So far, Rome. By far
I am enjoying Spartacus now that it found its footing though
Rome, but it is a LOT closer than I was actually expecting

Rome had better story by far. Spartacus focused on action, sex and entertainment

I think Rome had better characters overall too. Atia & Antony <3

The story of Spartacus is one of the most fascinating of all time. Though the fall of the Roman Republic is interesting, too.

It's close, but I'm thinking Spartacus on account of the leads. I never quite gave a shit about Titus or Blonde Guy. Rome probably has the better villains, though.

I really liked Pullo and Vorenus

That said, I DO agree that Spartacus had much better heroes as a whole. Rome kicks its ass in terms of villains though. Atia, Octavian, Antony, Servilia.....

I'd say Rome, but as a whole, I think Spartcus was a bit stronger. S1 of Rome was fantastic there's no denying that, but S2 was a bit lackluster, especially if you compared it to S2.

The steel was polished to such a high sheen that she could see her reflection in the breastplate, gazing back at her as if from the bottom of a deep green pond.
The face of a drowned woman, Catelyn thought. Can you drown in grief?
She turned away sharply, angry with her own frailty. She had no time for the luxury of self-pity.
