And now we know what replaced GH in the 2pm time slot in Chicago.
IDK any1 in Chicago who watches Windy City Live once a day let alone 2x a day. And this is what is replacing #GH? Really? SMH.

I don't understand the strategy. GH is only changing time slots in O&O affiliates. That time slot is still owned by the affiliates so the other affiliates could purchase GH for that time slot or get it for free at the regular time. So now ABC to put something in the ABC owned 2pm time slot in those markets. They don't seem to have any new programming developed for that purpose. Love The Chew or hate it. It was a decent lead-in for GH.
I think this may be the first step to move GH to syndication. And that would be the end of the soap.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
He wasn't the center of every story. He was unnecessarily inserted in most of the stories. More often than not, Jason was supporting just so that he could be on screen. And we don't know what Steve asked of GH, what he refused, what Frank asked of Steve, what he refused. The devil is in the detail and that is pure speculation. Steve is gone and Jason is coming back. That's all we know and that's all that matters.
I would agree. Jason wasn't the center of every story. I was just going along with the complaints that he ate the show and all the stories eventually became about him. But I agree with your point. I also agree that no one knows what Steve asked for, what was offered. But Steve basically said FV ended negotiations. And came right out and said that what he wanted was to be able to block tape his scenes to allow him to spend more time with his family. Happy for Steve that he got what he wanted at Y&R. Happy for #GH to have Billy Miller as the new Jason. It's a win/win for me. Can't stand Burton, can't separate the person from his work. Maybe I could if he was a better actor.

Ugh, i'm so over SnB it ain't even funny, with Sonny being a nasty ho and VM being weird on twitter all of that has turn me off the couple completely.
VM is a nutjob. At least MB is sane on twitter. So true. MB is really, really cool on twitter..VM is a total nutcase on it...Her tweeting is totally turn me off her, Brenda and SnB. I wish she'd stayed off it.

So, you're saying he wanted to be more "supporting" rather than "lead"? How does that work in the stelly mind set of leads only work with leads?
You confuse lead with "the lead". in an ensemble cast there shouldn't be any true leads. There can be A list and then secondary supporting, but there can be multiple leads without any single character hogging the show or being the center of every story. Steve didn't want to be the center of every story anymore. Then what was the problem with John being in his story?

Telling how quickly he was committed to y&r as if it had been the plan all along. He must have signed by October to have scripts ready for hi to start taping by the 1st of the year

Dumb.. In philly the leadin is daytime jeopard. Same here in NY. I really don't understand why they are doing this. GH was doing well in the 2pm slot. In fact I think it added to their ratings.
