe it could be a positive surprise with a champagne bath." |

Swedish customs and personal indulgences. A scene inspired by some Swedish song and yet a champagne submersion and the date of January 6th. It was enough to make anyone's head swim or spin. Then again... all throughout history there have been well established eccentrics. Malin Holmblad may simply be one of a long tradition of eccentrics. Whether one talked of Oscar Wilde or King Louis the XIV or Nero or Caligula or any number of decadent, opulent aristocrats with money, power, and prestige to burn... were her requests really that extraordinary? In the grand scheme of things, wouldn't it be more a spectacle to see just how far and twisted a Malkavian's eccentricities could go? Just how outlandish could this gala or soiree get? To find the limits of the Malkavian mental landscape and to explore their eccentricities would be not just entertaining but also vastly educational as well. And perhaps in the process of creation, a deeper appreciation for the surreal and psychedelic could be achieved? There was that untapped niche. Not since the days of Andy Warhol and the experimental days of the 1960's and early 1970's have the Toreador ventured into the mind altering stages of psychedelia and the existential state of mind. The more he thought about this, the more curious he was to see this Malkavian in action. How did her mind tick? What creative expressions would she manifest under his guidance and tutelage? What if he stepped aside and merely enhanced her manifestations? "Now I am beginning to see a picture. Yes. I believe I can help you. In fact, it would be an honor to help you see your vision come to life. Of course there are many details we will need to work through and lots of planning to undertake to ensure a successful event," Arsenio replied with a warm smile. There was a definite sparkle in his eyes now. Perhaps that elusive muse has come to visit him at last? "I may even have a few suggestions and ideas for you to consider. For the moment though, I believe it's time to bring you down to the basements... where we can make ourselves more comfortable and we can speak more freely... and I can more accurately appraise your passion and determination for this project. I can't truly work with someone who lacks passion and determination. Without passion and determination, the end results of any creative endeavor are like lumps of coal or slag. If you wish to sparkle like a diamond at your event, I believe some pressure is necessary. Come with me my dear." Arsenio rose from his seat and proceeded to lead with a gesture of his hand towards a concealed elevator in a dimly lit corner "protected" by some strategically located pillars and potted plants. The elevator opened and Arsenio proceeded to step inside. There were no buttons to press, only a lock. Arsenio produced a key from underneath his shirt and slid it into the lock effortlessly and with a quick flick of the wrist, turned it. The elevator came to life and descended down for several minutes. "I have a little sanctuary I keep here. When I need to conduct special business. And what we have here is special business I believe. Your soiree or gala will be special. I can see it now. It will be a unique event that will challenge people, yet be glamorous, and decadent and extravagant... but decidedly clever. But I must know if you have the passion and determination to see your vision come to life." The elevator opens and Arsenio proceeds to lead Malin, if she is willing, through a very brightly lit, white marble hall carpeted with red velvet. Lining the hall are statuettes of Greek gods and goddesses... mainly goddesses. A single door stands before them under a white marble archway. "Through this door are my indulgences. Tonight, if you truly wish to show me passion and determination, you will indulge me. Otherwise, you leave through the elevator and this conversation has not occurred. Are you determined to see your vision come to fruition? Do you have the passion to work with the Toreador? Are you a risk taker or a wilting bud afraid to blossom? You want to be submerged in champagne and put on display before your guests, riding upon a horse... you want to put forward an exhibition... show me your passion!" |

Malin listened to every word he said, but she herself mostly kept quiet in the elevator. Being alone there, with him got her mind to wander. She did not really know why but she got ever more conscious about what was there, beneath the skin. She had heard of it's strength but only felt her own, and that of her Sire, she knew it had happened but did not remember much of it. Still at a point, she caught herself looking at Primogen Pozzi's throat as he looked in a another direction. Get yourself together! He was going to test her, somehow, she needed to focus on that. Passion? Well surely she got passion, she was just good at controlling it. She only showed what was proper, a hint of what was lying below. She got passion, she remembered passion. Did she not? Have passion? Of course she did! Determination? Well if it was something worth being determined about. It was hard to keep her curiosity hidden as they travelled down. What would she see down there when the doors opened? What was his passion? What she would see at first glance would not disappoint. She did not hide her smile as she saw the hall and while being led and not wanting to seem rude in any way, she tried to get the time to watch some of the statues as they walk by. She could live in an environment like this one. "Remind me to ask you for decorating advice when I find someplace bigger to live." Then they reached the door and his ultimatum was told. She looked at the door for a while with a smile before she turned to him. "Primogen Pozzi, may I ask what indulgences you might have?" She wouldn't risk putting herself in a too compromising condition. "You are very vague, which is understandable, but also worrying. The only clue I have is a bathing suit in my purse and I..." ... am not like the girls who work upstairs. "... have been taught to be vary of a mans intent. Will my dignity be intact if I tend to your indulgences?" She turned towards the door, looking at the details of the archway while she continued to speak. "It is hard to make a choice in this situation. You give me a mystery door which hides passion and asks if I will choose it without knowing what kind of passion. I must confess, it is quite poetic." How important was this celebration to her? She could do something to get it but there was a limit to what she would do, would what was behind that door step over that limit? She had the feeling that is she walked through it, there was no going back. "Perhaps I am not asking the right question. You ask if I have passion, determination." She wandered a bit, in that moment feeling like a queen as she stepped the red carpet in front of the eyes of gods and goddesses. Her walk was fit of one and she held her head high, without turning her nose up in the air. "I respect you Primogen. I do not know you or what wonders you have done for the Camarilla, but my respect for you is deep and profound." Her words were true, her respect did not only come from society's demands, it came from a true faith in the Camarilla and it's leaders. "But can you respect me? You do not need to answer that, it was rhetorical. As a kindred I have not proven myself to you. Yet I believe you can see I am not just another Malkavian girl. I belong to a certain class and because of that I believe I am worthy of some respect at least." She turned and looked him right into the eyes. Her features were soft as were her smile. "My question is, do you consider yourself a gentleman?" If the answer was yes she would walk through the door without hesitation. Why was unclear, but Malin had a deep belief that when it came to a Primogen in a higher clan he would not lie to a question like that. Neither did she believe he wouldn't be honest to himself. |

"I do believe it was Marilynn Monroe who once said, 'if a man cannot take me at my worst, he sure as hell doesn't deserve me at my best.' Or something to that effect. Dignity does not come from one's environment or one's surroundings, but rather it comes from the content of your character as well as your actions-- what you bring to the environment. Whether I am in a strip club or enjoying the finery of the Kirov Ballet or sampling only the best vintage in the very halls of giants at Versailles or Vienna... it is what I can bring to the occasion that dictates whether I am dignified or vilified. I find dignity in the humble workings of a woman washing her clothes in the back alley of some barrio in Madrid... I find dignity in those who face humiliation with grace and degradation with confidence. There are those that crumble and wilt... and those that rise to the occasion. Some people crawl through the muck in the gutters of every sidewalk of life and yet, they come out clean. You ask if I am a gentleman... but this evening is not about me. Rather, it is about you. You ask for my assistance and I am willing to grant it... but the question is, are you a lady in any circumstance? Are you of a bearing that warrants the Guild's investment?" Arsenio reaches for the door. "If you cannot accept me at my proverbial worst, then of what value is your loyalty at my very best?" "Who are you at your worst? And what might shine from your core in the worst of possible situations? Inquiring minds would like to know. Can you rise to any occasion?" From behind the solid oaken doors still closed, muffled sounds. Voices? Music? It was hard to tell. Laughter or crying? Screaming? It was hard to tell. "I don't do anything by half measure-- especially when the Guild's reputation or my own is at stake. You'll find I am quite committed to any reasonable endeavor or proposal. But a gentleman must know, just how committed their partners and clients are. How committed are you?" That seemed like the last question or challenge he would pose. Now the ball was once again back in Malin's court. |

Worrying, he would not answer the question. He wanted to test her, see her at her worst. That did not sound promising. Worry without promise. Why didn't he see it? She couldn't let herself go to her worst, it was not good. The stress, would it be stressful? She realised what she needed to do, she could not ask him to be careful where he stepped, he would expect her to handle whatever he threw at her. But she could not guarantee that. For a brief moment she saw the blood of Malkav as a curse, a prison. "I am not sure I agree with this Marilynn Monroe, whoever it is, the name rings a bell. I believe you should always be on your best behaviour as well as you can." A test, it was all a test. He was a Primogen, why would she believe a Primogen to do anything bad? Did she not believe the Camarilla and its elders were the foundations of a perfect society? Yet he asked a woman of her clan to go into uncertainty. She was not oblivious to the flaws of Malkavians. It was bold, very bold. "However, we all have wires that can make us trip." He would not do anything to hurt her, it was just a test. But what if he did not know her wires? What did he know? What did he not? A test, perhaps the biggest was to see if she would walk through the door? Despite his vague descriptions? He wanted her to act dignified after all, so he wouldn't expect her to do anything that would disgrace herself. "As well do I, should a wire like that be put in front of me, I apologise in advance for my behaviour." In the end, was she not too curious now to stop? Was she right? Was this be the big part of the test? He asked her to bring a bathing suit so they were probably just taking a dip in a pool, swimming around a bit. She walked up to him. "Very well, I will indulge your test." And when we are done perhaps the prize can be to open your veins and let me ravel in then. To hell with the birthday party, I want Vitae! She blinked a couple of times, as to shake away a picture in her mind and come back to the present. What was wrong with her? Sally was the uncontrollable one, not her. And no she did not want to drink from him, she knew very well of blood bonds. What was happening? |

Arsenio nodded and without much ceremony, thrust open the doors to a lavish room that could best be described as nothing less than a harem. Marble interior dominated by Doric columns from which lush red tapestries freely draped to the floor adorned with countless cushions, chaise lounge chairs, and decorative mosaic tiles. Very Greco-Roman. Very white and red. Very clean. Yet what was really decorating this room were about two dozen women scantily but tastefully clad in a variety of designer undergarments and swimsuits. Each woman, in their own right, a seemingly perfect specimen of feminine beauty. Flawless skin and complexion, sparkling eyes that shimmered with vivid life, luscious hair, sensuous curves and proportions, and toned muscles and strong confident features. Each woman a living statue of feminine idealism. Perhaps a sharp contrast to the variety of woman who might dance upstairs and writhe and dangle from a greased up pole or be seen squatting before a man in some suit slipping Pound notes down a girl's G-string or garter. Not a hint of humiliation or degradation could be seen among these women. They possessed expressions of contentment, confidence, and assurance. They knew they were beautiful. They took pride in their appearance. They had no hint of fear upon their faces. They were all about the harem chamber, some lounging upon cushions, some meandering around the columns simply content to display themselves. When they moved, they moved with grace and poise. Were they brainwashed? Had they been drugged or dominated? Were they blood bound ghouls? Did they have any idea who Arsenio Pozzi was and what he could freely do to them? One might suspect they were in a trance of some kind-- they were at such peace with themselves and their surroundings and in harmony with each other... it all seemed so unnatural. Beautiful women in skimpy, revealing, very flattering little garments... confined here in this lavish room. Here simply to entertain and amuse themselves and occasionally Mr. Pozzi? As Pozzi swept into the room more fully, every woman approached him to greet him. And they greeted him quite theatrically! They fell upon their knees and spread their thighs apart most invitingly, they lowered their heads in total submission and crossed their arms behind their backs. And in a single voice, they greeted their host in a soft unison. "Greetings Master... we welcome you." Unnatural yet... natural? "They are slaves. They know it. They can take pride in it. They are pleased to be my slaves. Why? Because they know and can take pride in the fact that among all the women I could choose, I chose them. I chose each one... one by one... I selected each of them personally. I found something in each one that I found worthy of possessing for myself. I found incredible value in each woman I have selected and they are prized possessions. They understand that. And they appreciate it as much as I appreciate them." With a sweep of his arms, he sent the women scattering like nymphs about the room. Some went to fetch wine, some flushed cushions, some gathered up long fans of feathers, others went towards a variety of musical instruments. "In many respects, they are more free and liberated than most women you'll meet anywhere in the world. These girls experience no daily grind, no struggle, no discrimination, or abuse. They are not confined by society's rules or religion's restrictions. They are free to embrace their womanhood fully. They are free from the mundane world of spousal abuse, parenthood, overworking for little appreciation or pay.... They will never have to concern themselves with working themselves to death just to put food on their tables... they have but one responsibility-- to please me. It is a responsibility that now comes naturally to them." Arsenio takes a seat upon a throne and immediately a slave-woman approaches with a goblet of blood and two more slave women approach with long feathered fans. "They respect me because I respect and appreciate them. I have rescued them from tortured lives and given them peace here," Arsenio continued. "As you can see, they are quite content. Inspect them, ask of them, look them over if you wish-- I insist that you do. I want you to know I have not harmed them or mistreated them in any fashion. You will see that they have accepted this life of their own free will." "I didn't need to condition these woman or apply a strong arm with them. I did not need to convince them or brainwash them. They were chosen and they accepted this over what they were leaving behind. This life was the best possible alternative for them. They want to be here. They want me. And they stay because I want them in return." "So... this is where we are now. You want my help in throwing a party or great social gathering on January 6th. My first piece of advise is for you to make your audience and guests and attendees want you... and want to be with you... and want to stay with you. Otherwise, why are they really there? If you want to be the center of your own party, you have to generate an intense appeal. You can begin by trying to appeal to me and these women here... now." Edited by Arsenio Pozzi, Tuesday, 26. Malin looked over the scene quite quickly, coming to her conclusions as she watched around. There was a certain style to it all and she could appreciate the charm. It was not a chamber where you brought guests, however, he had spoken about it in terms that made her anticipate something secret, private. This was far too sexual for her taste but she had agreed to the test. As she saw the way they greeted him she stopped, lifted up her hand to let its back stroke her cheek while she closed her eyes. Disgrace, improper, so improper! Calm, calm down, do not get upset. What was it with male Primogen putting her in this position? What had happened last time again? He had asked her to drink... Well that hadn't been to bad now she thought of it. But this? This did not appeal to her. Or did it? It was all so confusing since that night in the copyshop, she felt her actions and motivations where questionable, getting closer to that of Sally's. Hopefully that was only momentarily. Blood Auspex: Heigthened Senses (Smell) She opened her eyes and could not help it, the temptation, blood, everywhere. Slaves, ready to serve him, why him? Why did they not kneel in front of her, offering their necks for her to feed on? He knew how to pick them, they were all beautiful, in that remark alone they made themselves worthy of her company despite their questionable behaviour. Well, as long as they knew what place they had put themselves in and stayed there it might work out just fine. She realised that she herself would be a crown jewel in a collection like this, a collection of beauty. She listened to Primogen Pozzi as he spoke, only barely distraught by smells, the hint of blood, sweat and the smell of lust? Perhaps, she did not put too much thought into the other smells, it was the smell of blood that caught her attention. So much of it. As he finished speaking and his request had been heard she looked over the girls again. Appeal to them? Why? They were not above her, they were not even beside her. He said it himself, they were slaves. She couldn't do it, not even if she wanted to. It would be too stressful. He had given her permission to examine the girls, ask them questions, perhaps that could buy her time. However she did not care what he had done to them and was not surprised they had decided this path. Women wanted a man to take care of them, the difference was how much they demanded of the man and how much they were willing to give. "Well, I must say, I feel overdressed. Perhaps I should make sure to follow the dress code first?" She smiled towards the Primogen, then she looks around for a veil of sorts, somewhere she could go and change. She would prefer a place where her silhouette could be seen, it could be a nice little tease for his tastes. However she did not seem to find anything with the proper room for changing clothes. Not that this would stop her, there were a lot of girls here eager to serve their master, she turned towards some of those who weren't serving him specifically at the moment. "Girls." She said with a charming smile. "Perhaps you could help me? There seems to be plenty of cushions in here, perhaps you could use them to create walls around me? It would be appreciated, I would love to change into something more appropriate and we would not want to spoil the surprise by changing in the open." She looked over towards Primogen Pozzi and the feather fans that approached him by letting slaves carry them. "Would it be alright if I borrowed those fans for a door?" Her smile was only a hint mischievous as it shone towards him, not the girls with the fans. They were currently serving him, she needed his permission to steal them away. Even if the girls agreed to create walls around her by holding up cushions she wouldn't really need a door, however, she found it a little funny and it might raise his interests. Besides, it did remind her a little about a burlesque show, using feathers to hide the body. |

[alias=Erica /Goth Bunny]![]() The newcomer was interesting... in a sort of old fashioned, classy sort of way. A throwback to the pre-Madonna and Lady Gaga Age, obviously. Utterly boring, in her opinion. If she was going to just waltz in here and somehow steal all the spotlight and cozy up next to Master Pozzi, she might have another thing coming. She wasn't chosen like her. She didn't know Pozzi like she knew him. Master Pozzi couldn't possibly want this old blonde hag. No way. Master liked his girls unique and interesting and complex and deep. This one looked about as deep as a puddle and just another blonde-- that came like a pence a dozen. Erica knew she had earned her place here. She fought for Pozzi's attention and she came from almost nothing and scratched and clawed her way up the social ladder for attention and... and she had struggled for years to clean herself up and get back on the straight and narrow. She turned the corner and if not for Pozzi, she would have been nothing but a dumb hot mess on some street corner of Grove Ward. Pozzi knew she was worth something because she was a survivor and a fighter. This newcomer... didn't look like much of anything. Didn't look like she had scratch or clawed her way to anything. Probably had a silver spoon stuck in her dainty little pouty lips since birth. Spoiled little rich girl from the looks of it. Erica approaches Malin with narrowed eyes and hands clenched in fists. "If you think you're going to just waltz in here and take the top spot among us, you got another thing coming girly," Erica warned. "If you want to cozy up next to Master Pozzi, you'll have to go through me and quite a few others." |

Oh, it seemed these girls would not help her, even tough her mission was to please their master. And she thought that she, Miss Malin Holmblad, wanted to take her place? A chuckle was heard from Malin before she started to talk. "Oh no my dear, I am not interested in taking any permanent place in here. If you feel I come in here and is different from you, well, that is only natural. You are a slave of Arsenio Pozzi, willingly so. I am not." She turns around and speaks towards Primogen Pozzi. "If the whole point of this is to get me in a position where I am supposed to let these girls talk down to me like that, the deal is off. A man with such disrespect has no place in arranging my gathering." "I am not here to act as your slave, nor try to climb any hierarchy I do not belong in to begin with. You wanted to see my passion, give me something worthy of it. You want me to appeal to you? Give me a good reason to. You say they respect you because you respect and appreciate them? Well then, earn my respect. Or is there something else you want? Me perhaps? Well this is a collection piece you are not getting." She was more annoyed than angry in her tone, yet the anger was there, just below her voice. "Well, I thought you could deliver what I wanted but your price is high yet the only skills you have shown is based on rumours, why would I hire you? I thought this could be fun, but frankly, I do not need your help. I guess my gathering would be one where no Toreador can take credit." She turns towards the girl again. "And for your information, my cuddles are reserved for someone else. Someone who has proven worthy of them." |

Seems the Malkavian's true colors were peeking through the opaque but thinned layers of pride. Perhaps her pride was too fragile a thing to stand up against a petty challenge? The girl in black had something worth fighting for-- her place among her peers and her master's loyalty and affection. Rightly so she sensed an intruder and challenge and was willing to stand her ground. In response, Arsenio could see that Malin Holmblad was not interested in facing the challenge and standing her ground. She apparently had nothing to fight for. She had no passion for anything but protecting her fragile image. Rather than get a little dust-up and likely pulverizing the goth slave, she wished to remain pristine. Interesting. In the world of darkness, such as it is, Malin still believes she can waltz through it clean and make demands of it. Arsenio shook his head sadly and waved off the goth slave. "She is not worth your efforts my pet," he remarked. "Her pride is more important than her place and she would much rather insult her host within one of his havens and toss accusations than prove she can stand her ground and fight for something-- in this case, she won't even fight for her own artistic cause and endeavor of expression. She comes to me for help and won't even pay for it. She assumes the Toreador Primogen works for free... huh or that our Guild does charity work? When she can prove she has the passion and desire to thrust her expression to the Kindred public, then perhaps we may have something. All she has proven thus far, is that she has no courage to stand on-- only the shell of pride." "And I offered her hospitality and assistance. I warned her as well. She came willingly into my abode. Now she can leave." Seems she cannot bear with the Toreador. Seems she expects Roses to have no thorns. |

Why? Why was he talking like that? As if she did not try? She was fighting it, the situation could become so much worse and the Primogen did not see, was he blind? Why did they have a blind Primogen? It was better to just leave. The thought that stayed as it all weighed down on her. She never liked disappointing a Primogen, but the demand had been to great, now she ended up where she had avoided to be. Stress, it was not good for her. Instead of stepping over pillows and other things in her way in her usual gracious matter she took a little jump, as if it was game, touch nothing but the floor. Her face seemed to have shaken off all the worry as she slowly made her way towards the door. Singing, yes, she was singing. Anyone not knowing Swedish would only hear the melody to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. "Can you see a drop of blood? Where can I find a drop of blood? All around me it seems to flow Take a knife and let it show. I could drink a drop of blood I could drink a whole blood flood." She stopped, now merely a few steps away from the door, shaking her head. "I am hungry." For a little while she looked back at all the girls, thinking about letting her teeth sink into them. It was more that she was peckish, however in her current state she did not know the difference between that and hunger. Would she dare? Perhaps she could ask? But he was angry. For a moment she did not know what to do with herself, causing her hands to play with her green skirt, her eyes to be big and wander through the room and her feet to nervously turn on the floor. A strange combination of movements, all hinting towards nervous expectations, which changed just as suddenly as it has started when she decided it was not worth the risk, what if he yelled at her? "He is scary. He wont give me candy now." She whispered to the closest girl before she walked all the way up to the door, ready to leave the room. "Perhaps Sally can help me? She might have candy. No she is stupid." |
