Thoughts on the idea that the White Walkers symbolize climate change?
Was that a huge thing in the 90s or not really?

Either way, seems like kind of a stretch
The 90s is when it became a political issue yes.

And idk, they change the weather and everyone ignores them until it's too late.

Also, is there some thematic significance to Ned's sons (Robb, Jon, surrogate Theon) each having a scene where they have to put down an old guy talking shit about their leadership? Followed by something horrible happening to them at the end of the season (captured, murdered, etc). Wonder if we should expect Bran and Rigone to have one.

Never noticed, but look what happened to Ned :skull: His sons due tend to make similar mistakes, probably on account of being raised by the guy

Loving the show so far. On episode 7 of season 1 so I have a lot of catching up to do. So far my favorites are Tyrion Lannister, Daeneryes Targaryen, Jamie Lannister, Robb Stark, Jonn Snow, Cersai Lannister, and Eddard Stark. Love the costumes and setting of the shows. Great effects and scenery.
