I'm suspecting Spoiler: click to toggle LSH. The ep is called "Mother's Mercy"... At an arm wrestling gig so I'll probably be late for tonight's ep.
I'm absolutely suspecting that, though it's possible the title is relating to Cersei's imprisonment (The Mother is one of Westeros gods and she's the merciful one, so) If they follow the books closely for one part... There is something else big that could happen Does it have anything to do with [spoiler[Cersei walking naked down the street? Don't know the context, but set photos leaked of that.
Also, is it possible that one zombie that kept appearing and raised the dead at the end in this last episode is LSH?

Spoiler: click to toggle Exactly what I was referring to in part 1, not the other big thing that could happen. Well, not the main one And.... no. LSH does not have resurrecting powers And she's not a white walker. And she'd be played by Michelle Fairley :toofunnty3: Best part of tonight's episode: watching the Stan Stans have collosal meltdowns. Fuck the Red Wedding, those stand are so annoyingly up Stannis' ass that it was hilarious to watch them accuse the showrunners of sabotaging his character (then saying GRRM has no talent when it turned out this was his idea) or desperately grasping at straws to justify it (seriously, before this episode, he never did a single thing wrong. Literally everything was the "right" choice, morally. Total perfection in human form. And they were really vocal, really obnoxious, and loved to attack every other character on the show)
I have waited years for this moment. Truly the most satisfying event in the entire season. Especially since they love to bring up Jaime's window incident. Ohhhhhhh the ammo I now have.
Aside from that, Dany's storyline is kicking into gear

I have waited years for this moment. Truly the most satisfying event in the entire season. On the other hand, a pretty disturbing scene.....
Wait, how are they justifying it? Even that wretched mom wasn't here for it. Poor scaley girl, I liked her.
Hooray for Lord Friendzone. Poor fiance guy. That guy was about this close to hate-fucking Daenerys Targaryen. And yeah, her and Jon Snow's scenes are moving along quite nicely after sorta being in limbo for three seasons.

Oh, no doubt it was twisted and disturbing in show.
Most have accepted that he's fucked up and are trying to figure out how to prove GRRM/the showrunners tried to sabotage his character. But a few are saying "Sacrifice the one to save the many." Basically, Mel said her red god wants Shireen dead, so either be sacrificed Shireen or everyone dies in the war. Since a crazy religious fanatic is clearly a reliable source and it makes perfect sense that murdering some girl will somehow completely change a battle in your favor (the biggest impact it would have is destroying morale), he's totally justified in sacrificing her for "the greater good." Stannis fans are really delusional and obsessed with him being right.
Seriously poor fiancé guy. He didn't even like her and got zero benefit from that marriage. And most definitely. I won't complain much about either. WOW @ the leaked pics. This finale is gonna be fun
Some non-spoiler (aka totally my own theory) predictions
Spoiler: click to toggle Stannis wins the battle for Winterfell, Brienne kills Stannis Sansa either kills Ramsay, Myranda, or both Arya kills Meryn Trant Sandsnakes and Ellaria kill Bronn or Mycerella One of the Tyrells (Olenna or Loras) dies next episode or early on next season No Stoneheart Five deaths. Minimum. Probably closer to, like, eight. This is gonna be a fucking bloodbath Lemme check my predictions:
Spoiler: click to toggle Stannis lost. Brienne did potentially kill him, but it's kinda ambiguous. Myranda died, unfortunately Sansa didn't off her. Theon did Accurate Ellaria does indeed kill Mycerella No Tyrell death yet, but we still have next year. No Stoneheart. Ignoring Stannis, I JUST made the cut of five named characters dying. Considering I expected there to be 2 more from the books which didn't make this season, not too bad. Though not the bloodbath I was expecting for sure
Finale itself was quite good, though 4 reigns supreme. Favorite scene was easily Cersei's, by faaaaar. Absolutely amazing. Second would be Jaime/Mycerella.
Spoiler: click to toggle I did NOT see that death coming omg. I was waiting for something to happen but I didn't even consider the damn poison. And it was SO HEARTWARMING as well

Spoiler: click to toggle Yay, Theon's back!
Never thought I'd feel sorry for Cersei, or be rooting for her and The Mountain, but I hope they kick that cult fucker's ass.
Me and my brother both called Mycerella. The Dornish have a fondness for sneaky poison tricks, plus a kiss on the lips from an enemy is literally called "a kiss of death". Jon on the other hand was kind of a shock. Though somehow I don't think he'll stay dead. Did this scene happen in the books?
If Brienne had killed Stannis in the last three seasons I would have played that on a loop for the next 4 days while blowing on party horns, but Stannis...was actually kind of interesting this season for a change. Oh well. Good night, sweet prince.

Spoiler: click to toggle Well, having read the books, Mycerella is still alive with a role to play. Bronn's role is completely and totally done. There were also beheading rumors, so I was kind of prepared for something to happen to Bronn and then Mycerella's nose starts bleeding which I truly did NOT expect. Jon's death is in the books (so I DID know that was coming). And while actor's words don't mean much, Kit Harrington was really adamant that, yes, Jon is dead. For good. I know he also cut his hair which he was contractually obligated to not do until he was done shooting. Interview: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/14/game-thrones-jon-dies-interviewNot convinced Stannis is dead, honestly. I mean, offscreen? Definitely better this season though. How much you want to bet IMDB is whining about Brienne though?

Spoiler: click to toggle Wow...so that's it, then. I mean, as much shit as I gave Jon Snow, I'm kind of sad. The fact that they didn't burn his body, and that the Red Queen is there, really had me convinced he'd be revived somehow.
Why would Brienne spare him, though? And "offscreen" seemed like a taste thing. You didn't really need a gratuitous gore shot.

Spoiler: click to toggle To be fair... They could be lying. They've been surprisingly honest in interviews though, if misleading, but never outright lies before. That is one of the most popular theories in the books too, but I genuinely think part of it is denial.
That I don't get. Maybe one could argue it's dishonorable to kill a broken, defeated man in cold blood, but... As for offscreen, if there's one thing I've learned from TV, never trust a death until you see the dead body with your own eyes. Oh, I DO have to say, I can't believe how many people actually think
Spoiler: click to toggle Jon has to come back because he's the lead of the series and will stand against/stop the whitewalkers. Not only is this literally the most obvious way for it to play out and exactly how any other fantasy series would play out, it has absolutely zero deconstructive elements to it. It's traditional fantasy in every way. I'm saying Jaime will be the hero in the end, and I'm standing by it. It's sure as hell more likely than Jon Snow.

As for offscreen, if there's one thing I've learned from TV, never trust a death until you see the dead body with your own eyes And if it's Joss Whedon, don't trust it even then.
Spoiler: click to toggle But I gotta say, what else is there to do with Stannis? This episode thoroughly closed his storyline. Everyone has died or turned on him, his campaign failed miserably, and he's encountered Brienne. It'd be completely pointless to bring him back.
I never really thought Jon would come out the hero (especially since they're following the fantasy template of the more competent fat best friend), although I am shocked that he died so soon and unceremoniously. Plus, the fact that you hate him so much made me think we were stuck with him for awhile. The fact that GRRM just bent every fantasy expectation ever sort of excuses how cliched and boring he was. This is probably the most shocking death of the series for me. The only reason I wasn't on here with my head exploding was because I was sure he would come back.
As for who WILL be the hero, if it follows the War of the Roses I think it'll come down to a battle between Tyrion and Dany and Dany will win. And unless GRRM is deconstructing, Sam will have some kind of victory.

He doesn't do any resurrecting in Dollhouse or Firefly
Spoiler: click to toggle True, very true. I honestly don't know where else they could take him. In my defense, we did NOT get the hardcore actor confirmation in the books and I didn't learn about it immediately. So I was expecting him to be around for awhile too. I'm shocked as well. I do kind of wonder if Mel will bring him back or something, but IDK. I do know what his FANS say really comes across more as denial than anything else. I wasn't talking Jaime to sit on the Iron Throne. I was talking Jaime to stop the White Walkers. Dany's got a 0% chance since, in the books, it's been prophesized. that Azor Azhai reincarnated does it. And he's male. As for Dany on the throne, that's playing fantasy almost as straight as Jon stopping the White Walkers. Tyrion's already been on the throne, and he doesn't strike me as a warrior to stop the White Walkers. Sam has been happy for approximately 5 seasons/4 books now. He's due pain and we all know it. Same reason why things are about to go very, very, very south for Queen Margaery. Sansa shall be queen, completing her Disney Princess Deconstruction
