The ending of Hatchet 2 and beginning of 3 don't depend on dialogue but pure action. Her acting/character doesn't effect how Marybeth viciously fought the killer.

Well, the fact I dislike Marybeth and the fact her acting (at least at the end of 2) is terrible kinda does hurt it for me

But the moment was epic because of how it played out. 3 was a magnificent opening. The over the top violence is what makes the scene

3's opening was cool for Crowley getting sliced in half and Danielle's acting was less obnoxious, 2's ending was completely ruined by her though. And neither were amazing or even the best moments of their film (Sex kill for 2, Bazooka for 3)
