After three weeks of chatting with the thirty-two year old photographer Jeff Kohlver over the Internet, fourteen year old Hayley Stark meets him in the Nighthawks coffee shop. Hayley flirts with him in spite of the age difference and proposes to go to his house. Once there, she prepares a screwdriver for them and Jeff passes out. When he awakes, he is tied up to a chair, and Hayley accuses him of pedophilia. Jeff denies the accusation, and Hayley begins to torture him in a cat and mouse game.

This movie was stellar! I loved it a lot! Ellen Page was fanstastic, and Patrick was great as well. This film is more of a thriller than a horror imo, so I didn't post it in the horror section. I think the dialogue was great, and it just had very intense sequences. I love how:

Overall, 8/10. Neat little film here! I recommend you see it, especially if you like Ellen Page!

The film that made me love Ellen was Juno. I adore Juno. haha! But, yeah, this film was great! She was perfect.

OT: I could see her playing Jill in Scream 4. Her character reminded me a lot of Jill, just, well...far superior acting.

From what I recall this was a very good movie, I do need to watch it again though - I have it on DVD somewhere.

If you like this, check out God Bless America. Similiar and also brilliant.

This is good. Ellen deserved an award for her performance.

Why is this not in the horror section though? It's pretty difficult to watch at times, and has horror themes.

I definitely agree. Ellen is sometimes underrated. But, I felt like it was more of a thriller than a horror, so I put it in here.
