![]() My usual 1 hour qbd set up. Take yak full of rocktails also if you are not confident... though if you know what you're doing uni or titan is fine... I usually just take bunyip cos i'm lazy. You should heal all from ss+vamp scrimshaw with rocktail drops for emergencies... RIP bunyip+tacklebox. :/ You will be taking a fair amount of damage from the boss but the idea is that you are doing max-dps and vamp scrim+ss (and vamp aura if you don't have invigorate or inspiration) enough to heal you from all the bosses basic attacks. gotta say vigour >> any other ring, you get 2 berserks in a qbd kill usually and that extra 10% really helps get to assault quickly. If you use zerk+assault at start of 2nd and 4th phases then it's a 10 second phase. Auras: Invigorate = #1 dps Inspiration > Vamp > Penance Also would have to say void >> all unless on slay task, as long as you are a reasonably confident qbder and can avoid those 4k combo from soul, extremely hot firebreath etc... with tetsu or whatever you are still missing quite often, and missing those assault can really hurt kill speed. Learning how to time a run 2 steps back and then back up to qbd to during firewaves helps conserve food and doesn't waste time, at the most you should only get 1500 damage during a 3-wave fire wall. You can stall adrenaline between kills with a little practice which means you keep your adrenaline up enough to get to berserk level by the end of the first phase of the next kill. Should be getting 2 minute or less kills every time using this set up... 2 kills per ovl including looting+spawning time. If you fancy it you can take a polypore+mage helm to help mage phases... on the 4th phase a mage phase shouldn't be an issue with a zerk+assault but if it happens on 3rd phase it can slow you down a good 10 secs without a mage switch. A good tip for boosting your adrenaline is to you freedom/anticipation as you are running to the markers after 2nd and third phases... really helps you get that extra adren for zerk at start of 4th phase. A few 2 minute kills for demo... didn't have any aura/scrim active so taking a bit more damage than usual... just means i'm eating like 2 rocktails a kill instead of none.
