You're an idiot. Ron wrote the set up for them to be siblings. They dropped it in the end but the anvils were written. |

^^^That's why HNY was so confident about his McBam "scoop". He saw the anvils and went with it. |

My responses, "But AJ didn't really screw up, he didn't cause his downfall. He was a victim." This can be matter of prospective, which is why I posed the question yesterday to the board. For myself, I consider AJ screwed up when he reverted to his old crutch after losing ELQ. His drinking then spiraled out of control and led to a series of escalated screw-ups; physically accosting Connie, cruelly driving Elizabeth away, losing all credibility, and allowing Ava to manipulate him literally to his death. I agree AJ was Ava and Sonny's victim. However, as I saw it he began the road to his own downfall when he reverted to drinking again. "Uh yeah, but we didn't need an insider to tell us what's onscreen, we already know this as she never stopped her nastiness in the first place. HNY came out and said SK is a goner, but with BRITT just that she reverts to old ways. Well tell us something we didn't already know and see." Britt did stop her scheming ways for a time post-Ben reveal. As I recall, many here in May believed RC was redeeming Britt for good after she softened and consoled Sabrina. "Apparently HNY came on and said GH inked some crazy deal with Billy Miller that gives him exit clauses so it seems to be gospel now." To be clear, it was an anon who scooped BM coming months ago, and already tipped my hat to them. All I could tell you in May was hearing FV did have his Jason recast all lined up. Then last month, Michael Logan of TV Guide confirmed those swirling BM rumors, calling it a done deal. After some digging, I heard the last few months BM/FV spent negotiating and the deal sounds similar to RH's flexible contract. Now some do consider his deal pretty crazy, I grant you that one! PS: New question for the day. Do you feel Elizabeth has "gone under that bus for Britt" in this arc? If so, how? Or have you been surprised by how this arc playing out so far? If so, how? -Happy New Years |
