I think people give way too much authority to NV. Suggesting he has all that control over story on GH would mean he has same authority over Once upon a time and that new Christel show, and that's just bupkis.
So, what's NV's role then? I'm just curious.
JMO but I would say "Marketing". lol

NV is like an executive liaison between the shows and the network exec
I doubt he tells them what to write but you bet he watches feedback, ratings and focus groups and relays back changes needed/wanted

And why does he review scripts if he has no say so? I keep hearing different things about his role, lol.
I think he's the corporate guy, the go between show runners and the network. Sure he has input but he's not in charge. It's like most major corporations. People may be In charge of specific areas of business , but their activities need approvals by other areas. No one works as an island. Even though you may report up a chainof authority, others within the firm have input and sign off authority

How was TC a douche to IR?
He was a major jealous boyfriend. Got into a fist fight with IR about VM, while he (TC) was dating/engaged to her.

With NL he was did the jealous boyfriend routine again, but it wasn't regarding other actors on the show since NL's Emily was the on-screen girlfriend.
That's it? :zzzz :zzzz

IR was a major douchebag in the 90s.

Yeah, based off his twitter he does talk a lot about focus groups, ratings analysis, and reviewing scripts. I'm sure if he didn't like something, he'd send it back.

RC referred to him as his boss to a fan. The fan sent a tweet of his to NV and RC responded with something like maybe you should've waited for a response before tattling to my boss.
