this is a short story i made up. its warriors based, about two young apprentices from diffrent clans that always get in trouble together and are best friends. hope you like it :)

just to let you know who's in who's clan...
thunderclan
leader-Silverstar
Deputy-whitestone
warriors-spikepelt
apprentices-Daisypaw
Waterclan
leader-Halfstar
apprentices-Willowpaw

Willowpaw and Daisypaw
in
a secrete game of tag

Deep in the woods, near the edge of Thunderclan, a bird cryed out in alarm and took wing. Willowpaw pounced, and her paws landed a mouse lanth of were the bird was moments before. "so close!" cryed the blue furred she-cat.
"oh Willowpaw, you'll get it next time." insisted the white she-cat next to her.
"you don't understand Daisypaw, im use to catching fish in the rivers of riverclan, not birds in the trees of Thunderclan." the she-cat sighed.
"yes...but I've never caught a fish in my life like you can." insisted Daisypaw, trying to cheer up her friend.
"true.." sighed Willowpaw, batting a rock to the side.
"hey, enough hunting. want to play tag?" asked Daisypaw, jumping up in excitement.
"ok, but we have to be quiet. if Silverstar finds out im in Thunderclan territory again she will rip my pelt off"
giggled Willowpaw, tagging Daisypaw and taking off.
"no fair!" called daisypaw, giggling as she took off after her Riverclan friend. the two young apprentices raced
threw the forest, threw rippling creaks and over fallen trees.
"tag!" called Daisypaw as she tagged Willowpaw with her tail and raced away.
Willowpaw laughed, racing after her friend but than skidded to a stop. "wait, listen!" she called.
Daisypaw stopped, pricking up her ears.
"Silverstar, i herd it over here." said a rough voice the apprentices knew so well. "Spikepelt!" they moaned.
"quick," said Daisypaw, couching behind a bush. "hide! they might not have seen us yet."
Willowpaw crouched quickly, with silent paws.
"are you sure you herd them?" asked Silverstar in her warm voice. "positive. those little mouse brains are always
breaking the code and getting into trouble." growled Spikepelt.
Willowpaw laied her ears back. she partiquarly hated Spikepelt, and his nasty attitude.
"wait...i scent Riverclan!" hissed another voice known only to well as Whitestone. the sound of his noisy paws
on the ground shuffled threw the dead leaves of Leaffall, as he came closer to Willowpaws hiding spot.
Willowpaw laied her ears back, as Spikepelt and Silverstar came closer.
Daisypaw jumped out of the bushes, tackling Whitestone and pinning him down. "ha, caught you off guard!" she said,
as if she had been planning to surprised him.
whitestones eyes widened and he laughed. "good job Daisypaw, but you shouldn't have been out here alone in the first place!" he scolded.
"whats going on?" called Silverstar, heading into view. "Daisypaw? what are you doing out here alone?" asked Slverstar, not sounding the least bit surprised.
"i...i...wanted to hunt." said Daisypaw in a quiet voice. "but than i surprised whitestone." she said, not looking at the bush Willowpaw was hiding in.
"well, you know your not supposed to leave camp alone. come now, lets head back to camp and discuss your punishment.
" her voice had a disappointed tone to it.
Willowpaw jumped out of the bush. "wait! its not only Willowpaws fault! i am the one who suggested playing tag alone in the forest." she meowed.
"Riverclan! i knew it!" hissed Spikepelt.
Silverstar narrowed her eyes. "Spikepelt, Whitestone, Daisypaw and Willowpaw, come with me to Riverclan. were going to speak to Halfstar about this." she growled, turning.
Willowpaw and Daisypaw followed the three warriors, trailing at the back. "you didn't have to do that." whispered Daisypaw.
"i couldn't let you take all the blame." whispered Willowpaw.
the two apprentices walked in silence. finally, Willowpaw perked up. "i want a rematch on tag."
Daisypaw perked up to, a smile playing on her lips. " sunrise tomorrow?"
"your on." said Willowpaw with a grin. and the two young trouble makers followed Silverstar, exited for there next game of tag.

I had no idea that was in Russian for so long. :I
Wandering through dark birch trees and a almost endless forest a young boy gazing at the sky, watching the sun just sinking just below the horizon, meaning it was getting too late. He was supposed to be out searching for berries and herb like plants, but he tended to get distracted like this. He just found it too interesting, full of wonder, potential. He truly been out there for hours and hasn't collect much. It was no wonder his parents didn't let him go hunting by himself more.

He began to snatch berries from a bush and shoved them into a little tan leather bag he had with him, no one really expected him to gather much, but it didn't bother the young adult about it. Since he spent the last ten minutes getting a good sum he decided to hop up a short, branched out tree to see the last of the sunset when he heard the obvious sounds of someone in the surrounding.

Another young male, more stocky and built who had a lean, low, crouching slump passing as silent as he could, not yet aware of the vampire up in the tree near by, hush taps from the beads dangling from the two daggers equipped in both hands were poking out for each wrist, in deep concentration on the brown rabbit ahead of him he hesitated from a rustle of the tree, the distraction caused the throw off and one dagger when down with a loud thud from siding on the dirt.

"Dammit!" The demon snarled, glaring as the rabbit fled past for his life.

Shaking his head in disappointed he stared up to see the cause, cocking his head at the young boy he raised an eyebrow before sinking into a stare.

"Who might you be?" He asked rather frustrated.

The young vampire kept his eyes on the knife and ignored the rabbit hopping away, he had already fed that day so the smell of the animal didn't even bother him. The demon standing before him at the bottom of the tree, he locked eyes with the amber orbs he had, suddenly a smile crossed his face.

"My name's Kai, and you are?" he brightly asked.

Kai let his eyes observe the man and quickly pulled his gaze away. Demons weren't mean creature's usually, at least not in the village he had been living in. But this was a stranger, and he could be hostile and being attracted to a hostile stranger was no good. He thought over about getting out of the tree so with an offer, "Sorry about scaring away the rabbit." he added with a sheepish smile before he jumped down and put his hand out to the demon.

The older stranger slightly twitched a bit when the boy named, 'Kai' was being so friendly and offering his hand out there like that. He was mostly know as a 'wild demon' the ones who kept their old ways and had to be reserved in small clans in the forest.

The demon bit his lip and sheathed on dagger to pull his hand left out cautiously and shook his hand firmly, keeping his eyes at the blood iris's of Kai's,

"Name's Baen... No worries, there's many more out there to get." he responded.

He gently let go and tucked long strands of black hair behind his ear, his dark, ram like horns uncurling back into his skull, making a unsettling sound with it. "What is a vampire doing out here? I mean, I might have mistaken you for something else..."

Kai coughed uneasily glancing to the side and shifting his weight foot to foot, "Oh just... Wandering." he pushed back his foot on the ground nervously. It was like he was reassuring himself rather than just answering the question.

"Ah..." Baen said in response.

Kai was one of the smallest out of his village, just didn't gain hefty weight, especially for his age. He never really cared about gaining muscle since he wasn't much a hunter or had a good reason to. He was wondering if that was a bad idea now... Perhaps he should have worked on getting stronger.

The vampire took one step back slowly. He was used to demons in his village, but he wondered briefly if they were different in the demon's only villages. "And... Looking for food." he finally added from his earlier statement. That wasn't a complete lie.

Kai pushed the brown hair that fell into his eyes out of the way glaring momentarily at it.

Baen grunted, "If your looking for some food or anything of that sort, I was just about finished getting a few things..." He paused once deciding on something to himself and gave a deep sigh, "I got a spare rabbit at the house if you need it." The demon tried to lure.

It seemed like the vampire didn't know the dangers of the forest or the demon's out in the woods. Baen decided to used this to his advantage.

Kai frowned turning to look away, he glanced at the foliage that concealed them from the two villages. Pity food? He sighed tiredly, he didn't need any extra food. His family was doing just fine, he only the slight excuse to get out of the weird conversation.

"No thanks, we're just fine." he said with a smile.

After thinking over his previous words though, he realized it didn't fit his excuse for being out. "Actually... Maybe?" He asked almost as a question.

"Hm?" Baen tilted his head staring at the vampire skeptical,

"You... Think you do?" Just to summon up the questioning tone Kai had. Didn't he just say they were fine?

"Well" The demon started, "If you do we can go by my village, there's not any vampire's since it's uh- kinda small." he lied. "But I do believe I have a deer with a couple rabbits in my house, it will be a quick trip." The demon said slyly with a assuring tone.

Although, the vampire didn't seem to buy into it so much. Baen smirked, "What do you say?" he offered again.

Laughing nervously Kai shook his head trying to clear the air, a little on edge but trying to keep common curious he answered,

"Y-yeah, yeah. That would be fine." he murmured quietly.
The reassuring tone that Baen was using mad Kai feel like a small child, he didn't like being treated younger than he was. Attempting to square his shoulders and turning his view to the other male he firmly said,

"Alright, let's go then." With the final decision, Kai began to walk in the direction the demon had come from, hoping it was the way they were headed.

Baen chuckled quietly to himself seeing Kai's strange abrupt change in personality,

"Heh, you know... It's that way?" he pointed to a direction slightly farther off than where Kai was going.

"I was hunting over there and here and the village over there." the demon tried his best to hold back laughter, it was so funny to see this boy trying to act older and seeming like he knew what he was doing. Either way it was amusing.

"Fuck," Kai cursed quietly. He visably deflated from the knowledge that he was wrong in. And not only that but Baen was laughing at him! "Who hunts on such weird places anyway?" Kai bitterly asked himself. "

"I knew where it..." The young vampire trailed off quickly giving up on a bluff, "Fuck." It was obvious he had no idea."

"That didn't come off as nearly as cool as I wanted it too." he admitted to the demon. He spun quickly and began to go in the general direction Baen had pointed. "Uh, I need you to lead the way,"

All Baen could do was just make a plain smile at Kai before telling him, "Alright then, will do." He patted his shoulder before moving along in front of him and leading the way. He was so lucky to come across a vampire after losing that rabbit...

"Say... Kai, how old are you?" He laid a hand onto the side of a oak tree and leaned against it casually.

Kai stopped when the demon suddenly leaned against the tree, "Are we... Lost?" He asked looking around. He wouldn't have any idea how to get back, and at the moment it seemed like a good comeback question before having to answer, should he answer that question? Did demons take slaves or something?

"Uhm... I'm eighteen. And you are?" He asked leaning his back against a near by tree trying to copy Baen by looking casual but still didn't turn out the way he wanted.

"Lost? Not at all, the village is right up ahead." The demon grinned at him and leaned closer to Kai, "Eighteen huh?" he took a good look at the vampire, "Nineteen." retracting back he got off the tree and continued to move towards the village without another word.

Kai was suddenly thrown into a panic not sure how to react to Baen getting so close to him, what was Baen doing? "Didn't he know it wasn't healthy to stop someone's heart? Geez." The vampire grieved to himself. He was almost flustered from realizing how much he was leaning forward the demon but Baen pulled back quickly turning his direction to the village, leaving Kai to stumble and trip on a root/

"Shit! I have to pay more attention." He forced a sigh at his lack of gracefulness. He was sure why he faltered, but was crossing his fingers the other male didn't.

Baen answered quickly to the sound of the fall, "Damn, you alright?" he held out his hand, "At this rate I think we might be able to get there at sundown..." He gave out a smart smirk, "Besides, how the hell did you fall?" He cleared his voice as a hint obviously showing that he wasn't dumbfounded why Kai was acting so weird.

Kai began to out slightly offended at the hand. Then his glare followed up the arm until he was glaring at Baen's face. He quickly glanced away not sure he could actually continue without being distracted by Baen's face. Finally grabbing onto his hand he pulled harder than it was necessary to have to get up. The vampire dropped his hand as quickly as he could slightly blushing as he brushed himself off.

"Well then, hopefully you travel well in the dark." he muttered. "I tripped over that root!" he said gesturing over to where the root should have been. But it wasn't there. "Where did it go?" He did not trip over nothing!

"Are you telling me your tripping over invisible obstacles now?" Baen made a strange face, "Well actually, I prefer traveling at night. It's you I worry about. Some of my people prefer to hunt something other than animals... Other than humans." he gazed over sure he was spooking the boy. His amber eyes reflecting from the sun as if they were metallic.

"Uhm, not? There was something defiantly there," Kai tried to sound logical.

Kai pursed his lips, so there was crazy demons. No wonder some came to live in his village, probably to escape. Baen could easily even be one and Kai was playing right into his trap. "Or maybe not..."

"Besides, unless you want to spend the night with me since they hunt the big dogs after dark." Baen didn't resist to grin at Kai.

Baen wasn't actually expecting the vampire to agree at all, so he pressed on, "I can cook pretty well anyway, and the bed is big enough, I can sleep on the couch." This whole offer was abnormal, asking a stranger to stay over at a demon's house, he really wanted to see if the vampire would accept, it would've been way to easy of a catch if he did.

"Are you suggesting I can't take care of myself out there at night?" He couldn't.

Staying the night at Baen's sounded pretty promising. And there was something about a bed, maybe sharing it? Yes, very good. "But I guess I could stay. I wouldn't want to waste my energy on the way home," he tried to look tough. "Such pretty eyes..."

"I am just insisting that you should be careful, they don't show mercy and sure don't like to spare young one's like yourself." he tried not to let a small smile tinge his lips, why was this vampire so easy? How come he was so confident that sleeping over at ravage demon's houses was okay?

"Alrighty then, I guess I will be preparing deer tonight." but the demon had much more in mind then deer

Taking a little while of swinging past trees and rounding small ditches they came to a peek over at the edge of the trees, a small hut and a hefty wooden house started to reveal.

"Right over there." he pointed. "Oh, and avoid eye contact, they would love to get a hold of that lovely body of yours." "Seems I get to steal him for the night!" Kai's face flushed at the comment, but he let out a small sound of disbelief. It was unusual for something to be said like that outright.

Still skeptical that this vampire was willing to walk right in. "Go right in." holding the door open for the boy.

"Don't flatter me," he said sarcastically. "There are surely more... Attractive bodies to be taken," Kai shot a quick look at Baen's body. "Oh yes, much better". And he wouldn't hesitate to take that. He eyed the other male suspiciously when he held open the door for him.
