![]() [ AERONWYN EALDWINE ] (Energetic) - (Determined) - (Young) - (Bossy) - (Haughty) ||Summarized|| Aeronwyn is a sometimes bratty, sometimes shockingly capable young woman terrified of messing this new job up. Wanting to prove she'd capable of standing next to her six older sisters and not looking like a failure, she's pushing herself and her prodigal abilities as hard as possible this year. Signed on as the new spellcrafting teacher, she knew there would be a lot of negativity to brace for with the position. Still, as the new year opens up she's learning quick and hard that things aren't going to be as easy as she thought. All the negative response has got her worried over her every move, and she's started shying away from certain activities like running a club out of concern for chasing students away from it. With students, it's obvious she's not yet sure how to act. Aero can be bubbly, which only makes it more obvious how young she is. But she's hardly unprofessional, and the first toe out of line has that made clear as well. She won't tolerate disobedience or jokes over her age in classes, and she expects at times too much from her students since "I could do this when I was young age". (Which often times means, she can do it now, so surely anyone else can too.) Outside class Aero is eager to meet people, make friends, and just experience "american life" and a world away from her home and family. She's easily excitable, wanting to try everything and anything, and generally all someone has to do is ask and she'll be thrilled at the chance to interact with students, professors, or anyone else. With other professors Aero seems to not fully understand yet that she's the youngest at in some cases looked down on for that. She's earned her position in her eyes, so anyone not seeing her as an equal peer doesn't yet occur. She's ready to make friends with the other staff, and maybe even learn something new from them. (But mostly she wants to show off- cause come on, she's awesome, naturally they should love her, right?) ||Family && Friends|| Aeres Ealdwine --- Aeronwyn's eldest sister is a famous welsh huntress, and often times her sister's name comes up well before her own in any conversation. Aero hates talking about her, or any of her older sisters and the mere mention of Aeres will have her eager to show off the things she can do better. ||Enemies && Rivals|| Person --- details details details ||Romantic Interests/History|| Person --- details details details ||Easy Places To Find Them|| Aeronwyn teaches MWF classes from 10-2, and Tu/Th classes at 9am and 2pm. Before these classes she starts her day at 8am and when there's time she can be found in the mess hall getting breakfast. After classes on MWF she likes to wander the campus but shies away when it seems like students move to avoid her. Between her classes on Tu/Th she grabs lunch in the mess hall and will chatter at anyone who gets too close. After classes on Tu/Th she roams campus when able or holds detention. Aeronwyn frequents the Library most often, and the Pond in the woods when no one else is there. She also likes hanging around the Teacher's Lounge, Spellcraft Classroom, and Permitted Forestry. ||Suggested Ideas|| Confrontation Spellcraft is basically the new politically correct term for witchcraft. Most hunters have been raised to hunt demons, the evil supernatural, and witches who use spellcraft to hex and hurt others. Thus, it's not surprising some students and staff are highly against Aeronwyn so much as being on campus, much less teacher others her skills. Any interaction of an argument busting out, an attempted fight, or cruel prank are a-ok with me. I'd also love maybe some interaction/discussion that may change someone's mind from being entirely against spellcraft upon actually talking to a "witch" peacefully. Don't Talk With Your Mouthful Aero likes to take lunch at the mess hall or outside, and anyone who gets in range will get waved at, chattered at, and possibly roped into conversation. Feel free to throw your character at her for this, as she'll never be against a nice meal and conversation. (Though be warned, she doesn't talk with her mouth full, but she will dominant the conversation if you let her.) Familiars Need Attention Aero teaches a class on bonding with familiars and finding the right companion to boost spellcrafting. The animals brought in for those lessons need more attention that one class every other day, though. She makes often trips to the classroom where the pets are kept, and arranges outdoor time for a lot of them. If you're interested in your character helping with this at all, do suggest it! Aero would love someone to chatter at while cleaning cages and taking critters out for air. Superheroes Unite The superhero club is in need of an advisor this year, and after last year's "Firebrand vs Captain Heart" fiasco, not many want to take it and support the train wreck waiting to happen. Aero is new though, and excitable/nerdy enough to think the whole thing is the coolest idea ever. So anyone actually interested in their character try to revive the club is welcome to ask her to advise it and embark on ridiculous hijinks with her to become super awesome best ever heroes of justice and love. ||Other Notes|| Aero is bossy and full of pink sparkled sass. This makes it easier for her to garner enemies than friends, but I'd love to try to get both for her so by the end of the semester the reputation of the spellcrafting class can be a positive one. Student/Teacher interactions with her will directly effect the public opinion of the major and some things in the plot, so tread carefully but don't hesitate to cause friction with her where you think there naturally would be some! |
