Horror Movies That Would Make Good TV shows

Which horror movies could be made into a Hannibal/Bates Motel/Scream/Damien/Ash vs. Evil Dead type of TV show or would have just been better as being a TV show instead.

For me
House on Haunted Hill
Event Horizon
At The Devil's Door
I Still Know What You Last Summer (for the setting mainly)

Can't believe I forgot about it. Wonder if the franchise is completely dead after the disaster of Revelation and the unexpected cancellation of Silent Hills or if it can eventually pull through in time.

That's funny because they basically did do a TV show version of it with Harper's Island (and yes, it was MUCH better).

You'd think Nightmare on Elm Street, but Freddy's Nightmares was kind of horrific. But that's mainly down to execution. There's a million things to do with the dream concept.

I can picture a Shining TV show. One location, different people coming and going each season as hotel guests.

Ohhhh yes. The only major complaint I had is the survivors. They suck. All of them. Also, the motive is really retarded

I really do love the setting of I Still Know and Harper's Island style show would work. I'd imagine it being concentrated on the resort staff who work the hurricane season and some guests bring along a killer with them or something.

I also honestly would love a TV show version of The Cabin in the Woods as a The Office-style horror comedy. It'd be the horror equivalent of UnReal on lifetime.
