Did a little thing for myself, to get some idea how London is arranged: Spoiler: click to toggle The question is: Would anyone appreciate higher quality version, with areas color-coded depending on sect control, with the possibility of adding in-game landmarks (clubs, offices, safe-houses, locations of recent events...), and other stuff like that? Latest version: ![]() Also, if you are interested in where what is, here is some other possibly relevant London stuff: (If desirable, they could be used as a basis for the map of London landmarks) Bridges of London - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bridges_in_London Under-Thames Tunnels - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunnels_underneath_the_River_Thames Other underground stuff - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subterranean_London Churches - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_churches_in_London Cemeteries - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cemeteries_in_London Islands of London (upstream order) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islands_in_the_River_Thames Frog Island, Rainham (Borough of Havering) Chiswick Eyot, Chiswick Oliver's Island, Kew Brentford Ait, Brentford Lot's Ait, Brentford Isleworth Ait, Isleworth Corporation Island, Richmond Glover's Island, Twickenham Eel Pie Island, Twickenham Swan Island, Twickenham Trowlock Island, Teddington Steven's Eyot, Kingston upon Thames Raven's Ait, Kingston upon Thames/Surbiton Boyle Farm Island, Thames Ditton Thames Ditton Island, Thames Ditton Ash Island, East Molesey Tagg's Island, Hampton Court Garrick's Ait, Hampton Benn's Island, Hampton Platts Eyot, Hampton (Borough of Richmond upon Thames) Useful links: http://www.citypopulation.de/php/uk-admin.php Edited by TheJersy, Tuesday, 5. Theoretically yes, but I think that the areas subsummed under the boards are a bit bigger than their respective namesakes on the map, as Sabbat and Anarchs would have areas completely surrounded by 'enemy', or at least thats what I found when I came up with a map idea back in the days...^^. As Loki and Mael are the bosses, I guess they should be able to say something about that. |

Just to illustrate it a bit, I'll include the map I referred to earlier...![]() I think its easy to see, that some other areas that are not mentioned for the sake of simplicity (This is a VtM board and not Sim City, after all...) should be included into certain sects area of influence, in this particular case Im referring to boroughs like Islington, Waltham Forest or Barnet. So Id think Loki or Mael should say a few thing in regards to that first. Edited by Renard, Monday, 29. October 2012, 19:40.

Sure thing - I didn't intend to just go and color it by myself, then fling it around as some official stuff, or anything. Indeed, any input from the actual GameMaster figures would be greately appreciated. EDIT: Just to get some idea of current distribution of power, I added the sect symbols (and made it bigger in the process): Spoiler: click to toggle Current power distribution: Camarilla: - City of London - City of Westminster - Kensington & Chelsea - Brent (shared with Anarchs) - Ealing - Hounslow - Richmond upon Thames - Kingston upon Thames - Sutton - Redbridge (shared with Sabbat) Sabbat: - Camden - Hackney - Redbridge (shared with Camarilla) Anarchs: - Brent (shared with Camarilla) - Enfield ------------------------ As Renard pointed out, many boroughs are unassigned and Anarch and Sabbat controlled areas are quite isolated. Now, not meaning to impose anything, I give you "The Extrapolated Control Map of London" (how it might look in the end): Spoiler: click to toggle Extrapolated power distribution: Camarilla: - City of London - City of Westminster - Kensington & Chelsea - Brent (shared with Anarchs) - Ealing - Hounslow - Richmond upon Thames - Kingston upon Thames - Sutton - Hammersmith & Fullham - Wandsworth - Lambeth - Southwark - Merton - Lewisham - Greenwich - Tower Hamlets - Newham - Redbridge (shared with Sabbat) Sabbat: - Camden - Islington - Hackney - Waltham Forest - Haringey - Havering (Shared with Anarchs) - Barking & Dagenham - Redbridge (shared with Camarilla) Anarchs: - Barnet - Harrow - Brent (shared with Camarilla) - Enfield - Havering (Shared with Sabbat) - Bexley - Bromley - Croydon This extrapolated map would show Camarilla holding most of the area around Thames with 17 boroughs, with Anarch boroughs situated in the north-west and south-east, controlling 6 boroughs in total, and Sabbat invading deep into the center of London from the north-east, having also 6 boroughs under control. Furthermore, each sect would have one borough in common with one other sect, giving us three "contested" boroughs. Of course, actual power distribution might be quite different, please consider this to be a "demoversion" of sorts. (Control might be either symbol-coded as seen on the pictures, or color-coded... And there might be whatever additional features agreed upon by the masters of these here forums) Edited by TheJersy, Tuesday, 20. November 2012, 23:02.

Spoiler: click to toggle Okay, I butchered it up a little, since it's not supposed to be the final thing anyway... But it should be enough to give you some sort of visual preview. No labels or anything, just borough borders, Thames, and color-coded area control (Sabbat - Dark, Camarilla - Semi-dark, Anarchs - Light, Contested areas - mixed up colors) REMINDER: Power distribution shown on the picture has no basis on official sources, it is only a very rough extrapolation, and WILL change, once provided with up-to-date information. Objection ! ^^ Barking is definitely not Sabbat. The way I understood it, Barking is Cam, with Redbridge counting as Sabbat. I'd also count Haringey towards the anarchs than regarding it as sabbat. My two cents. |

Well, I'm going to wait with any changes until I get some official info - then I'll update it all at once (no point in reuploading it every time I change the color of one or two boroughs). |

This is excellent Jersey - I would continue to develop this as it can be useful. Generally at the moment the Sabbat hold the east and north east, Anarchs hold bits of the north - the rest is camarilla. I would also use a different colour scheme - at the moment it all blends into one. But yes as I said - this is very useful and you hard work is excellent |

Spoiler: click to toggle A bit altered area-control map. As suggested, color theme was changed and Sabbat is shown controlling areas in the east and north-east, Anarchs have small territories in the north. For further tweaking, please provide specific names of boroughs in need of recolorification (including possible contested areas) ;-) -------------------- Mapping plan: Step 1: Determine area control (in progress) Step 2: Label the boroughs Step 3: Fill in the locations of notable landmarks and important locations Step 4 (optional): Make specialized maps (i.e.: "Map of havens", "Churches and cemeteries" and whatnot) Edited by TheJersy, Tuesday, 20. Id keep the Sabbat north of the Riverwith a border to the centre as before as a possible compensation and the Anarchs territory should be one bloc instead of two. |

Hm you make a fair point - it appears that Islington lies in the middle. Well the camarilla might take over those places and push you futher east. It may be a good idea Jersey to have the areas marked over the colours so we people know what areas are controlled etc. |

Okay, I wanted to do this later (it requires a slightly more effort to change the color of the areas once the labels are in place) but whatever ;-) Spoiler: click to toggle Also, I have thing for artsy fonts, so if you'd prefer something simpler and cleaner, let me know. This is great - could you not just create this through photoshop with layers? Label the layers? Then all you have to do is change the color of that particular label. If you have done this via photoshop I would be keen for the file. I'll pin this topic as it is useful. |

Spoiler: click to toggle Okay, I retweaked it a bit, tried to pull off the reddish blood-like colour scheme again, and matched the background to the one used on these forums. I also preserved the .psd file --> Mael, if you want it, just tell me where to mail it ;-) Edited by TheJersy, Tuesday, 20. November 2012, 23:04.
