“Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.”

Is this the comeback film for M. Night Shyamalan? The trailer was a mix of Paranormal Activity and The Taking of Deborah Logan, but with a dark sense of humor. I dug it really and think it could be a really fun movie. Hoping for a great twist and not another The Village or The Happening

Trailer is Here

I do not why I have faith in this but with such a low budget, I am assuming Shaymalan went way over the top and can expect a really crazy entertaining film. It is clearly a horror-comedy and I am hoping this a rare found footage film with a "happy ending."

It already looks like Shyamalan's best film since Signs. Granted, that's not saying much, but I still hope he can get out of whatever funk he fell into in the last ten years and make another good film.

I'm almost certain this film was already done in the 80s & was no doubt better because of the lack of found footage.

The buzz for this is great and I am starting to get incredibly excited for this. After Creep I am starting to think this can be another quirky found footage horror comedy from Blumhouse. Plus the trailer did have many memorable and odd moments that I'm excited for.

I really hope this movie trumps The Perfect Guy this weekend. I am rooting for it and am planning to see it Sunday.
