Ghettos
The ghettos are the run-down living places of the poorer, less fortunate people. These were the worst affected by the war, still having not recovered from the events. Dusty and dirty, you'd best hold onto your belongings, lest they be stolen by a beggar. Government soldiers regularly patrol the areas, sometimes abusing the civilians as public shows of power. Those who speak dirt about the government will be publicly whipped.

Synth VirRea
The Synthetic Virtual Realms that are exclusive to Capitol Citizen use, provide insight into the 'Old World', the time before the war. People can experience the feeling of grass, gentle wind, small rain showers, blue skies and various wild animals in these fabricated realms. Accessed through headsets much like arcade game booths, the realms are all interconnected, meaning people can meet up inside the 'games', and interact like real-life.

Wastelands
The Badlands are the poisoned lands, laid to waste by spilt radiation from the destroyed power plants in the 'Old World'. These lands are dead and blackened, stark truth and a reminder of the impact and scars the war left behind. Many refuse to venture into the Badlands, saying that they're cursed, and consider them taboo.

Gates
The gates pertain to the large gates that seperate the slums from the Capitol. People are allowed to move freely back and forth between the areas... If they are Capitol citizens. However, ghetto-living commoners are more closely monitored, especially when it comes to entry into the Capitol.
