The Kindred Chronicle
Key Figures
THE MONSTER OF EALING
Last night, several people reported the sighting of a "screaming red monster" in a quiet neighbourhood of Ealing. After a power shortage in the area, a building caught fire. It was then when, what was described as a "man shaped, footless creature" emerged from the flames, leaping, running, and screaming. One woman has told our reporters that the man had "teeth like a wolf, and the face of the devil". Police officers are still trying to get to the bottom of this; neither the power shortage nor the fire have still been explained. A spokesperson from Scotland Yard has stated that the "so called monster" might be a wounded person, escaping the fire.

TRAGEDY IN TOOLEY STREET
The police has found the bodies of three TFL workers in the construction site at Tooley Street. One of their colleagues raised the alarms last week, when the three workers didn't attend their shifts. The bodies of the men have been found in a deep hole, uncovered by the refurbishment works that are taking place in the area. According to the Police, the bodies were horribly mutilated, which has led to the wildest speculations. The names of the three workers are being kept anonymous, following the wishes of their families.

HOROSCOPE
MARCH 8 - PISCES
You are used to making sacrifices, to prioritising the happiness of others before yours. Even though that is a noble attitude, there are times in life where the only healthy alternative is to embrace your own selfishness and allow yourself some enjoyment. Reserve one hour per day to do something you really like. Treat yourself! Your colour for this month is blue.
Echoes from the past ring back into London. Their intensity increases until they are deafening. What once was a faded memory of a glorious time, now becomes a shocking reality. The consequences of actions taken decades ago ripple into the present, altering the lives of everybody in the City. Unguided and blind, Kindred wander around, trying to make profit out of the reigning chaos.

The appearance of four mysterious figures turned the city upside down. Mistrust and jealousy became the official currency of London. Serpents and fiends rise to power, misdirecting the blaming eyes of the Camarilla towards imaginary enemies. Only those with clear vision and the ability to trust each other strive, while the rest run towards a shallow grave.

Welcome To The Night

You find yourself in London on a dreary, foggy night like any other. But what lurks in the shadows is the stuff of fantasies and nightmares, far from mortal reality.

This game uses the cursed and immortal vampiric condition as a backdrop to explore themes of morality, depravity, the human condition, salvation, and personal horror. We are a writing and roleplaying community dedicated to telling complex and engaging stories.

Your fate is your own. Mingle among the ivory-tower elite in the Camarilla, join the fight of the discontented and chaotic Anarch rabble, or set out independently and attempt to survive in London's nighttime underworld. Anything is possible in our World of Darkness.

Vanth shrugged. He didn't know shit about this Blackwell affair. Apart from the blowing up of the things, of course. He supposed that it should bother him, but really, that kind of mess one usually did not want to get involved in. Even if it wouldn't hurt to make a play for more information. Information was always useful.

"Nobody 'round here really speaks for the Anarchs. You could ask the Baron, but there's half a dozen 'narchs who believe she's The Man's lackey. Not that they've got their own alternative, mind. They're just gonna go paint the town and piss people off for lulz, or so they led us all to believe."

He made a face, suggesting that he wasn't one of those people.

"As for common cause? Fuck that. The only reason Blackwell's here is to overthrow the capes. Why should we help em out? Sit back and watch the fireworks, is what I'm saying."

"Anarchists," Moshe snorted in disdain, "They just want an excuse to piss off mummy and daddy by causing trouble. Anything for attention. Those idiots would not understand actual activism and revolution if it bit them in the arse. Just want to poke fires with sticks until they get burned."

The pen twirled between his fingers, the fidgeting taking on a more agitated tone.

"Which would not be too bad if they were not going to drag us into the fires with them. Because bigger picture, what is that? We actually have to care about the potential backlash and consequences our actions may cause?"

There was a sharp intake of breath when the pen, cheap plastic that it was, splintered in a too tight grip. Moshe swore softly, picking at the remains and taking care not to spill the ink, distracted from what had seemed to be another brewing rant.

Pierre sat back and thought over what both the men had said. He pursed his wrinkled lips as he considered. The opinions expressed caught him a bit off guard. Perhaps the Anarch movement in London was less organized then what he was used to. Hell, in Paris there was two groups of Anarchs, one more radical then the other.

...I couldn't be sure if these men were Anarchs of course, perhaps they simply considered themselves independent. The men seemed aware of what was going on in the city, but I thought I sensed some... indifference. I can respect that choice, I suppose, though I disagree with it. All kindred had to find their way though the night the best they could...

One thing stood out that Pierre wanted to clarify. He asked 'Jean-Luc' "When you say the Baron seems to be The Man's lackey, are you referring to the prince, specifically? Might I ask if this is something more then rumor? What has she done, or not done?"
The world ended the day disco died...
