Five weeks down everyone! One team is left unblemished: Philadelphia! Congrats on the great start! Goalie: Craig Anderson - St. Louis 2W 1SHO 14 Fantasy Points Forward: Jakub Voracek - Minnesota 3G 3A 11.24 Fantasy Points Defense: Mark Giordano - Winnipeg 2G 5A 13.73 Fantasy Points Rookie: Jake Allen - Dallas 2W 1SHO 11 Fantasy Points Team: Minnesota - 110 Fantasy Points The Wild showed they are still a force in the Western Conference in besting division leader Dallas 110-65. Minnesota had balanced scoring from the front and back end, Nick Bonino and Jakub Voracek led the forwards with a combined 20 points, while Dion Phaneuf and Niklas Kronwall chipped in for 16 points combined. Dallas hung in with a great effort by young Jake Allen tallying 11 points. Week 6 brings us our first rematches of the season. The battle of Gotham is on again as the Islanders look to for their second straight win against the Rangers. The Blueshirts took the first matchup 81-67 in week 2. Our highlighted matchup also has another rematch as Tampa battles Ottawa. The Sens took the first matchup 90-67. Right now the Senators lead the bunched Atlantic Division, four teams at 3-2. Tampa brings up the rear at 1-4(Sorry, had to hold back the tears writing that). Ottawa's blueline has been the key to their revival with T.J. Brodie, Sami Vatanen, and Erik Johnson leading the team in scoring with over 30 points each. Tampa has remained somewhat competive with the emergence of Patric Hornqvist who has 32 points. Will Ottawa take control over the division or with Tampa get back into the race? |
