Some people are beginners when it comes to Mage Bank PKing and this is just a small guide to clarify things for them, and possibly help them get better. 1) Targeting - When targeting someone always fall in on him, this is to prevent him seeing the killers combat styles & spec trading. Which also helps drain food and in turn better than chances of killing our Target. 2) Spec Trading - Special Attack Trading (Spec Trading) is letting your team mate to use his special attack to waste the targest food. The ideal Spec Trading weapons are; AGS and Dragon Bow, which can kill or waste the Targets' food. I recommend bringing Dragon Bow if you have one. Almost always, Dragon Bow Spec Trades are more needed than ags since they will mostly protect melee. After Spec Trading always stop attacking, and let the innitial Target killer back on his opponant. If you are going to Spec Trade make sure the opponent is frozen with more than 6+ seconds left, in the case of battlescape 8+ (bs pj thing is weird), I suggest Spec Trading right after the freeze to make sure you don't fail, and let the opponant get away. Do not shout in the ventrilo "let me spec let me spec" when the killer asks for the Spec Trade you'll do it, there's no need to shout that you have a Spec Trade. One more thing.. If the target is praying melee let a Dbower spec, if he's praying range let the ags spec. 3) Teleblocking - When TBing you must always have a timer open, and ready to go. If you do not have a timer, you can use this: www.online-stopwatch.com -> Count -> 2:27 -> Set. If you're using swiftkit, there is a option for a timer on swiftkit itself. As soon as you TB start out the timer, remember that you have missed about 2-5 seconds from the tb to the start off the timer so i would set the timer to 2:27 - 2:25. Or better yet, Set your timer automatically to 5 Minutes just incase of a full, to help with confusion. Incase of a half TB(2:30 MIN): After the timer runs out you will have to re-tb him, if you have a dragon scimitar you can try to use it to knock his pray down and full the opponent. Incase of a Full TB: After the timer runs out (If it's set at only a half or 2:30) restart it fast, remember that you have lost couple seconds so when the second timer starts you're going to be off a few seconds already. The timer would be around 4:51 and not 5 although, I recommend just spam clicking tb at this point already. 4) Re-Tbing Since you have the timer you will say in the ventrilo that you need to re-tb the target and the killer will get off. Re-tb isn't needed unless the opponent is near the lever, if he isn't anywhere near a lever theres no point to tb since he cant get away anyway. You can still Re-TB him just incase though. If the opponent is hugging the lever you will need to spam click TB and the opponent as fast as you can to manage to retb him before he clicks the lever and gets out, This can be hard but possible. 5) NPC Killing - Bats: The bats are level 21 near Mage Bank, as soon as we get near the bats you will need to kill them to prevent them 'pjing' the killer. As a TBer i suggest bringing whip or d scim to kill npcs that you're gonna need to kill. - Pirate hut: Same thing, kill all of the Pirates as quickly as you can because we dont want the target to log out. - Ladder: This is a bit more complicated. One hybrid stays up since there are no npcs there, the rest are going down to kill the npcs. Tbers and tanks kill the npcs and hybrids kill the target ofcourse, We dont want a rag to get on our opponent by ''mistake''. |
