An Invasion of the Body Snatchers show would be interesting, focusing on both a dwindling pool of human survivors and on some of the pod people as they try to assimilate the survivors. The setting could be anywhere: suburbia (like in the '50s version), the city (like in the '70s version), high school (like in The Faculty), a small town, etc.

Or a TV version of The Omen, focusing on Damien as he grows into his role as the Antichrist. It could be like House of Cards, only Frank Underwood is literally demonic. I remember the show Point Pleasant doing something like this, but that was more of a teen drama than anything, and it only lasted one season.

A&E actually are making an Omen sequel series called Damien. It'll premiere with the fourth season of Bates Motel.

Alone in the Dark
House of the dead
Well both are based on video games so have a bunch of mythology and backgrounds for potential growth. Same for Silent Hill
