In Siren, a bachelor party becomes a savage fight for survival when the groomsmen unwittingly unleash a fabled predator upon the festivities.

It is a feature film adaptation of the VHS segment "Amateur Night" and will be produced by it's director David Bruckner. It will be released by Chiller films (Animal) in 2016.

Well, I liked Amateur Night. This sounds kinda similar, though
Wait, Siren? As in from Greek mythology? Make that practically the same

I could see how Amateur Night could be a decent feature film but Safe Haven would have been better to adapt.

They were just fine as shorts (though in the case of Safe Haven, I guess more character development can't hurt. I thought it was great as is though). Plus, it isn't lengthening AN anyways. This is a "new" film that sounds almost exactly the same as AN

When I read the title, I thought it was an adaptation of the survival horror game.

Still, this reminds me that I really need to see V/H/S.

Hannah Fierman who played Lily in the original short is returning for the feature film to play her again.
