If you haven't yet, give it a watch. I was hoping it would be on Youtube, but it could be on Netflix by now. Amazing movie. Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson play off each other pretty well and the ending is one of the best IMO I've seen in a while.

This probably has the most effective torture scene ever. You don't even see anything, and I had trouble sitting down afterward...

It's also better than Saw at moral ambiguity...

Well Saw isn't all that morally ambiguous. The people in the first one clearly don't deserve to die

4-I'll give you this one: rapist, wife and child beater, psycho murderous prostitute
5-Maybe Seth and the Fatal Five? It's kinda flimsy and applies to only a handful of characters
6-Considering how utterly reviled Brent is by the fanbase, I'd say not. The closest it gets is William having to pick who to save in the traps, and even then those people clearly don't deserve to die
7-Considering Hoffman burned an innocent woman alive, killed tons of police officers, and put three people in a trap for being in a damn love triangle, I'd say the last thing they were going for was moral ambiguity

I do think this looks MUCH better than most/all the Saw movies though. Need to see it

Besides, I thought you guys were the ones who were always praising the sequels for moral greyness?
