The Scarehouse follows two former sorority girls, Corey and Elaina, who set up a Halloween fun house on Devil’s Night for the local college crowd. When the scaring commences their motivations are revealed to be far more sinister as the fun house is bait for a more specific prey: their six former sorority classmates. Once lured inside, their collective history is unraveled as the pair inflicts a terrifying brand of sisterhood.

The plot sounds kinda interesting
That said, LMAO @ the poster

So hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry, for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

They really didn't. Its almost an exact clone, right down to the coloring and scratch effect

I'm kinda curious, though...out of all the horror movie posters in the world to pick from, why would they choose to copy the poster of one of the worst horror flicks to come out in 2008? seems kinda...stupid :)

Probably just because Prom Night's poster kinda slays.

I doubt the movie is a rip off

There are certain rules one must abide by to successfully survive a horror movie
I'm guessing they just wanted to do an inspired poster?

This sounds very interesting - yet it comes off low-budgeted. From the poster (looks a bit cheap compared to the original's) and the plot comes off as a B-Movie that is trying to be 80s inspired.
