Dany and Drogo in the book was STILL rapey. He was a bit softer and nicer going into it, but she was going to have sex with him whether she wanted to or not. Jaime and Cersei would be a much better example, though that's a whooooole new can of worms

Thought this was an interesting flip perspective, since you don't usually see both sides going head to head during these: http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/05/19/game-of-thrones-is-relentlessly-sexist-but-not-against-women/
Fair enough @ those two tho since it's messing with his character, but lol @ ppl wanting to bitch NOW about something, like, you've been watching the show for 4 seasons & weren't bothered till now? K then.

Well, there has been a fair bit of bitching. They were also outraged when Oberyn had his head crushed. It was all "not enough comeuppance for the bad guys" and "I'm not watching anymore, GRRM hurts my feelings".

What do they expect when this is supposed to be fairly grounded in realism. Life isn't fair.

Forget about the bloody gods and lsiten to what I'm telling you
They've been saying that since episode 2 when Sansa's dog died and ep 3 had the highest ratings of the show.
And then in ep 9 when Ned died, ratings went up for 10.
And then the red wedding
Then Jaime/Cersei
Then Oberyn
Then no Stoneheart

It's a regular thing :dead:

The fact people are bitching the rape did NOT happen in the books.
God, people are so fucking stupid. I'm also not sure how they can claim there's zero plot relevance, since this is basically the scene that

I also don't see how anyone can argue that Sansa was raped in the show while Dany was NOT raped in her first chapter off the books. It might as well be the exact same situation. Sure, Dany does give a very half-hearted, meaningless "yes," at the end, but she's crying, incredibly reluctant, incredibly uncomfortable, and thinking about how much she doesn't want to do this. Much lke Sansa. Also like Sansa, the only reason she doesn't fight it is because she's afraid of the consequences. Consent is not considered valid, legally or ethically, when you are being pressured into sex through methods like intimidation.
Oh hey, this article basically hits most of my feelings perfectly: http://www.rawstory.com/2015/05/all-hopefully-of-the-bad-arguments-about-rape-on-game-of-thrones-debunked/

Anyways, crazy hyped for next episode. Can't wait to see the ratings go up

Some actually did quit too, no less. Ratings dropped. Social Justice Warriors are so very, very annoying.
Oh, hey, they're casting more Greyjoys
They're saying the season 5 finale is going to be bigger than the Red Wedding :excited:

I'm absolutely suspecting that, though it's possible the title is relating to Cersei's imprisonment (The Mother is one of Westeros gods and she's the merciful one, so)

If they follow the books closely for one part... There is something else big that could happen
