Tonight, I shall be watching the 1986 horror classic April Fool's Day.

I purchased it on DVD a few years back, and decided to watch it on the actual day. So on April 1st 2013, I watched. Unfortunately, I had other stuff going on that day and was a bit distracted. Henceforth I didn't get much into the film. As such, I thought I'd give it another try. On April 1st 2014. I quite enjoyed it the second time, but had popped by the pub to perv up the barmaid that I fancied at the time... So, was in a slightly better mood. I liked it.

So, for the third year in a row, I'll watch April Fool's Day. See what I think of it this year. When not distracted or half-cut. Keep the tradition alive.

I could watch it on a day that isn't April 1st, but that would be madness. MADNESS, I SAY!

I've only seen it once. I suppose today would be a pretty solid reason for a rewatch.

Jersey boy for life!
I went looking for this on Netflix yesterday, but no luck. I won't be thwarted next year.

It's not the greatest movie I own, if I'm honest. And probably isn't worth watching every year, but I like a tradition and it probably will get rewatched every year.

It's kind of slow paced, but for all the controversy the ending drew, I thought it was the best part. Kind of a happy ending to a slasher. Though I did guess the twist ending before I'd even watched it.

Not a great film, not a bad one. An okay way to spend 80-odd minutes, without anything too heavy.
