Thoughts on Blumhouse?

Blumhouse Productions is the company behind hits like the Paranormal Activity series, The Purge Series, The Sinister Series, the Insidious Series, Oculus, Ouija, and Unfriended. They have also had minor bumps like The Lazarus Effect, Dark Skies, and Mercy. They make films cheap and in an incredible amount. They give directors all the creative freedom they want as long as the films considered to be worthy of being releasing. Do you think his films are good for horror or is he tarnishing the genre?

I honestly love their movies. I really believe they classed up horror in a sense and brought in star power to a lot of their films. I mean compare them to Platinum Dunes and when they remade everything or Dark Castle and when they made all those schlocky remakes.
