The story of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974.

Seems pointless since they just made a pretty big documentary about this very event, but...man, those trailers. I get vertigo just watching them.

Oh, and why not: me in the modern World Trade Center.

So, a bit mixed. I got tired of hearing people yell at each other with bad accents (JGL sounds like one of the French puppets at the beginning
of Team America), and it could verge on cheese at times (it's the same director of Forrest Gump, after all), but... GOD DAYUM. If one scene EVER made a movie worth watching, it's the big walk across the wire scene. My hands were sweating, my mouth was dry, I was breathing heavy. That scene was incredible.

The second half in general (which plays like a heist movie) is pretty okay, and I did get choked up a bit in the final moments when they tribute the towers.
