That trailer looked great, but I'm so worried with the changes, since D&D's changes have been a hit or miss. I'm sure it's gonna be a fantastic season, though.

The steel was polished to such a high sheen that she could see her reflection in the breastplate, gazing back at her as if from the bottom of a deep green pond.
The face of a drowned woman, Catelyn thought. Can you drown in grief?
She turned away sharply, angry with her own frailty. She had no time for the luxury of self-pity.

YASSSS :excited: I love it
NOT THE FIRST FOUR EPISODES LEAKING :dead:
Not binging. Gonna draw them out to experience them in full
Wow. Season 5 is amazing. I don't even care that they ditched the books, this is a million times better than Book 4 was and I think most of the changes are going to end in the same place anyways, just a more interesting route to get there.
Err.. I know I'm not the only one watching Season 5 here.
YAS @ a new episode this weekend

OJGIJEJIIJPEGIJEJI CERSEI YOU BITCH

So apparently ep6 is controversial. Not for managing to make Arya scenes boring, but for said Sansa rape. https://twitter.com/search?q=%22Game%20of%20Thrones%22&src=tren&trend_id=TREND_CONTEXT%3A600714893189349376

Uh, last I checked, Ramsay is an evil psychopath and bad things happen on this show. I wasn't really expecting a pleasant honeymoon.

I actually kinda liked the Arya stuff :wtf2: It is weak compared to what I expected though. ANd that rape was toned DOWN from the books (Theon is forced to join in) :skull: What the fuck @ book readers bitching?

Agreed on Ramsay too. I thought it was effectively disturbing and unsettling and also completely in character. It felt like he was punishing and Theon for not locking arms like he wanted

I do have a problem when rape scenes are used for a cheap shock, but in this case I would have been more shocked if Ramsay DIDN'T do something like that. And yikes. But I think how it was done on the show was enough. Especially since Theon's face is what made it so painful to watch.

Don't get me wrong, I've liked Arya's scenes so far. But in this one they just went on way too long. Felt like half the episode. I mean, I'm not watching a swords and sorcery show to see someone clean shit.

Agreed on the cheap shock stuff, but it just felt natural FOR Ramsay to... uhh.. yeah. He's a sadistic psychopath and it's basically what he does.

Ohhhhh, in THAT case I agree. Definitely too much. There were interesting parts, but they did need trimming.

When Sophie Turner isn't bitching about the character she has to play, other ppl can chill. At least it was something that actually happened in the book (and more held back than in the book) instead of making the scene come off differently. *cough*Daenerys&Drogo*cough*

Dany and Drogo in the book was STILL rapey. He was a bit softer and nicer going into it, but she was going to have sex with him whether she wanted to or not. Jaime and Cersei would be a much better example, though that's a whooooole new can of worms

Thought this was an interesting flip perspective, since you don't usually see both sides going head to head during these: http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/05/19/game-of-thrones-is-relentlessly-sexist-but-not-against-women/
