Who said there would be no drama in the last week of the season? Like I always say you guys always give me endless stories to right about. Starting it off, how about the Metropolitan division being decided by 1 point! 22 weeks separates two of our best franchises by 1 point. What a turnaround by the Islanders who started October with the worst record in the league, all the way to a division championship and a bye. As for Philly they get to take revenge on their rival Pittsburgh in the first round.

The Atlantic was bunched all season but in the end Montreal reeled off four straight to take the crown. Ottawa and Buffalo will get together for a fourth time this season in the first round.

Out West, Winnipeg can't be stopped, that makes nine straight for the Jets and a division crown. Minnesota comes into the playoffs red hot winning four straight and will due battle with St. Louis in round 1.

I saved the best for last. Detroit are your new President's Trophy winners besting rival Phoenix in a high scoring game. The Cup champs open their defense with Dallas. Also I would be remiss if I didn't mention Vancouver getting a big win to go into the offseason(Hello Connor!).

Alright Ladies and Gents our last regular season awards:

Goalie: Semyon Varlamov - Winnipeg 3W 1SHO 15.5 Fantasy Points

Forward: Jiri Hudler - Minnesota 4G 4A 14.75 Fantasy Points

Defense: Kris Russell - Pittsburgh 2G 3A 15.9 Fantasy Points

Rookie: Mark Stone - Detroit 1G 3A 7.08 Fantasy Points

Team: Detroit - 122 Fantasy Points

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs! I will be posting East and West playoff previews later today.
