There are certain rules one must abide by to successfully survive a horror movie

Four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.

I was completely stunned after finishing this movie. It was a roller coaster of emotions. The entire film is so hauntingly terrifying yet beautiful at the same time. It was disgusting, scary, magical, and heartbreaking. I loved all of the characters but Candy (Vanessa Hudgens) was my favorite out of all of them. (Hopefully you'll understand why after seeing the movie). The acting was amazing, breathtaking, I felt like these were real people. The film is so crazy it's amazing. I really hate it when people say that this film is just stupid porn fun. When it is so far from that. This is the best film I've ever seen.

So hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry, for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

There is nothing "ghetto" about the film. It's a really beautiful film about our society. What do you find "ghetto" about this movie?

The basic concept and the advertising campaign

It just doesn't look like a film I could take seriously.

I found this film completely disturbing, scary, and gritty. There was no part in this movie where I found it to be not taken seriously. Are you referring to the party scenes from the trailer? If so, they are a small part to the film. But they are also very important in a way.

Mainly. But I just feel like the whole movie hides behind the "disney girl gone bad" advertising campaign. It's not that the four cant act, it's mainly that they were clearly cast for the controversy.

Actually it doesn't, that is definitely not what this film was trying to go for.
