Rather than use the shout out purely, I thought starting a new thread would be a bit more effective in getting oriented. So I do undeerstand that I need to wait for admin approval, but I also know that both admins have been away, so wanted to make sure the status quo is to still wait, and cross my fingers? I can work with that, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  Also, as apparently I'm the only person with a Camarilla at the moment, I'm curious to hear thoughts on a good way to start. I'm certaily not against a skirmish, but those get old fast without some meaningful character interaction and character building in between. Probably the most important question I have is where everything's standing right now in-game as far as overall plot? Normally I'd just have my character ask the Prince in character, but as he's away, that doesn't seem as viable. So assuming I can get started in the next couple weeks, what would her initial orientation entail? It seems from the posts I've read and the 'control' of the city is securely Camarilla, but the fact that there aren't any Cammy PCs left suggests to me it may not stay that way for long. Other than that, thanks for the warm welcome. As I mentioned in the shout outs, the layout and potential of this site is really impressive. Shame for the lack of activity, but thems the breaks sometimes. |

Hang on a tick, mate ! What exactly do you think I am ? The neighbours ?^^ There are active Cammies they're just few and far between. I am one member of this slightly elitistic group, Mr. Harris is another one (at times). So let me congratulate your descision to join the best group on the board instead of the more numerous. Good choice ! Oh, and another thing: Don't take the threats of that Sabbat scum too seriously. She's the only active Tzimmie at trhe moment and just wants to make herself sound like something to be afraid of. Heard that happens to folks who get too many 'friends' too soon. Gets to their head.

Ah okay, good to know. At least that takes care of the issue of who to interact with. Still, I'm a bit concerned about the absence of both admins for over a month it looks like. If I need to wait a week or two, I can definately do that, but waiting a month or over seems a bit extreme. Does anyone know the best way to contact either to just let them know of the application? Should I just send a PM and see if it pops up in their e-mail? |

... let me rephrase. My concern and question is thus: Will an admin come eventually as time allows to approve Sera or not, or is the community in the dark as to whether either admin will come back? |

The way I see it, one of the bosses skips in whenever time allows for it. This will happen surely,we just don't know exactly when. Write a PM to the Loki and NSC acc's, perhaps it resolves matters. |

Not sure if NPC can approve chars... I'll need to ask the player behind it. As for the numbers argument itself, the camarilla has the most total application, the sabbat only has the highest number of people who -stayed-. As for the Tzim, Well, sure, you should be fine as as long as you're able to draw a line and make the difference between that fledgling and the others. |

Cool all. Thanks for the replies, reading the shoutbox it looks like NPC is taking a look. ... is that outfit what I think it is Katrina? Oh dear, my character whose pre-embrace history including being a guerilla fighter in Crete during World War II may take exception. |

You can read my profile, if you have the courage. It redefines the notion of "wall of text" o the point it doesn't even fit in one post. But yeah, it is. My character never served in that area though. |

I don't mean that my character and yours necessarily have a shared history, only that Sera holds a special hatred from before her embrace for the uniform and anyone wearing it. Given occupational forces killed her parents, friends, neighbors, etc and all. |

That is curious. I had actually written most of the backstory beforehand for a play-by-post game which sadly never was launched. The game's setting was just after WWII, hence the background tied closely to it. |
