As per title. I've already played this game before, on this very server, with some friends, and while we left it a while a go, we were slowly returning to it. However, a little issue (as title indicates) is preventing me from properly enjoying this little underpopulated gem... it doesn't load. The problem is the same as it has been presented in other topics, HOWEVER: - I've already tried re-downloading it (5 times, 2 with the MEGA link, and 3 with the mirror). - I've tried to delete it and re-extract it. - I've tried to run as administrator. - I've tried compatibility mode. - I've tried deleting ucoption.cfg. But i had to borrow it from one of my friends since it didn't extract in the first place (possible culprit?). - I've rebooted the PC. Twice. So, little recap of the issue, as-is. After character selection, when i press 'Start', it'll enter an infinite loading loop. In Task Manager it says the process (UCclient.exe) is running at 50-54% CPU (on a quad-core intel i5-3450@3.1 GHz) and at maximum 103MB RAM use. Internet-wise it's barely using any, with a load of maybe 10-11 Kbps, from what the resource manager says anyway. My system is: Win7 Ultimate 64-bit Intel i5-3450 @3.1GHz 8GB RAM EVGA GTX 660 OC Audio is on a dedicated card. (ASUS Xonar D2X) Edited by BraveSteelDragon, Apr 26 2015, 03:22 PM.

With the same computer too? UCGO can be picky about things... Also make sure the Audio is actually on, the game needs it to run apprently. Apart from that no idea sorry

Yes, it is the same computer, although since then i had to change graphic card since the old one was GTX 570 and became a plastic french-fry. I also have changed monitor, internet provider and speakers. And RAM. You know, the usual upgrading and maintenance jazz. I've tried to change the default audio device (which is what UCGO seems to use), switching it from the dedicated card to the integrated one. Nothing. I'll try to place it on my OS's ssd, even tho i'll have to make lots of space for it. EDIT: It should be called Nope.exe, not UCclient.exe... it still won't work. if it is indeed, then i'm calling BS. I've got one of the friends which is currently playing UCGO which has driver issues with Star Trek Online, and yet can play UCGO just fine. In our TS we joked about switching PCs... but at this point it might even be a thing. |

It's been a while, and yes i did manage to get it wrking, but only because i tried on my laptop. Today's been fun at richmond (by the time i'm typing this it's ended another round), hanging around with a zeon attack copter, derping around dropping ammo and landing a few lucky shots on some EF. (i think i've landed a few good blows ona full armor gundam, including the final blow) And yes skyvia, the zeon which was right in front of you was me

Oh I wondered who that was standing in front of me... Can't remember the name or the war really now... But remember that. |
