Anon, anyone that watched those Sina scenes objectively said the same thing yesterday. Nobody needed Kiki to point out Silas is doing this out of obligation - that was clear as day. |

Honestly I don't think this whole thing is about Siam or Sina. It's about being able to move Sam over into Samtrick and that whole story while catapulting Nina over into Franco and Ava/Kiki. Silas was just the springing board |

Yup. Though anyone watching without an agenda saw that. Let's be real the only people pimping Sina were those that wanted Silas contained to Nina fearing that he'd still be available for Sam later. |

It doesn't matter period. He loves her, he doesn't love her. It's all about moving the plot for Nina along one way or the other. Her having Silas love her and want to give her a baby willingly doesn't create story for her. Him playing her and her playing him and her being told that Ava got everything she ever wanted is what sets Nina off in the direction she is going-with Franco, the one getting the story with her |

It's a good convo until someone decides they know ALL posters and who has agenda. Since Silas hasn't had much of a POV on anything, it's all guess work. There are certainly contradictory things on screen. He looks one way, but yet he sexes up his wife again before going to work. So I can see why some people see it differently. |

He doesn't need to be contained. If RC wants him in the story he would have put him there. So nobody's agenda makes sense. It is what it is. Ron wants Samtrick to play up the JnR return. He would have found another reason to break up Siam but he used Nina because it is a way for him to move Nina onto targeting Ava and Kiki and enhancing her story with Franco outside their therapy/growing friendship |

Not the OP and I agree but I think honestly Silas' POV doesn't matter to Ron. He didn't even get a mention in the Fall previews which is weird since he is in the same story as Nina and she was in the preview. Kinda telling honestly |

I agree. Ron moves the chess pieces around via PP for story whether it makes sense or not. Most of the fighting on the boards is because there is such weak motivation and POV given for most of the characters. We are constantly asking "why" and people write long thesis trying to explain characters because it's never really explained on screen. |
