Welcome to Dark Sagacities the following are the rules to live by when it comes to the site. Let us know if you have any questions. This is a 0 Drama Zone. This rule used to have a fine line that you could walk on but due to recent changes this rule will now be enforced. If you bring OOC drama to Site you will be banned. Anime it's self is full of dramatics for some reason so understand you won’t get along with everyone. Keep your personal differences off the site and on AIM or private PMs. No God Modding. With a stat-less system this can be easy to do. If you walk around with an E-Ego bigger than the internet and try to God Mod a member you will be called on it. If your god modding on purpose you will be on suspension. See the battle system for more information on God Modding. Be a team player. Try to stay away from clicks and be open to all new members. We all come from different backgrounds but as a member of this site you’re expected to treat everyone with the respect they deserve. If you’re going to troll know who you’re trolling some people cannot handle it and shouldn’t have to endure it because you think you’re big and bad. Staff rank and responsibilities: Owners- Pay for the site and have the final say in changes etc. Admins – Oversee all other staff members have second to final say in the site. If there is no Owner around they are the ultimate law. Admins can do anything required on the site including validating new users through the admin control panel. They can approve changes to content etc. Taku trusts these people to make decisions without him being around. (DO NOT BUG MY ADMINS FOR SOMETHING YOU HAVE BEEN DENIED BY A MOD) Mods - Moderators focus mainly on grading RPs, approving new members, and upgrading. Mods are vital to maintaining the system. All staff members are able to ban in Cbox and warn on the forums. Please read the following. Do not ban unless you have followed the following system – Thank you for saving me a headache. Concerning Conflicts – Mods can help solve conflicts between members. They are not to be biased towards someone they do not like vs. someone they do like. If an confliction occurs where a mod cannot be unbiased they must refer an unbiased mod or admin to the situation. 5 Minute Bans for a time out are acceptable. However I would appreciate if you WARN the person before the ban. 1. Written warning of inappropriate cbox conduct. 2. The 2nd time say something like this :“I am going to be banning you for 5 minutes to give you some time to cool down. After this time is up I would like the matter dropped due to the fact Cbox is a no drama zone.” If the member comes back in 5 minutes and continues to rant: 3. “I am going to be banning you for 30 minutes to give you more time to cool down. If you come back in 30 minutes and haven’t taken this matter elsewhere I will be referring your disciplinary action to an admin.” - Ban permanently. 4. At this point please PM Me and keep the member banned until I have had time to look things over.. please note the date and time so I can review the log. We are able to view the logs. Tell us your side of things as well. A lot of times conflicts are misunderstood through clogged lines of communications. If you're not comfortable with pming me... pm another admin or one of the Mod, eventually it'll get back to me so your just running around in circles. This is a rated mature site. Do not ban people unless they are actually breaking rules. If they are disrupting other members you may warn them. Keep in mind some members are never going to change their ways because it is the way they are. In this situation I advise all members to IGNORE other members that they do not mesh with. I do believe there is an option on the actual forums to ignore people. If you know someone is going to cause trouble because they have a history of “trolling” when they are mad then you can ban them for a 30 minute cool down. Also ban guest trolls on site. I have no time for idiots. And they can go "Fuck Themselves" This will be posted where members can view it as well. The information is open to the public so I suggest you follow this format in order to prevent future dramatics. Member's Rights: As a member of Ultimate Pride you have the right to an unbiased representative to speak on your behalf. We will try to treat you fairly but if you think you're being singled out and want to appeal any bans or processes please contact another admin or site owner. You have the right to a drama free roleplay opportunity. No OOC crap is to be brought on this forum between two people. If you see someone talking between each other about personal matters that are of no concern to you then do not mock them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Simple and Easy to follow Rules. (Very first rule of Dark Sagacities is, we dun talk about Dark Sagacities....LOL Too funny, that's not really even a rule but on to the real rules.) 1. Be Creative: Let your imagination flourish on this site. I (Taku) could careless on what you do within your RPs, but please be descriptive and logical. 2. Be Respectful: As in the rules, We do not allow OOC drama on the site. You got a problem with a member and have no other way to express your anger? Take that shit to PM or an Instant Messenger. 3. No God-Modding: We all know everyone has an ego or e-ego, but just plain auto hitting people is fuckin rude! Oh and don't let me get started on those 1 hit kill people. No, just No, you can go fuck yourself for all that. 4. Keep your IRL problems to yourself: Now time and time again, I've seen it happen. Rpers get a little too comfortable with their fellow RPers, they'll form little clicks, reveal personal information that some people might incriminate and use against another RPer for the spite of hell. So really, just keep your offline self to a complete minimum. I'm not saying don't make friends but don't leave yourself wide open for others to mess with you later down the line. 5. Be Active: This is simple, no one likes to have their RPs held up because someone is too lazy to get a post in or decides that it's beneath them to post. Speaking of which, Any topic that has been left open for over 2 weeks will be thrown into grading despite if it's done of not. 6. Follow the Rules Fully: <----As simple as that, there are no ways to getting around or bending the rules. So just follow them and you'll be alright with everyone. |
