CHARACTER INFORMATION Name: Justice Caroline Mclaren Age: 30 Gender: female Species: human DOB: April 11, 2375 POB: Dublin, Ireland Position Desired(Military or Civilian[If you want to be a criminal civilian that is available to]): Chief Science Officer Early Life: Born in Dublin, the forth of five children, Justice Mclaren's childhood was anything but typical. She was a military brat, the daughter of an Irish-American fighter pilot and a full-blooded Irish violinist (her parents met while her father was stationed abroad) As Emily and Gregory Mclaren were often away on business, Justice and her younger brother Jack were more or less raised by their eldest sister Natalie and brothers Greg Jr. and Ross. The family moved seven times before Justice's 10th birthday, traveling from base to base. When Justice was thirteen, the traveling stopped. They were living on the Andrews Air Force base in Maryland when Greg Sr. was tragically killed during a routine test flight. Emily quit touring then and moved her children to Richmond, where she and two of Justice's siblings still reside. Adulthood-civilian or military Justice moved out on her own shortly after graduating from high school and enrolled at the University of Maryland. She wasn't a very good student, however, and ended up dropping out after only a couple of semesters. Because of her turbulent childhood, where she was constantly being uprooted before she could even get her stems in the ground, Justice wasn't satisfied to stay at any one place for too long. When she was 19, her and her then-boyfriend threw everything in the back of his van and drove to California, where they got the bright idea to enlist in Starfleet. Justice initially hated Starfleet Academy as much as she'd hated college; actually, she hated it more, because it was far more structured and the teachers were incredibly strict. Notorious for her short fuse, the young woman butted heads with many an instructor, and failed so many classes that she was nearly asked to leave the school. If it wasn't for one of her science instructors, an incredibly patient yet hardheaded man who refused to let her fail, Justice's Starfleet career would have ended before it got started. But he challenged and inspired her to keep going, set out to build up her confidence and show her that she was good at something--that something science. Justice stubbornly met her instructor's challenge and, along the way, found her passion in the sciences. She pushed forward and, four years later, graduated near the top of her class. Since graduation, she has served as a science officer on three different vessels: The USS Milwaukee, the USS Freedom and the USS Juno. Medical Record: Appendectomy; broken wrist and minor plasma burns; lactose intolerance. YOUR INFORMATION Your first name: Devin How you found DSR: The boss told me about it. |
