The Kindred Chronicle
Key Figures
THE MONSTER OF EALING
Last night, several people reported the sighting of a "screaming red monster" in a quiet neighbourhood of Ealing. After a power shortage in the area, a building caught fire. It was then when, what was described as a "man shaped, footless creature" emerged from the flames, leaping, running, and screaming. One woman has told our reporters that the man had "teeth like a wolf, and the face of the devil". Police officers are still trying to get to the bottom of this; neither the power shortage nor the fire have still been explained. A spokesperson from Scotland Yard has stated that the "so called monster" might be a wounded person, escaping the fire.

TRAGEDY IN TOOLEY STREET
The police has found the bodies of three TFL workers in the construction site at Tooley Street. One of their colleagues raised the alarms last week, when the three workers didn't attend their shifts. The bodies of the men have been found in a deep hole, uncovered by the refurbishment works that are taking place in the area. According to the Police, the bodies were horribly mutilated, which has led to the wildest speculations. The names of the three workers are being kept anonymous, following the wishes of their families.

HOROSCOPE
MARCH 8 - PISCES
You are used to making sacrifices, to prioritising the happiness of others before yours. Even though that is a noble attitude, there are times in life where the only healthy alternative is to embrace your own selfishness and allow yourself some enjoyment. Reserve one hour per day to do something you really like. Treat yourself! Your colour for this month is blue.
Echoes from the past ring back into London. Their intensity increases until they are deafening. What once was a faded memory of a glorious time, now becomes a shocking reality. The consequences of actions taken decades ago ripple into the present, altering the lives of everybody in the City. Unguided and blind, Kindred wander around, trying to make profit out of the reigning chaos.

The appearance of four mysterious figures turned the city upside down. Mistrust and jealousy became the official currency of London. Serpents and fiends rise to power, misdirecting the blaming eyes of the Camarilla towards imaginary enemies. Only those with clear vision and the ability to trust each other strive, while the rest run towards a shallow grave.

Welcome To The Night

You find yourself in London on a dreary, foggy night like any other. But what lurks in the shadows is the stuff of fantasies and nightmares, far from mortal reality.

This game uses the cursed and immortal vampiric condition as a backdrop to explore themes of morality, depravity, the human condition, salvation, and personal horror. We are a writing and roleplaying community dedicated to telling complex and engaging stories.

Your fate is your own. Mingle among the ivory-tower elite in the Camarilla, join the fight of the discontented and chaotic Anarch rabble, or set out independently and attempt to survive in London's nighttime underworld. Anything is possible in our World of Darkness.

Astrid's Theme

It started with the spreading of rumors... the passing of invites via word of mouth... the passing of texts and messages... the quick nod, the flash of a blinking eye in a drive by on the streets of Grove Ward or Soho or Green Street just outside of Twilight Chimes. One night became two... and three... and a week... followed by two weeks. And in that time, the pressure was always building inside Astrid. Pressure also fueled by hate, anger, restlessness, frustration, and finally determination.

Someone needed to blow the lid off all this secrecy and bust a hole in the wall that seemed to separate the neonate from the Primogen. There were far too many questions and no one was providing any real answers or any answers for that matter. Perhaps the Primogen their "underlings" weren't worthy of answers or explanations. Why the distance? Why the secrecy and segregation? Why the absence of the Prince? Who was truly in charge of London? Who was calling the shots, really? Was it Sheriff Furlong? Was it someone among the Primogen? Where the hell was the Prince?

There were so many rumors... so many Kindred feeling like lost sheep without a shepherd. So many hints of civil war among the clans. So many rumors of Primogen carving up feeding grounds and turf and territories in a frenzy of self-serving assholes-- leaving the neonates spinning in circles and starving in a confused state of bewildered paranoia. No one dared to lurk in the territories of the Primogen or elders. No one knew where they could stand, let alone feed. The nonsense needed to end.

And if there was a grievance-- and there were many on the tip of Astrid's lips-- who would advocate on her behalf? Was her Primogen? Cozying up with Sheriff Furlong as those he was her pet? The bookworm librarian was pushing her buttons and pulling too many strings. She needed to be humbled, Astrid thought.

She believed the Camarilla of London was in disarray-- utter chaos and discord. Someone needed to step up and say something and do something.

But what? Spreading the word was the first step. But not through usual channels, no. Not in the ways in which the Primogen could interfere or intercede. This was a movement for the Neonates, by the Neonates, for the Neonates... this was going to be their revolution.

Who would answer the clarion call for change? Who would come to demand answers of their so-called superiors?

Her presence was seen in the clubs of Soho... perhaps some Toreador would arrive. Her presence was known in Grove Ward... were there other Brujah? She tormented and staked out the Claremont Club and Westminster and the neighborhoods of Chelsea and Kensington... would the Ventrue finally step up and accept her challenge? She certainly dominated the scenery back home around Twilight Chimes and the boroughs of East London... would anyone dare to break the wall with her? Anyone crazy enough to demand a real leader in London?
