In a massive, mysterious chamber, fifty strangers awaken to find themselves trapped with no memory of how they got there. Organized in an inward-facing circle and unable to move, they quickly learn that every two minutes, one of them must die... executed by a strange device in the center of the room. At first, the attacks seem random, but soon the strangers realize that they, as a group, have the power to decide who will be the next to be killed. A vote. A chance to control the machine. But how can they choose who deserves to die? And what happens when there's only one person left? Circle is a film about people, how they value one another, and what they do under the worst possible circumstances. A film about what makes us human - who we are, what we believe, and ultimately, the lengths we will go to save ourselves.

Not sure if this is the right section... but this sounds like it could be interesting done well. And I do like Julie Benz
Just finished. This was actually pretty good. Some good suspense at times and, honestly, it was a lot less predictable than I'd been expecting. I mean, there were definitely some deaths I saw coming, but there were plenty I didn't. Not gonna comment on the ending one way or another except that I was really satisfied, I especially loved that
Spoiler: click to toggle

The characters that they actually semi-developed were solid enough, though obviously they're not going to be toooo fleshed out. Favorite would be Eric (guy with the red shirt layered over the black one), seeing as he was probably the most developed and interesting one there. Second would probably go to Julie Benz's character. I thought everyone was pretty solid for the most part, no one was too bad (I mean, there were obvious hatesinks, but I thought they served their roles well enough. It wouldn't make much sense for everyone to be likeable in this. And then obviously the sympathetic ones are fairly sympathetic. And then you have a bunch I was kinda indifferent to since they were pretty much just filler)

It's definitely no masterpiece, but it is an original concept and it's pulled off well, so yeah. Liked it.
